"Only thing available"
Old smelly and price gaug at its finest! A/c extremely loud, towels horrible, tv from 20 years ago, paint peeling, smelled like flowers I guess trying to cover up someone that had smoked in the room! Will not stay again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Skip this hotel."
Paying over $200 for this facility was an outrage. Apparently due to high demand for rooms that weekend, it is the norm. Our reservation through Expedia said 2 Queen beds and we had 2 Regular beds. The hotel is run-down and just not terribly clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
The place was dirty. The breakfast was nothing. Not a place I will stay a grainGenuine Expedia guest review
It was apparent that the hotel is under construction, improving their bathrooms etc. Once the renovation is complete this will be a very lovely place to stay. As it was, even with the construction going on, it was still a nice place to rest after a long day of work. The front desk knew what was happening the weekend we were there, and were very helpful. […] Overall a very nice experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location for price"
Quality of a comfort inn, motel 8, or other budget places. Cant beat the location. Minutes from Northgate, and walking distance from campus. For the price, it cant be beat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Less than you pay for"
While not as expensive as most area hotels, it was still not worth the money. The room we stayed in had a strong musty smell and an overwhelming mold smell in the bathroom. The tub was painted white and the paint was peeling. Shower tiles were missing grout and leaking behind the tiles (most likely cause of the mold smell). And the towels were more […] than "kinda scratchy". Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was fairly clean just very old stuff in it. It smelled musty bc it was so damp in there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cheap stay for one night"
Was not a great experience other than the friendly front desk staff members. The phone didn't work in the room and stuff was dirty looking. It seems they were undergoing renovations at the time. Overall good for the cheap price but will wait till renovations are completed before returning.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location, nice staff, clean rooms and affordable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location Near Campus"
The room was clean as well as the main lobby. The hotel service was also very friendly, however there was construction in the lot next to the hotel which created a noisy environment. Overall though, the stay was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"ok hotel close to town"
The stay was fine ,the rooms were clean but a Bit out dated needs new carpet, Over all it was fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was a great price, they were nice and it was clean. Breakfast was wonderful and it was not crowded. We were close to everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was NOT CLEAN, We were not told that we would be charged extra for having our dog with us.. When I booked the hotel it stated that it was pet friendly - NOT that they would charge us extra AFTER our stay for our dog. If they had told us up front there would be an extra charge for our little dog I WOULD NOT have stayed at this c r a p p y hotel; […] I would have found a nicer one. "This hotel is garbage"
It was run down and disgusting! Construction everywhere and the place was so dirty!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Texas A & M University"
It was just right for the purpose of our trip. Good location and a nice room to sleep and bathe. I would recommend it. Unfortunately, they are remodeling so there was stuff all over, but I'm sure it will really nice when work is complete. A plus is AppleB's next door, convenient for a late night snack, drink or dessert.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One more in Bryan"
Hotel is under renovation, i hope they will keep the same rates after the work is done.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Basic Place to Sleep"
Everything was good except the construction project next door was loud on the morning we wanted to sleep in. And the fan in the heater in the room sounded like a jet engine. Actually had to turn off the heater to sleep. Luckily, temperatures were moderate the two nights we stayed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"available, convenient, sketchy"
Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Room not so much. Flat pillows, old tube TV with very limited channel selection. Pillows flat, mattress unconformable. Bathroom and shower needs upgrades. Good ol' boys always around blocking the walkway drinking beer, cursing, and oogling the girls. Location is heavy retail area. I think the room I had was […] used to film some episodes of Breaking Bad. The weekend I was in College Station had very limited room availability, Next time I'll for over the extra $100 for better hotel. The price of the room did not match the facility. "Clean, but overpriced"
The hotel is old and under renovation, but was clean in general. Price was too high for level of hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for the price"
We stayed three nights and had no problems what so ever.Genuine Expedia guest review
Sheets had stain on them and my 1 year old granddaughter was walking barefoot in the room and when my daughter pick her up notice her feet were black, I will never stay at This hotel againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pay more somewhere else"
This place was terrible and outdated. The room had a heavy stench of cigarette smoke and they claimed that there weren't any other rooms. The ac was incredibly loud and constantly woke me up. Stay far away from this place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for..."
The hotel/inn is bad, but I guess I got my money's worth. The problems I had with this place was the fact that the lighting job outside is just terrible. I mean every time I walked to my car, I swear I was about to get mugged. Lights make people feel safe. Also, for the room, it could use some remodeling. All of the furniture with the stains and what […] not look, appear they were manufactured in 1891. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Front staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Room decoration was old and worn but the A/C worked great. Patrons in the other rooms were quiet even though the hotel was booked solid. Breakfast was adequate. Hot coffee and a danish can't go wrong with that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was clean and comfortable. The bar across the street was noisy. We turned the AC Fan unit on high which drowned out the bar noise. The towels were thin and not very absorbent. The continental breakfast was nice, many choices. The tables need to be replaced as they were old and scratched plus one was a folding table. The appearance was very […] shabby. "Joining Rooms ???"
We needed adjoining rooms. We were traveling with lots of young kids. We wanted to be with them. That was the problem to start with and end with. I don't think the hotel staff even knew what they meant.Genuine Expedia guest review
Well, the room was fine. But their were rooms being renovated and although there were a lot of rooms available the lady working the counter decided to place us next door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of common sense is that? I had to ask to be moved because the sound of the tools and etc was extreme... Plus, when I asked she made it seem like i was […] asking her to donate her kidney to me!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"No smoking room... Yea right!"
Non smoking room smelled horrible. Left door open to ventilate. Bad experience. Never again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Slightly better than tent camping"
We obviously waiting too long to reserve a hotel as this was the last place left in town with rooms when we booked. Didn't want to go to Calvert for the next available so booked here. Location is good if you need to be in College Station and luckily we didn't stay in the room much. Bring your own blankets and pillows, and a candle or room spray.Genuine Expedia guest review
Location was excellent. Unfortunately the bathtub had not been cleaned properly The a/c was extremely loud every time it kicked on which made it very difficult to get sleep. When I finally got up at dawn to turn it off, noise from construction in next lot started and front door didn't shut tightly which allowed noise in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel was very run down."
Check out was at 11 and about 10:30 cleaning knocked on the door and 5 minutes after that the front desk called. Felt like I was being pushed out. The bath tub was nasty...mildew and enamel coming off the tub. I won't stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"decent hotel very close to my destination of A&M"

"Met my needs."
While the rooms seemed a bit outdated; the stay was fine. The rooms were clean, the staff was fine and the breakfast was good as well. I am an air conditioning contractor that was there on business and the hotel met my needs. I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Needs some major updates"
I booked this hotel because of its convenient location and because there was an extremely limited number of available hotels in this area. The cost I paid for the hotel is about 3-4x more than what it is worth. When I first walked into the room, the first thing I saw were all the lampshades were angled to the point where you could see the bulbs. Its […] not a big deal but thought it was a little unusual. The bathroom tiles and tub seem like they are about to fall apart. There was definitely an old smell associated with my room. There were two types of hair in my tub when I was going to use it for the first time. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was from the cleaning lady when she was cleaning the room. The parking lot could use a lot more lighting. I felt a little uneasy walking through the parking lot after the football game. The management could use some organization at their front desk. Guests do not need to have police reports about other hotel guests right in front of them while they are waiting to check in/out. The hotel location is great though. I hope that management gives this hotel the major upgrade it deserves. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We checked in late and the main office smelled like smoke. The room was relitavely clean, but the bathroom had hairs in the shower and floor. We were in late and out early the next morning and checkout was easy.Genuine Expedia guest review
The location is convenient. Towels are terrible -- thin, small and old. Worst thing was there was no coffee pot in the room, however, the room did have microwave and refrigerator. No DVD player in room. Good lighting in the bath/sink area. Stairs are in very bad shape, lots of the concrete has chipped away. Staff was nice enough.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Too expensive but great location"
Hard bed & old pillows, old looking, definitely needs updating. Bathroom smelled musty. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, but GREAT location if you're going to Aggieland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Came in town for the game and the hotel's location was great. Close to the stadium and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Check in clerk had no idea how to deal with a prepaid room. Hotel was dirty.Genuine Expedia guest review
the property was quite old. bathroom could use some work. but it was clean. marked up the price substantially for football game, but hey, this is America!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location, that is all"
Service and location were great. Hotel rough, lighting in rooms poor, linens thin. Breakfast the minimum. Obviously on its way to demolition.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great little hotel"
This is a nice little hotel that didn't give me any problems. The room was clean although the hotel is a little older but still clean. The staff was courteous and the location was nice. It was the least expensive hotel around town and I would definitely go there again if I ever need to.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient for Game Day"
Stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest and closest to Kyle Field. The employees were very kind. The lobby was clean and the grounds were clean. There was plenty of parking. Beds were what I expected. The room was a non-smoking, but all I could smell was smoke.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would never stay again"
Pillows were dingy, carpet was stained, bathtub was majorly chipped, door flew open on its own. Way over priced! I paid 170 a night off of expedia thinking I was at a better place because of the price- NOT! They would not let me cancel stay over a week before. Had to pay $400 for 1 night! Never again! I feel so cheated.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean rooms would make a difference."
1st day I checked the bed, pillow covers had not been change (did not smell fresh) more like sweat. We slept on top of towels because the pillows were not washed or the bed sheets at the end of bed had grass and specks of dirt from the carpet that was not vacuumed.. The second day the same, I did not say anything to the staff because I did not want […] them to come in the room late at night and the next day I did not want them to do something to our personal items like toothbrushes in retaliation. Bathtub paint was peeling off and tile on wall was going into the wall. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"convenience to campus is the only plus"
I would rate this hotel a little better than camping out. The lobby is dark and smoky; the desk clerk was not warm and friendly. The hotel room DID have a microwave and mini-fridge, but the shampoo came in a mayonnaise type packet, the pillows were flat as could be and the bed had no give at all. Outside noise was very discernable, yet, once inside, […] no noise could be heard. The water pipes were loud when water from other units was running. It was like camping BUT we did have a roof over our heads and running water. The breakfast lacked anything substantive on the menu. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I have about this whole experience, is that the normal nightly rate for the King room is $64 + fees. BUT, for football weekends, they tag on an additional $100 for a rate of $170 + fees--for the additional $100/room, they could provide a higher quality shampoo and breakfast as well as brighten up the lobby a bit to make it more inviting.
