Nice acomodations. However don't stay there if there is an event at the Maverik Center, hotel does not keep concert attendees from parking in the hotel guest parking area and if you come back from your business you wont find a parking spot at the hotel.

Where to start...I guess a good starting point would be that it was 104 F on the day we arrived. We arrived around 3 PM and got in our room pretty quickly. When we go up there, it was quite warm as the AC was not running. I turned it on and only got hot air out of it. After about 20 minutes the hot air was still coming out. I called the front desk and […] the guy at the front desk said “Yes, I don't think the air is working in that room. I'll bring up some fans." I asked to simply switch rooms and he said no other rooms were available. I will refer you back to being 104 F at this point. We went to dinner and a movie and returned around 10 PM and the room, even with two fans and the window open was unbearable. I went down to discuss the matter with the clerk. He stated all he could do was check me out and refund my money. I said that wasn't good enough and I had two small children and I wasn't about to go looking for a room at 10 PM in a strange city. He called over to the hotel next door and got us a room there, so here we were at 11 PM going to a "lower quality" hotel(nightly rate $59 versus the $98 we paid here) where it was just kind of nasty but at least it had air. He did say we could still have breakfast there and use the pool facilities. Very gracious of him…not. I would have preferred he refund my money and help me and my family carry our stuff to the new hotel and they could have charged us their rate, but I guess customer satisfaction isn’t a big concern. The hotel is worn and could use some updating. The spa appears dirty but it was real worn out. One of the features we booked this room was for the gym. It doesn't exist anymore and they do offer to use another gym but you have to drive to it...I think about 5 or 10 miles away. Convenient location to downtown, Great Salt Lake, and Ski resorts. Comfortable, clean and quiet, with helpful staff. Good breakfast with plenty of seating and the attendent keeps things clean and supplied. Very nice indoor pool and hottub. 2 out of 4 nights, I was unable to sleep until about 3 am. They rent rooms to the patrons of the local bars. they are too inebriated to drive home. The second night of my stay, a group came in around midnight and stayed in the room next to me. They were talking loud, going in and out and slamming doors. I complained the next morning and the gentleman […] at the desk said there was nothing he could do, their hands were tied. The last night of my 4 night stay was a Monday night and again a group came in around midnight and talked in the hallway, slammed doors, then went into the lobby and continued to talk loud until about 3 in the morning. I complaine the next morning and the lady at the desk said that her staff should know to kick those people out, that their hands aren't tied. She gave me no apology, I will not stay there again. When I am on vacation, I want to sleep and relax. They evidently care more about the little bit of money they make from these people and not about the comfort of the majority of the people in the hotel. Read more

Web site said they had cribs and they didn't. The hotel had a horrible smell. The room looked clean minus the smell but my 2yr old son was walking around w/out shoes on for 10 mins max and he feet were black. First of all the rooms look nothing like the pictures they show. The price said it included fridge and microwave....it doesn't. The tub wouldn't drain and the toilet leaked all over the floor. This was our second stay at this Country Inn & Suites. Everything was great except the pool was filthy and the spa was down right atrocious. The entire spa was covered in brown grime. The room was adequate and the rest of the stay was good.

The staff was extremely nice. It was nice to come in at almost anytime and have the smell of warm cookies to greet you and then you got to sample the goods. The hotel was somewhat "threadbare" but the beds were comfortable and the pillows were like clouds.

We were disappointed when after calling for a shuttle and being told it would be right there, it arrived 30 minutes later, full of groceries for the following morning's breakfast I'm sure. The driver seemed very friendly, but spoke loudly in his native language on his cell phone for the entire 10 minute drive to the hotel. The hot tub had been closed […] in December due to health violations and was still short of compliance to the required repairs. The gym, however, was clean and well supplied. The complimentary breakfast(s) were very nice, plenty of hot entrees as well as cold cereals and fruits. On one evening, we had a problem with our toilet. I went to the desk & asked for a plunger to clear the problem. I seriously expected the attendant to offer to send someone to remedy the problem but was instead, handed a plunger, but in all fairness, I DID ask for a plunger. The Country Inn and Suites was a nice place to stay, it was comfortable, had friendly service, and the full breakfast bar was fantastic. My only complaint was that the mattress was worn out and needed to be replaced. I have slept on better beds in much less expensive motels.

This is a basic hotel room with nothing special. It was clean and fairly comfortable, but was in need of some upgrading and repairs. The door to the bathroom had been poorly patched where someone had put a large hole in it. It looked like they slathered a bunch of patch compound on the door and did not bother to sand it smooth.

The hotel room was shabby and not very clean. Housekeeping didn't clean during our 2 day stay. The plumbing was horribly backed up in the sinks, shower and toilet. Despite the delicious continental breakfast, I would not recommend this hotel.
