The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the only hotel on our trip where wifi worked in our guestroom. It was only a short walk to the city center but very convenient to the train and bus station and we were using Malaga as a center point for day trips.

Hotel is slightly out from the historic city but easily walked. Train from airport is less than 2 euro to Maria Zambrano station (2nd last stop) about a five minute walk to the hotel. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food. Range of food places available in the shopping centre at the station, or several local cafes nearby. We really liked Malaga city, felt like true Spain, not heavily tourist orientated (off season anyway). We stayed a week during carnival and had a great time. Would go back again. Read more

We stayed at this hotel for its convenience to the railway station. The sea-view rooms overlooked a dual-carriageway and the harbour! Our last night there was a wedding party which went on all-night (until 6am the next morning)! Room nice , big and clean. They even gave us an early check at no additional charge, and that was at 8:00am. Only flaw, the buffet breakfast could be a little cheaper, feel that it is overpriced considering prices in town.

This isn't an hotel for anyone who wants to walk out of the door into the fashionable bright lights. The waterfront location overlooks the still working docks rather than the fashionable promenade on the other side of the port. Despite this the interior of the hotel is remarkably calm and quiet. Budget on using some of what you save by staying here […] on a few cabs into and out of the centre of town. The upsides to the location are: (i) if you are travelling light it is only five minutes from the main RENFE railway station Málaga-María Zambrano (also served by the Cercanías local trains to Malaga airport) and; (ii) the hotel is only a ten minute walk from Playa Huellín - the unpretentious local beach - just follow the line of palm trees you can see from the entrance. For those not adventurous enought for a sea dip, there are good spa faciities in the hotel, with a generously sized pool in which you can actually swim. Read more

We stayed here for one night only but had a great stay! We were going onto a cruise ship and the hotel is ideally placed for this - you can even see the ships when they come in. My friend and I went for a long weekend, choosing this hotel as it appeared close to the airport and the Malaga town centre. The transfer from the airport to the hotel couldn't be easier by train. A 15 minute walk has you right in the middle of things. We were lucky that Malaga film festival was on and there was a definite buzz in the city because of this. We thought we might visit Cordoba over our 4 day stay, but there is more than enough to see in Malaga to keep you in the city for 4 or 5 days. THE HOTEL IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR THE TRAIN STATION PROVIDING EASY ACCESS FROM/TO THE AIRPORT. ALL STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. THE BREAKFAST WAS OF A DECENT STANDARD AND SELECTION. OUR PARTY OF 3 ADULTS BOOKED WELL IN ADVANCE OF OUR ARRIVAL DATE BUT THE ROOM WAS NOT ALREADY SET UP FOR 3 AND THE THIRD BED HAD TO BE TRANSFERRED IN WHICH DISAPPOINTINGLY WAS A 'PUT UP' FOLDING BED. WE WERE ABLE TO GET A TAXI FROM RECEPTION TO THE OLD TOWN AT NIGHT FOR A REASONABLE RATE. WE MADE USE OF THE POOL AND SPA FACILITIES WHICH WERE PLESANT ENOUGH EXCEPT THE JACUZZI WAS NOT WORKING. A good value hotel with great staff who were very polite and friendly. The first room we were offered was a sea facing room but extremely smokey so we were promptly offered another inward facing room which was fine. The lack of balcony was the only down side. We tried the rstaurant downstairs first but it was lacking in any atmosphere and the menu was exactly the same. There were uncleared tables even though it was empty. The hotel is on a busy junction and a 10 15 minute walk from the old town and the first part of the walk is not very attractive but at no point did we feel at risk. It was a great location for the main station which we used for a day trip to Cordoba. We used the pool , stema room and sauna one morning which was free. The pool was very cool despite the roof and felt in need of some tlc - especially the decking area. There were loungers around the pool but it was too cool to sit around.The sauna and steam room were good and the heated beds were lovely. Pool did not work during our whole stay of 6 nights and SPA area was unmanned and you need to call the front desk for them to switch on steam and sauna rooms, which sometimes takes several calls before they do it.
