Floridays Orlando Resort is set on 20 acres of landscaped property in Orlando, Fla. SeaWorld and Lake Buena Vista are two miles away. The Walt Disney World Resort is four miles from the property. The resort fee includes shuttle service to nearby theme parks.
Resort Features.
This resort greets guests in a 22,000-square-foot welcome center with check-in facilities, a concierge and theme-park ticket sales. A restaurant offers casual dining and take-out options to eat poolside or in the guestrooms. The pool bar and grill serves tall, tropical drinks and lunch items. A marketplace sells groceries, toiletries, sundries and other essentials. Conference facilities are available, and the resort fee includes wireless Internet access throughout the complex. A fully equipped fitness center and electronic game room are available in the welcome center. A grand pool complex features a large lap pool with lounge area. A water-jet playscape and wading area for small children is located near the pool. A smaller, more private pool is offered in a separate location from the pool complex.
Guestrooms.
Two- and three-bedroom grand suites at the Floridays Orlando Resort feature separate living and dining areas with full kitchens. Both bedrooms and living rooms are equipped with 37-inch flat-panel HD plasma televisions. Elegant dining rooms feature solid wood and glass tables with six chairs and a decorative chandelier. All suites have balconies. Bathrooms include makeup mirrors and granite countertops, with master bathrooms featuring jetted tubs with separate showers. Complimentary cribs are offered.

We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.

This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.

Nice hotel grounds with nice southern california style architeture. The pool area is a really nice and it is heated! There's also multiple pool areas. We rented a 3 bedroom grand suite for a family of 5 and it was nice. I searched around alot before picking this place and it was one of few that had free WIFI and free shuttle service to and from the […] different theme parks. There's a starbucks on the grounds which is nice as well. The price was really reasonable. The one thing I didn't like was that they charged additional service fee and taxes at the end of the stay even though I booked through hotels.com and typically for my other hotels.com bookings the price I paid online was final and I didn't usually have additional charges upon checking out. Overall though, nice stay would go back again if we family or big group needing multiple rooms. Didn't get harrassed or bothered by anyone on the hotels ground for time share seminars or what not...which was nice...I was expecting to get harrassed after reading other reviews of nearby similar hotels/resorts. "Great Place--a little noisy though"
The rooms are really great, the staff is really great. Only have two gripes which are related to fellow guests, but we did stay over spring break: 1. People in the room below us were very noisy and up all night (at least until 4am) out on the balcony, laughing loudly, making a lot of noise in general. 2. For every day of our trip people would get up […] really early (like 5 or 6 am) go out to the pool and claim the chairs they planned to use for the day, then leave. "Feb. Vacation"

"great value & service"
We had a great time. My only complaint was that the matresses could have been of a better quality or maybe just newer. Not very comfortable, the kids gave no support at all. However, that being said each unit is privately owned. So the owner puts in the furniture and such. Still it was a great experiennce and a great trip.

Convenient to Sea World and Universal. We comfortabley fit 7 people in a three bedroom suite. Stay away from the Palm Court (only restaurant on site). Very slow service and orders not filled properly; but there a plenty of great places to eat close by.

I have been doing a lot of research on hotel-condos and this is one that is usually ranked high in Orlando. I went with my family and I can say I was very pleased. Similar to World Quest with better management. I stayed for 4 days with my husband and two children. We were extremely pleased with the size, cleanliness and nicely stocked kitchen. It was a great value! We were actually looking forward each night to coming back from Disney to spend relaxing time in our room and preparing our own meals and spending quiet time together. Would absolutely do this again. "Excellent Choice"
We just stayed 4 nights at Floridays. To sum it up - FABULOUS! We had a 3 bedroom unit (4 adults and an 11 year old) and could not have been happier! The hotel was in a good, quiet location. There was a Trolley stop right at the end of the driveway and the bellhops were happy to come and pick you up and take you to the pool or trolley stop if requested. […] The outlet mall was right around the corner, as well as Benihana, Carraba's, Longhorn Steakhouse, and other great restaurants. We had actually stopped by the hotel in May to get a "sneak-peak" at the rooms since we were planning on staying there in July. They were very pleasant and happy to show us around. The only down side (and it isn't the hotel's fault) is that the road that connects you to the Downtown Disney area (Vineland) gets VERY backed up at certain times. Other than that, totally awesome. We were at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon in 15 minutes. Great main pool and nice quiet pool a few buildings over. We stayed in Building F in the back but the small pool was right there and it was very quiet. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends. Read more

Overall nice resort. Rooms were large, staff friendly, pool great and good location. Biggest complaint we had is that the carpet in our condo was very dirty; if you walked on it your feet quickly became dirty. We stayed there for 4 days. Amenities are wonderful, including the kitchenette, however rooms are crowded. The biggest negative is there is no housekeeping. The maids do come in to replace the towels etc, but no cleaning, vacuuming.I dont We did not go to a resort hotel to clean our own rooms, when they already charge room fees. For the price paid it was not a bad resort. Beds and pillows were not the greatest, but I have slept on worse. It was nice to have in room laundry and a full kitchen. Pool area was OK. Hot tub was colder than the pool.
