Great service, great people. They didn't mind us off-roaders coming in muddy from nearby Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. They recommended a really good local Italian/pizza place (I forget the name, but it had a solid menu and great portion sizing!). The front desk even called to check in on us. The hotel was beautiful and clean. One disadvantage (which might be an advantage for people hoping for this) was that it was in a very tiny town. We were worried when the desk attendant informed us that the closest Wal-Mart of Giant was about a half an hour away. The hotel at first glance is very nice,clean and update. Our room was clean.the staff is friendly.I did feel a little isolated and farther from the parks then I wanted to be,not the hotels fault. Room did not look or smell clean. The beds were rumpled and I found long black hairs on the sheets. The room did not have any ventilalation and we were welcomed by a stale musty smell everytime we came back to the room. Everything fine, easy check in, gave me type of room I requested. Bed VERY comfortable, good coffee in the room. The hotel was full and lobby was packed for breakfast, but buffet was kept plentiful. This was a 2nd time for me here; will stay again if passing through.

hotel is easy to get to, a quick easy ride to Hershey Park. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the staff was helpful. At breakfast there were 2 or 3 people trying to keep up with all of the guests. Nice, clean and a great price. Nice staff, clean room, with soft big queen size beds and great breakfast. We were going to Hersey, but found the htoels in the area a bit over priced. So I looked outside of Hersey and found this wonderful hotel. It's about 40 minutes from the park (About 15 min extra drive over other hotels). We saved over $60 a night […] for a comparable hotel just a little closer to the park.. over 3 days and two rooms it came out to $360 saved. It was completely worth the extra little driving. Only gripe.. they have only one elevator and it is SLOW... Also not much in the way of amenities around the hotel, but as long as you plan ahead and eat in Hershey its not a problem. We were very pleased with this hotel. The building appeared new, and the room was small but very clean. Perfect for a overnight break from traveling. If we ever travel to this region again, I'd be sure to book this hotel in the future.

Everything was as expected, no WOW moments and no unpleasant experiences. The hotel is right off the freeway, very convenient. The town of Pine Grove is actually a couple of miles off the freeway and it has a couple of restaurants to choose from. There is a gas station and a truck stop next to the hotel.

My one week stay with Hampton Inn Pine Grove was great ! The staff were VERY friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was something I enjoyed very much. I also liked the 'office' room for guests to use and access internet because I did not bring my laptop. That was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. I wish I could have taken more time to […] use the pool because hardly anyone entered it. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the TV service -- it seemed rather basic and limited compared to what I have at home. Otherwise, my stay was great and I would definitely recommend staying with Hampton Inn. If I venture that way again - I will call them first. Read more
