Attended a friend's wedding celebration and booked this hotel because it was more cost effective than others in Stresa. Reception folks were polite and helpful. Rooms were basic but clean - they met are needs. A/C worked great. Light street traffic was there but did not bother us. The Hotel Boston is a reasonably-priced alternative to the "resort" hotels in Stressa. It is located close to the lake and to the center of town. It isn't a luxury hotel, but for the price, it is very nice. The staff is helpful and kind and we enjoyed our stay

If you are visiting the lake district, this is a good point for the visit. Off the main street a bit, but near the heart of the community, this hotel took good care of us. Even though a tour bus came in and "took over", we had no problems with out stay and would definately consider returning.

We arrived 2 days early on our reservation, but the hotel did arrange a room. It had only a double bed, not twins, and most rooms would have also been larger. There was a wonderful breakfast included, qualifying as a "full" breakfast, with cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, unlimited coffee and juice, muesli, and more. Very good location, near to centre of Stresa but not with a Lake view. The staff were excellent, helpful, polite and spoke marvellous English which put us to shame. On the negative side, our rooms were small but kept very clean. The towels were like tea towels or sheets so not really much use. Good for a long weekend excellent value for money.

All of the staff, and particularly the night attendant, were extremely helpful. nothing was too much trouble. I had to leave at 6am, so the night attendant offered to make breakfast specially and was very courteous, friendly and accommodating.

If we were to stay there again it would have to be in a superior room with a balcony as the standard room we had was very basic at the back of the hotel looking onto rubbish bins. But overall we got what we paid for.

Stresa is an excellent base from which to explore Lake Maggiore and has a very good range of restaurants. vicinissimo al lungolago e al centro vero e proprio di Stresa (da cui si prende anche il battello per le Isole). poco distante anche dalla funivia del Mottarone. tutto raggiungibile tramite una tranquilla passeggiata sul lungolago. nella promozione acquistata su expedia non si capiva cosa ci fosse incluso e cosa non (anche i proprietari dell'albergo […] avevano molti dubbio, soprattutto sulla colazione), per cui abbiamo dovuto pagare perfino l'aria condizionata come extra! (e ad agosto non si può considerare tale) la camera era molto piccola, la doccia inefficiente, non c'era il phon nè il minifrigo, la cassetta di sicurezza era utilizzabile a pagamento. una mattina siamo usciti un po' più tardi del solito e al nostro ritorno non ci avevano rifatto il letto nè cambiato gli asciugamani (nonostante avessimo messo fuori dalla porta il cartello "rifare la camera"). tanti piccoli dettagli che potevano fare la differenza mancavano! l'hotel si salva per il personale molto gentile e disponibile, la vicinanza ai luoghi di interesse, e soprattutto per il costo ridotto del soggiorno in un luogo in cui quasi tutto è extralusso! Erittäin hyvällä paikalla Maggioren melkeen rannalla. Jos saa kulmahuoneiston parvekkeella, niin näkee jopa järvelle. Muuten toinen hotelli edessä. Mutta Stresan kaupunki todella hieno ja sopivan pieni ja helmenä 2-3 hienoa saarta ihan lähettyvillä jonne pääsee todella halvalla.

De ligging is aardig, parkeerplaats moeilijk, alles staat continu vol. De kamer die wij hadden heel sober, simpel en de douchecabine ging heel zwaar dicht en lekte. De eigenares en personeel waren vriendelijk en ontbijt buffet goed. Verder voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

L'hôtel est très bien situé par rapport à l'embarcadère pour les îles Borromées, c'est là son atout majeur. Nous avions pris un supplément pour avoir un balcon avec vue sur le lac, mais nous avons été déçus car la vue n'était pas telle que vantée sur l'article (on voyait le lac au loin, derrière les immeubles). L'ensemble de la prestation est correcte, très bon accueil. Ce que l'on peut regretter c'est le manque d'isolation phonique des chambres, on entend tous les bruits (volets, portes, toilettes, moment d'intimité ....).

La chambre est vétuste, peu confortable, à un rapport qualité prix non satisfaisant (certainement la situation géographique explique le prix élevé par rapport au prestation). Friendly staff. Good breakfast as you can eat reasonablely healthy (sometimes a problem in Italy). Good value as the hotel is placed few hundred meters from Lago Magiore and city center in Stresa. Important: Not all rooms have balcony and seewiev - you probaply have to order a "superior" room to get see view.

Bien situé face aux Iles Boromées, départs bateaux proches. Chambre agréable avec petit balcon vue sur le lac. Calme. Chambre supérieure confortable et bien équipée. Das Hotel Boston liegt in 2. Reihe hinter den Grand Hotels in Stresa und ist daher ruhiger und nicht direkt an der Durchgangsstrasse. Die Standardzimmer sind entsprechend italienischem Standard okay. Die Superior-Zimmer im 3. und 4. Stock haben Balkone und Seesicht. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr kinderfreundlich.

Bonjour, nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans cet hôtel. Il est bien situé (8mn du port et du centre de Stresa). Le petit déjeuner est correct (sucré, salé...). Le personnel est agréable. Je le recommande pour aller visiter les îles Borromée et les environs.
