We spent a night here for U of M graduation. Any other hotels closer to U of M were outragiously priced and booked.This was a wonderful hotel. The room... had a kitchenet. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, shower was great. Breakfast in the morning was good. They had french toast, eggs, sausage, cereals, bagels, fresh fruit. There was a mall near by and some other resturaunts. We would definately recomend this place. The price ws great. we stay here for 7-10 days every year. great convenience (walking distance to restaurants and grocery), the pool is great and we love that they serve breakfast and dinner 5 days a week, with beer and wine. the staff seems to be declining from the absolute high it was a few years ago, but still as good or better than most other hotels i stay at.

Everything was OK, witness our ratings. But we didn't get what we wanted. We wanted a suite and what we got was a large room with a sofa & kitchen at one end and the bed at the other end. We have a 17 year old son & wanted a separate room with a sofa bed for him & a bedroom for us. At this stage of our lives privacy is desirable on both sides ;-) Perhaps […] I didn't read enough when I was booking online, but it should be made very clear that this is not truly a suite with separate rooms. We stayed here because the hotel was highly rated by other guests, so perhaps are expectations were too high, but really, the hotel is nothing special. Yeah, it has the obligatory indoor pool (bit too cold) and hot tub (but no changing area), and the dark wood lobby with fireplace, and the full breakfast, and the free computer room, but one gets a vague […] sense of mediocrity. Building materials and accoutrements seem cheap, and don't try sleeping in the pull out sofa bed if you want a flat mattress and are over four feet. No flat screen TVs, and for a two room suite it just felt cramped. Read more

We were happy to have such a comfortable and spacious suite to relax during a recent power outage. It was especially helpful that the suite had several outlets to charge all of our electronics. The staff was pleasant. The pool and hot tub were a real treat and breakfast was tasty.

Every time we go to visit my parents we stay here. We have 2 small children and it's great to have two rooms to spread out in, plus a kitchen. We love the dinners they serve on weeknights, and if the dinner selection is too "grown up" for the kids they have even offered to find them something else to eat (cereal or spaghetti).
