We really enjoyed our stay here, from the location, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast with great selection and good coffee, and decent room size. Staying here you can walk to all the major sites.

The staff were all very nice! We had a few problems with the TV working. The hot water was not hot if others were showering at the same time. One of the light bulb fixtures were tapped on with scotch tape. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is around 3-4 blocks from The Duomo, right where you want to be. Wifi in the lobby. Free breakfast. A very nice hotel. I'd stay here again.

Excellent spot. Practically across the street from the Bargello. Super modern and comfortable. And after traveling from the States with a 19 month old and arriving in 98 degree heat, the air conditioning was a blessing. Room was a perfect size for a couple with a baby in a portable crib. They even had a portable crib for us to use. Bathroom was awesome. […] Shower was perfect. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Max at the front desk was exceptional. We needed help arranging a meeting with someone at our next destination in Montepulciano who didn't speak any English (and we no Italian). Max called her for us, looked up train and bus schedules and arranged the time and place. He then got us a taxi to the train station, told us what train and bus we needed to get on and sent us on our way. He even gave us a tip about buying train tickets from the Tabachi instead of waiting in the enormous line at the main ticket office. The only thing he left out was that we needed to validate those tickets so we were dinged 40 EU once on the train, but we probably could have figured that out on our own had we not been traveling with 4 suitcases, a port-a-crib and a baby. Ah, the joys of family traveling. All in all, we highly recommend it and would go back in a minute! Oh, they also made great restaurant recommendations. Read more

We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very friendly and the bar in the hotel is awesome. I ordered a dirty martini and they hand muddled olive juice! The shower box was very small but good pressure. AC worked great. The rooftop was closed which was very dissapointing. I don't normally take the time to fill out this type of follow up. However, in the case of the Borghese Palace Hotel in Florence, I must do so. It was in a word, fantastic! I have never been so favorably impressed with a hotel booking off the internet.

The Hotel doesn't have in-room wifi. It works near the front desk but you lose it as soon as you wander through the lobby. The staff were wrong about everything we asked them, even simple things like "what time is breakfast?". I'd rather they said "I don't know" vs giving bad information. The hot tub was empty. We also had a horrible first impression […] when there was nowhere to park to drop our bags off. We were dropping our bags off then had to return the rental car but when we stopped an attendant from the parking garage next door jumped in our car and drove it inot their garage and quickly parked 3 vehicles in front of it. They made me pay 20 Euro to get my car back and even though the Hotel said they knew the people who took my car, I should just pay them and get my car back. It was very sketchy. Read more

Borghese Palace Art Hotel is central to all the sites you want to see in Florence. The staff is more than friendly and not only booked my museum tours but went out of their way to accommodate my request for a late check-out. Although the room was small the location,staff and quality of service more than compensates.

Not only that but they worked on it directly above our room until after midnight each night dropping pipe fittings and tools and scurrying like mice. The location and service is ok, but we wouldn't stay there in another ocassion. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking, but our first room stinked like the previous guest smoked, luckily we were able to change rooms. The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbor sneaze. I was sadly dissapointed with this hotel! Of the 3 hotels I stayed at in Italy this was by far the worst...even thought it had the highest star rating! The bed in our room was hard, we only had one small pillow each and the air conditioning barely worked so we would spend the night rolling around trying to get comfortable. Sehr freundlicher Empfang & Service, ganzes Hotel sehr sauber. Perfekte Lage für Shopping und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Hotelausstattung wie auf den Bildern, sehr schön. Einzig im Badezimmer fehlt es an Ablagefläche aber auch kein Problem. Würden sofort wieder buchen. Schönes Frühstück!
