The staff, where friendly and welcoming. Which did compensate for the the lack of cleanliness and condition of the Hotel. I felt the food was over priced per portion and could be improved. From a professionally point of view as a qualified chef the Menu need to be fresh, competitive and original. But was typical of the environment it was meant for. Biggest […] problem personally was the wifi and mobile connective within the Hotel itself which was very poor. The Gym was ok although some of the equipment could be updated in particular the cross trainers and rowing machine. I checked in and checked out within 1 hour, Owners dogs running wild, Bathrooms and corridors smelt very bad. Hovel, I wouldn't let my dog stay here.

Stayed at the Old Brewery whilest attending a wedding nearby - for what we needed (somewhere to lay our heads) it was ideal. Shower in the room was broken meaning it wouldnt hang on the wall - however the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, very good - lovely village setting, nearby shops. Hotel made special arrangement to enable me to return after 1.30 am - no keys for self entry given and no night porter/manager on call. Room smelt of Cat's presence, but not evidenced. Overall a bit tired and worn. Breakfast was fine and Breakfast staff very helpful and polite. Used for convenience of location - ok (just) for one night's stay

The Old Brewery House was only booked by us becouse of its location to an even being attended in the area, but I will book it again if staying in the area. The Hotel is very old fashioned, needs a good re-vamp, every thing is Ok but only average. Room ok, clean, bit on the small side, very hot, bathroom needed a complete make-over, very old and tired. Pool closed at 9.00pm, never even got to see it. Food very average, lack of parking outside, no mobile phone signals.

To be honest this hotel does need a little TLC, but our room was clean with spotless linen. The customer service was second to none - friendly, helpful, banter, all the staff were excellent - especially mother and daughter Maria & Lyndsey. This Hotel is a bit dated but had a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The building had loads of character and the rooms were ideal for our needs. We had lunch and breakfast which were both very good. The hotel is situated in a quite village location and I would recommend it to friends. Ideal location for our visit to Blickling Hall.

Shaby with style.........this ain't no travelodge. Floors creek as do the beds. Great staff , great bar and great breakfast. Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of action and the internet was no where to be found. Good fun though!

This is a pleasant market town hotel. Some of the decor is a bit run down but the service is good and breakfasts are excellent. Free to use swimming pool and gym facilities on the same site.

Half dead flowers at reception was not a good start. Staff were polite but not helpful. Hotel was shabby- would have taken very littel to have brightened it up!
