The hotel was very nice, clean and conveniently located to the Cathedral (as long as you are able to walk a bit). You can have your breakfast in your room - they bring it quickly and there is no extra cost. We had a car and fortunately the hotel has its own parking area because it is very difficult to find parking on the street. Our room was too warm […] and we had difficulty regulating the temperature, but the staff came as soon as we called to fix the problem. The staff was outstanding...they helped us with Champagne tours and restaurant reservations. On our last day, we needed to depart early in the AM to drive to CDG airport and catch our flight. The staff made sure that we pre-arranged our departure and even had the car out and ready for us at 5:30am so we did not have to waste any time. We would stay there again. Just an FYI - we ran out of Euros on our last night and discovered that this hotel does not exchange Euros for US Dollars. Read more

The staff was friendly and courteous. Room was immaculate and quite. Accommodations were a great value. Breakfast was a little expensive. Otherwise perfect. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Cathedral from this hotel, but a nice one.

The staff at the hotel were kind and helpful. We were surprised that there were no dinner options nearby. The walk was good, but fairly far for those who don't walk much. We were disappointed that the wifi was quite weak. We never did get a clear signal, even in the lobby. They need to invest in a better system. The staff tried very hard to help us, […] but they were dealing with a poor wifi system. We found it at McDonalds about a mile a way. Just a thought for those that like to be connected. The Grand Hotel des Templiers was excellent! The hotel offers luxurious ambiance, yet the staff is friendly and ready to help with any requests. The room bathroom was renovated and offered all the amenities of American hotels. You can walk from the train station, and it’s close to all major attractions. A lovely hotel full of French character with some modern touches. A little dated but that is part of its character. Excellent service from the friendly staff - even parked our car for us in the secure courtyard car park. We had the continental breakfast served in the dining room - silver service and gilded monogram china, not cheap @ 16eu pp but plenty […] of food - so much that we ended up skipping lunch. Lovely indoor pool and sauna facilities but no tea making facilities in the room - although this could be obtained from the bar or room service. I absolutely loved this hotel, it was perfect, the rooms were decorated really well, and were really big. We were provided with dressing gowns and slippers, and somebody came to put sweets next to the bed and close the shutters while we were at dinner to make our sleep more pleasant. We stayed here with our infant son and greatly enjoyed our visit. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable. Our son was delighted by his cot and his parents were delighted that he slept all night. We found our room to be a very good size with lots of room for our son to crawl around. Although we were shown the air conditioning we forgot to switch […] it on so the room did get quite warm during the night. Like many other hotels in Reims breakfast is charged separately and costs around £10. We had breakfast in our room and were very pleased by it. Small touches such as warm milk for the coffee and cold for the tea were appreciated. I enjoyed my bath in the morning and the comlimentary bath robe and slippers. We only stayed one night and had a car with us so unfortunately I can't comment on the facilities around the hotel. We would stay here again either with our son on a family holiday or just my husband and I for a romantic weekend break. Read more

The hotel staff were very friendly, personable, and ready to help with any need. The hotel amenities were OK. It is an older hotel, and could use some updating, but the service completely out weighed those issues. Our only complaint was the bed which had some type of plastic mattress pad which really made the bed incredibily uncomfortable. I asked that it be removed and they were great in accomodating my request. The mattress was still a bit saggy in the middle. The staff was very nice and we enjoyed being in the beakutiful old building.

We came as a couple only for 2 days/1 night. Hotel is conveniently located but our room on ground floor (number 5) was quite small and felt a little oldish, Half the view from the small window was blocked with walls or other equipment. Hotellet ser diskret ut från utsidan med så fort man stiger i från gatan öppnas en annan värld. Vacker entrégång mellan gata och innergård. ランス、エペルネのシャンパーニュカーヴ巡りのために3泊しました。 よくいえばクラシックな、悪く言うとやや古臭いホテルで、ミシミシと上階のお客の歩く音が気にはなりましたが、バスルームなどはきれいにリノベーションされており、ホテルの人の応対も感じよく、全体としてはまあ満足な滞在でした。 ただし、室内のセーフティボックスは使用しないことを勧めます。海外で通常使用されている、数字を入力してロックするタイプではなく、フロントから借りてきた古い感じのキーで締めるものでした。 今となっては証明のしようがありませんが、2日目の夜、現金残高を調べたら明らかに100ユーロほどなくなっていました。旅の始めでしたので、500ユーロほどの現金を入れていたのですが、微妙に減っていたことになります。最初は私の勘違いかと思 […] いましたが、あとで友人の方も日本円の現金が2万円なくなっていたことがわかりました。 滞在そのものは、まあ満足だっただけにこのような結果になっとことは残念です。たぶん次回は利用しません。 Read more

部屋の広さ、間取りは良かったが、客室内は禁煙で朝食をとる場所の外側のバルコニーでしか喫煙できないため朝晩は寒かった。ホテルにバーはあるが、レストランがなく、朝食を除き外で食べる必要があった。駅前からドゥオーモに至る通りが繁華街でノンストップ営業のレストランも多かったがホテルから歩いて１５分くらいかかるため結構大変であった。シャンペン屋さんのマム社には歩いて行けたが、ポメリー社やクリコ社にはタクシーを使わざるを得なかったので結果的には繁華街近くのホテルのほうが良かったと思う。環境は抜群なだけに、レストランかせめて出前のルームサービスでもあればと思う。
