"Excellent Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
The hotel is well-located. Though it is an old building, and it could use some renovation.
"Great small hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Great small hotel, well...let me take that back: the room is actually a small one room apartment, so is quite big, compared to a regular hotel room. The area is perfect with great restaurants and places to go at a walking distance, very safe too. I wanted a happening place with city noise, it was perfect for me, but if you need a silent place that does not wake the kids up at night don’t go there (I mean the neighborhood or Mexico city for that matters, not the hotel)

"amazing architecture; right on the Zocalo."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
This century-plus aged hotel is stunningly beautiful inside. Look in even if you don't stay here. My suite was large and well appointed, but the AC didn't really cool the room and the bed was very squeaky. In short, it looked great but functioned a little less well. That said, I will stay here again on my next trip.
"Great Service, comfortable stay!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
I thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for me because it was close to where I needed to be. 5 minute walk to a mall with a few American stores like Aldo and Guess, a movie theatre, and some restaurants. We were even able to walk and found a museum and site seeing. There was however construction going on in the hotel but it wasn't bad at all. They didn't start too early or stop too late.

"good hotel"
Good hotel. Service good, but not great. Location was good as far surroundings go, and not terrible as far as distance from airport. Bathroom and room good.
"5 Star Hotel"
Within Mexico City, this hotel has a very modern feel and most everything you need within the hotel grounds.
"Nice Hotel but not convenient to anything"
Without a car - you are essentially stranded. There are taxis but with the construction in the area, the fare get costly quickly. If you are staying anymore that 2-3 days, stay somewhere else. The area around is not nice enough to walk even during the day which means the only choice is eating at the hotel which is fine for a couple of days.

"Camino Real Pedregal Mexico City"
I do like this hotel very much. Unfortunately I did not like the fact that after I had locked my door, in the morning the laundry lady walked in my room. She knocked twice and walked right in. I felt that this was a security problem that has to be addressed. I did told the front desk about it. They were sorry and asked me if I wanted to make a report. […] I did the report with Hotels.com because I feel the hotel was not going to do anything about it. Read more

Disenchanted to say the least. We had to have our room changed after the first night because it was shabby, no black-out drapes, broken closet doors, it was in the front of the hotel where we were kep awake until after two AM from the noise of the football fans on the street below . The restaurant was terribly overpriced for the quality of food they […] served at breakfast, and while the food was "decent" at dinner, the place was still overpriced for what it offered. The brand may be "Camino-Real" but the quality of the hotel is closer to a second rate "Days Inn" I would not reccomend this over priced flophouse to anyone, nor will I ever stay there again...just an added thought...they double billed my credit card. The hotel bears the Camino Real brand, however it is a second rate flop house. It is a commercial hotel, catering to business people, yet the staff is uncooperative and inexperienced. They charged my credit card when I checked in and upon check-out two days later they "lost" my receipt. I almost missed my flight because I was held-up at the desk for […] almost half an hour trying to check-out. They charged both my card and my brother-in-law's card for our extras (double billed) The first night we were given a room where te closet doors were broken, there were not enough towels and wash cloths for two people. There were only transparant drapes on the window, and the street noise from the football fans kept us up until two in the morning. Upon my complaints, they mo ved us the following night to another rom. Thius was quieter, in better repair, however we still had to call down for more towels because we were short. The toilet clogged, and it took three calls to get maintainance to fix it. The restaurant at the hotel was seriously overp-priced for the quality of food it served, particularly breakfast. At night, it is an Italian Bistro, decent food, but not worth the price. Read more

"Hotel Camino Real Pedregal"
Read more

Read more
