We got the change of room from upstairs to downstairs. Thanks! The registration desk seemed to book all the guest rooms side by side. Rather than spacing them out so there would be parking for everyone in front of their rooms. Initially, the room reeked of bug spray. Either we adjusted to the smell or it dissipated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were desperately in need of a room and this was all we could find. Room was not clean. "Things" on the bathroom floor. Shabby exterior and interior. The breakfast was terrible. The room for the breakfast was small with tables jammed in there and not much of a breakfast. The person at the front desk, the owner I believe, is very hard to understand […] over the phone. Hotels like this are common in College Station. Pay wayyyyy too much for sub standard hotels because there's just not enough rooms in CS on event weekends. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and Clean"
I was initially afraid of all of the negative reviews I had on the site about the hotel because the hotel was in remodeling.I got a remodeled room and it was great, Staff is really good and friendly and the room was well maintained and nice with fresh paint, new tubs, and clean carpets.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Inn is in the process of upgrading. All the fixtures are new and being upgraded to include the bathtub and all other areas. There is new paint and new countertops.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The ONLY complaint I had/have is the bedside lamps had burned out bulbs, had to switch bulbs from the stand up lamp by the chair to read in bed. I have stayed at this location before, and will stay again. I think the price is fair and your whole operation is good, thank-you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"$50/ night okay $150/ night gold digging"
The college station market for hotel rooms is not unlike any college town. There are too many hotel rooms for a normal period of time. But, for event weekends, there are not enough good hotels. The Knights Inn is a hotel that at $50/ night is okay. But for event weekends, they like all the rest are charging exorbitant prices around $150 night. I guess […] supply and demand reigns. We have stayed in worse grudgingly. I am only happy this was our last event weekend in college station that we will be staying in any such hotel. If a hotel wants to charge so much for a room they will be rated as such. This is NOT a $150/night hotel under any circumstance. They are renovating. Of hotels that offer a free breakfast, their breakfast would rate near the bottom. The towels in this hotel lost their softness about 10 years ago. What remains for towels are rough grainy pieces of cloth better suited for cleaning tires. The location is very convenient to Texas A&M. The surrounding neighbourhood is currently being rebuilt. What used to be there has been torn down and new construction is under way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The price is right."
Rooms are old and stale. Every building around it is being demolished, I assume this hotel might be next. Blanket was like burlap, so I'll bring my own if I have to stay there again. Good thing it was just over a mile from our event.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"see our son"
The Hotel was very dirty and the breakfast was cereal and waffles, that was it. I would not go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was apparent that the hotel is under construction, improving their bathrooms etc. Once the renovation is complete this will be a very lovely place to stay. As it was, even with the construction going on, it was still a nice place to rest after a long day of work. The front desk knew what was happening the weekend we were there, and were very helpful. "Good location for price"
Quality of a comfort inn, motel 8, or other budget places. Cant beat the location. Minutes from Northgate, and walking distance from campus. For the price, it cant be beat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Less than you pay for"
While not as expensive as most area hotels, it was still not worth the money. The room we stayed in had a strong musty smell and an overwhelming mold smell in the bathroom. The tub was painted white and the paint was peeling. Shower tiles were missing grout and leaking behind the tiles (most likely cause of the mold smell). And the towels were more […] than "kinda scratchy". Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Location Near Campus"
The room was clean as well as the main lobby. The hotel service was also very friendly, however there was construction in the lot next to the hotel which created a noisy environment. Overall though, the stay was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a great price, they were nice and it was clean. Breakfast was wonderful and it was not crowded. We were close to everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was NOT CLEAN, We were not told that we would be charged extra for having our dog with us.. When I booked the hotel it stated that it was pet friendly - NOT that they would charge us extra AFTER our stay for our dog. "Close to Texas A & M University"
It was just right for the purpose of our trip. Good location and a nice room to sleep and bathe. I would recommend it. Unfortunately, they are remodeling so there was stuff all over, but I'm sure it will really nice when work is complete. A plus is AppleB's next door, convenient for a late night snack, drink or dessert.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Basic Place to Sleep"
Everything was good except the construction project next door was loud on the morning we wanted to sleep in. And the fan in the heater in the room sounded like a jet engine. "available, convenient, sketchy"
Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Room not so much. Flat pillows, old tube TV with very limited channel selection. Pillows flat, mattress unconformable. Bathroom and shower needs upgrades. Good ol' boys always around blocking the walkway drinking beer, cursing, and oogling the girls. Location is heavy retail area. I think the room I had was […] used to film some episodes of Breaking Bad. The weekend I was in College Station had very limited room availability, Next time I'll for over the extra $100 for better hotel. The price of the room did not match the facility. Sheets had stain on them and my 1 year old granddaughter was walking barefoot in the room and when my daughter pick her up notice her feet were black, I will never stay at This hotel againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Front staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Room decoration was old and worn but the A/C worked great. Patrons in the other rooms were quiet even though the hotel was booked solid. Breakfast was adequate. Hot coffee and a danish can't go wrong with that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Well, the room was fine. But their were rooms being renovated and although there were a lot of rooms available the lady working the counter decided to place us next door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "No smoking room... Yea right!"
Non smoking room smelled horrible. Left door open to ventilate. Bad experience. Never again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location was excellent. Unfortunately the bathtub had not been cleaned properly The a/c was extremely loud every time it kicked on which made it very difficult to get sleep. When I finally got up at dawn to turn it off, noise from construction in next lot started and front door didn't shut tightly which allowed noise in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Needs some major updates"
I booked this hotel because of its convenient location and because there was an extremely limited number of available hotels in this area. The cost I paid for the hotel is about 3-4x more than what it is worth. When I first walked into the room, the first thing I saw were all the lampshades were angled to the point where you could see the bulbs. Its […] not a big deal but thought it was a little unusual. The bathroom tiles and tub seem like they are about to fall apart. There was definitely an old smell associated with my room. There were two types of hair in my tub when I was going to use it for the first time. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was from the cleaning lady when she was cleaning the room. The parking lot could use a lot more lighting. I felt a little uneasy walking through the parking lot after the football game. The management could use some organization at their front desk. Guests do not need to have police reports about other hotel guests right in front of them while they are waiting to check in/out. The hotel location is great though. I hope that management gives this hotel the major upgrade it deserves. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Too expensive but great location"
Hard bed & old pillows, old looking, definitely needs updating. Bathroom smelled musty. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, but GREAT location if you're going to Aggieland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Service and location were great. Hotel rough, lighting in rooms poor, linens thin. Breakfast the minimum. Obviously on its way to demolition.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great little hotel"
This is a nice little hotel that didn't give me any problems. The room was clean although the hotel is a little older but still clean. The staff was courteous and the location was nice. It was the least expensive hotel around town and I would definitely go there again if I ever need to.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient for Game Day"
Stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest and closest to Kyle Field. The employees were very kind. The lobby was clean and the grounds were clean. There was plenty of parking. Beds were what I expected. The room was a non-smoking, but all I could smell was smoke.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenience to campus is the only plus"
I would rate this hotel a little better than camping out. The lobby is dark and smoky; the desk clerk was not warm and friendly. The hotel room DID have a microwave and mini-fridge, but the shampoo came in a mayonnaise type packet, the pillows were flat as could be and the bed had no give at all. Outside noise was very discernable, yet, once inside, […] no noise could be heard. The water pipes were loud when water from other units was running. It was like camping BUT we did have a roof over our heads and running water. The breakfast lacked anything substantive on the menu. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I have about this whole experience, is that the normal nightly rate for the King room is $64 + fees. BUT, for football weekends, they tag on an additional $100 for a rate of $170 + fees--for the additional $100/room, they could provide a higher quality shampoo and breakfast as well as brighten up the lobby a bit to make it more inviting. "good location, not so good hotel"
Close enough we could walk to campus and tailgate. Not a place I want to stay in for a long time though. kinda dirty and run down.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was a bit worried about the hotel when reading reviews, but the service was solid and the linens were clean. This is an OLD hotel, and drastically needs an upgrade, but it's tough to beat the location. And they did a nice job maintaining what they have and the AC was very cold (i don't think there was even an option to modulate the AC below arctic […] temps but it was 100 deg outside, so thats cool). I'd stay here again, but i'd probably bring my own toiletries. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel. I came to participate in the International Workshop at TAMU and found very comfortable and quiet place at that hotel. "Do Not Stay At This Hotel"
This was easily the worst motel I've ever stayed at. The room was just gross. It smelled like mold/mildew, the A/C was like standing behind a jet engine it was so loud, missing/loose tile on the floor of the bathroom, TV that didn't work. I felt like I needed to be deloused after leaving. I highly recommend that you do NOT stay at this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old stuff, poor maintenance"
We stay during our vacation trip and found this very strategic hotel. The bad thing is the bad maintenance. Damp carpet. Dirty carpet and floor. Dirty linens and the whole family feel itchy after lying down in the bed for an hour. Poor staff that do not know what they are doing ..For 107 usd per night this is bad..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convenient to Texas A &: M with reasonable rates. Older hotel that could use some modernizing and more breakfast choices, but service was good and beds were comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a good place to stay!"
The carpet looked new and beds were comfortable, but bathroom was not clean enough and only 4 things for breakfast: cereal, waffles, oatmeal and muffins. People next door came in at 2am screaming and small kids playing outside and yelling. Called desk to have them quiet down...nothing done. This went on until 4am! Will never stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
