We had a wonderful stay. The owners were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was superb and there is a roof top for relaxing or dining with a view of the ocean. Walking distance to Wharf and fine restaurants. Definitely would like to return.

excellent stay there despite old fashion room (but very clean) and equipment. Very friendly managers and team, funny breakfast at common room that allow discussions among invitees. easy parking just aside the rooms that are disposed in 3 small units. close distance/ walk to activities and thanks to hwy 101 close to mall with all kind of shops including food.

The management is very professional and welcoming. The rooms supply all your needs, fridge, aircon, microwave, plasma t.v. Updated bathroom. Could use better lighting in bathroom for mirror. Pool kept nice and clean. My room was on the ground floor near the office and the maintenance closet so it was a little noisy but overall it is quiet. Is a short walk to the boardwalk. We never used our car. This was the second time we were there. It's like a Hyundai. You can't beat the price for what you get.

"Homey and comfortable"
I chose the captain's inn because I had business in Moss Landing and wanted to save travel time and car rental, but found it to be altogether an enjoyable place to stay. I spent time in the common area reading in front of the gas log, time visiting with the hostess and other guests, and time sightseeing on foot. All very pleasant.
