"Fantastic hotel for family"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
All perfect! Huge suites, great staff, outstanding pool, close to everything.
"Nice place, good deal for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.
"nice comfotable room with updated decor"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
I enjoyed my stay but did not get to eat breakfast because they ran out of a lot of items an hour before they stopped serving it.
"Close to Universal/priced OK"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.

"Good resort for extended family stay"
Nice hotel grounds with nice southern california style architeture. The pool area is a really nice and it is heated! There's also multiple pool areas. We rented a 3 bedroom grand suite for a family of 5 and it was nice. I searched around alot before picking this place and it was one of few that had free WIFI and free shuttle service to and from the […] different theme parks. There's a starbucks on the grounds which is nice as well. The price was really reasonable. The one thing I didn't like was that they charged additional service fee and taxes at the end of the stay even though I booked through hotels.com and typically for my other hotels.com bookings the price I paid online was final and I didn't usually have additional charges upon checking out. Overall though, nice stay would go back again if we family or big group needing multiple rooms. Didn't get harrassed or bothered by anyone on the hotels ground for time share seminars or what not...which was nice...I was expecting to get harrassed after reading other reviews of nearby similar hotels/resorts. "Great Place--a little noisy though"
The rooms are really great, the staff is really great. Only have two gripes which are related to fellow guests, but we did stay over spring break: 1. People in the room below us were very noisy and up all night (at least until 4am) out on the balcony, laughing loudly, making a lot of noise in general. 2. For every day of our trip people would get up […] really early (like 5 or 6 am) go out to the pool and claim the chairs they planned to use for the day, then leave. Just about every day we visited the pool was completely full by 7am! Read more

"Holidays Orlando"
Excellent value. We came with six and stayed in a three bedroom. It was convenient and comfortable, clean and well appointed. the staff was accomodating and friendly. All in all we would return.
"awesome time"
We have stayed at Floridays for the last 3 years during our grandchildrens vacation, we just love the atmosphere, quality of the suites and the size, the pool is just awesome and the grandchildren just love it, we spent one day just at the pool. The staff is very welcoming, always helpful and always with a smile. We will definetly stay there again. […] The prices are also affordable for a family of our size. We rent the 3 bedroom suite, plenty of room for all 7 of us. Great place to enjoy and great location. Love it!!!!! Read more

"Highly recommend"
The location was great. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommendable!
we had an awesome stay and my kids enjoyed the hotel pool.....
"Across from Wet and Wild"
Not the Hilton but staff are very nice and rooms are clean. I was only planning on staying one night since I was not sure what to expect from such a cheap priced hotel and I ended up staying an extra night. Would go back again.
"Great place for a family"
We have stayed at Floridays twice in the past 3 years. Our kids love it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and the supermarket is just a few minutes away. The pool is heated and clean and there are plenty of poolside towels. The staff are helpful. The receptionist printed out our plane boarding passes for us at check […] out. I would definately stay there again. Read more
"great value & service"
We had a great time. My only complaint was that the matresses could have been of a better quality or maybe just newer. Not very comfortable, the kids gave no support at all. However, that being said each unit is privately owned. So the owner puts in the furniture and such. Still it was a great experiennce and a great trip.
"Awesome"
This hotel was very pleasant. Good price , clean, lots of ammentities . The washer and dryer was a major plus. I won't stay anywhere else next time !!! Very satisfied !!!
"The Floridays Resort Orlando very well located"
I like this hotel, it is located in a nice neighborhood and close to all the places we wanted to go
"Great price/convenience for 2bd"
Super clean, well appointed rooms. Shuttle service to the parks was a major plus and the schedule for the shuttles was adequately accomodating.
"Great Family Vacation Spot"
Convenient to Sea World and Universal. We comfortabley fit 7 people in a three bedroom suite. Stay away from the Palm Court (only restaurant on site). Very slow service and orders not filled properly; but there a plenty of great places to eat close by.

"Floridays Resort, great resort in the Orlando Area"
The Floridays Resort/Hotel was very clean and a great stay for us in the Orlando area. Second visit here and plan on staying here again while in the area.
"great place for families"
This is the perfect resort for travelling families. It looks more like a well furnished two bedroom apartment with all the amenities than a standard hotel room. I particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi in the master bathroom. Close to universal, the outlets, and downtown disney, it had a great location. Much more convenient if you are renting a car, but i […] do believe they provide shuttle service as well Read more
had 7 month old twins, so the kitchen and separate bedroom was nice.
"SURPRISE PET FEE!"
This is an excellent place for families to stay who are visiting one of the Orlando's theme parks. It is also dog friendly, with pooping areas, complete with bags for disposal. Only gripe is upon checkin, I was advised that there was a $200 pet fee. I think that is outrageous, but having driven for two days, i didn't have the energy to argue. Needless […] to say, I won't be back. Read more
"First time stay. Nice, clean and great Euro-decor"
I have been doing a lot of research on hotel-condos and this is one that is usually ranked high in Orlando. I went with my family and I can say I was very pleased. Similar to World Quest with better management. I liked the game room, cafe (need prices on items though, I hate to guess or be surprised at the register); the bar seemed nice as well as the […] concierge. Nice touches. I hated the speed bumps throughout the large lot--you will see why. The Keurig coffee machine in the kitchen added a nice, modern touch. You will feel right at home. A nice Pubix grocery store is two minutes away, as is the outstanding Premium Outlets Mall! You will also love the pool and sand/beach area for the kids. I would love to purchase one as a rental property, they are that nice, Read more

"Floridays resort, Orlando, FL"
I stayed for 4 days with my husband and two children. We were extremely pleased with the size, cleanliness and nicely stocked kitchen. It was a great value! We were actually looking forward each night to coming back from Disney to spend relaxing time in our room and preparing our own meals and spending quiet time together. Would absolutely do this again. […] There was a ceiling fan in each room and even one on the balcony which my husband really enjoyed. My husband is very picky about hotels and he LOVED this place! Read more

"Floridays Resort"
Very Spacious suites, a little out of the way but, they do have a free shuttle service to Universal Studios. I would stay again, thought it is a great value.
Great family resort.
"Excellent Choice"
We just stayed 4 nights at Floridays. To sum it up - FABULOUS! We had a 3 bedroom unit (4 adults and an 11 year old) and could not have been happier! The hotel was in a good, quiet location. There was a Trolley stop right at the end of the driveway and the bellhops were happy to come and pick you up and take you to the pool or trolley stop if requested. […] The outlet mall was right around the corner, as well as Benihana, Carraba's, Longhorn Steakhouse, and other great restaurants. We had actually stopped by the hotel in May to get a "sneak-peak" at the rooms since we were planning on staying there in July. They were very pleasant and happy to show us around. The only down side (and it isn't the hotel's fault) is that the road that connects you to the Downtown Disney area (Vineland) gets VERY backed up at certain times. Other than that, totally awesome. We were at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon in 15 minutes. Great main pool and nice quiet pool a few buildings over. We stayed in Building F in the back but the small pool was right there and it was very quiet. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends. Read more

"Perfect for us!!!"
Great hotel, very clean, nice, and spacious. Perfect for our family, great price.
"Floridays resort."
Overall nice resort. Rooms were large, staff friendly, pool great and good location. Biggest complaint we had is that the carpet in our condo was very dirty; if you walked on it your feet quickly became dirty. We were there when the cleaning lady came; all she did was make the beds and take out the garbage. I would probably look for another location […] next time. Read more
"Floridays, Orlando"
We stayed there for 4 days. Amenities are wonderful, including the kitchenette, however rooms are crowded. The biggest negative is there is no housekeeping. The maids do come in to replace the towels etc, but no cleaning, vacuuming.I dont We did not go to a resort hotel to clean our own rooms, when they already charge room fees. Especialy after a tiring […] day at the parks it is aweful to come back to find a room that is not vacuumed. However room service is great- economical and efficient. The swimming pool is great too. The location is good. Read more
"Floridays in Orlando"
We had a delightful time at this resort and the people were MORE than helpful. We would recommend it to all our friends. We did learn, however, that not all rooms are under the hotel's control...therefore, if something goes wrong with a room which is rented from an owner and not through the hotel, then they can't fix it, the owner has to. This information […] shed some light on a few of the reviews we read before our booking our room through hotels.com. Bottom line, we REALLY enjoyed this resort, it's location, and it's staff. "The floadays hotel in orlando"
I had a wonderful stay. Everone at the hotel were nice and very helpful. I cant wait till my next vacation!!
Great value. This was our second visit and we will be back.
"Floridays Resort"
For the price paid it was not a bad resort. Beds and pillows were not the greatest, but I have slept on worse. It was nice to have in room laundry and a full kitchen. Pool area was OK. Hot tub was colder than the pool.
"A Great Place!"
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Floridays resort. Crazy close to shopping, food and to the parks. There is a reason this place gets consistently high marks. Clean, quiet despite its location and really a bargain for the 2-bedroom suite that my family and I stayed in. We would likely not stay anywhere else now that we've been here. It has everything […] that we need. Read more
