"An Excellent Choice"

Stayed at the Moab Valley Inn for two nights this September while exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Staff were courteous and room very comfortable and quiet. Very well situated, with a big grocery store across the road, together with a microbrewery, serving excellent beer and food. Only downside for me was the crowded breakfast room, with no windows, as I'm claustrophobic. Would definitely stay here again.
"Great value, great location"

Moab is a great place to visit with The Arches and Canyonlands National Parks right on your doorstep. The Moab Valley Inn was our base for 2 nights and we were more than happy with our choice. The hotel has good amenities such as a pool, jacuzzi, exercise room and guest laundry. The rooms were very large and very well appointed.

Room was large, had a king suite. Breakfast is OK but spent a lot of time in line for the coffee maker. Good location with brewery and market across the street. Towels at pool very scratchy. Overall was clean and hotel staff friendly. A little pricey, but cheaper than other options in Moab in Sept.
"Fine, but a little expensive"

The rooms are quite spacious, service is okay, pool and jacuzzi are fine (towels provided), motel features a small excersize room, washing machines and a continental breakfast which in our opinion was fine. Helpful attendant, waffle irons and all te usual items in stock. The downside was the rather high price we paid for the rooms, not sure if thats the case for all moab accomodations. Most locations were fully booked by the time we booked the moab valley inn, which probably didnt help in our attempt to find a budget option.
"An alright stay for a higher price"

The accommodations were fine, nothing out of the ordinary hotel stay, staff was impersonal, not really welcoming. The continental breakfast was skimpy, food didn't seem to get refilled even though an attendant was right there

We stayed here in August 2014 on a two week national parks trip through Utah and Colorado. This was our first lodging stop and we drove straight away from Denver International Airport. The hotel was just a bit down from the main section of downtown Moab - close enough though to walk, which we did. We arrived (2 adults, 2 children) around 6pm and were staying for one night so I can't give a detailed review other then to say the location and lodging were fine. The room we had was quite spacious on the ground floor. The beds were much softer than we like so we did not get a great nights rest. Our daughter enjoyed the outdoor pool which she used the night we arrived. They do have a free continental breakfast but by the time we got there it was closed - early closure around 9:30 am. The location for the hotel was perfect since our main purpose of staying there was to be close to the main entrance of Arches National Park which was less then a 15 minute drive. We ate breakfast at a local restaurant where we met a guy who lived in the area for many, many areas. We asked him for a tip on where to hike off the beaten path and he provided us with a place that we went to and it was simply superb. Of course that put us off from spending as much time at Arches as we had hoped. I don't think we could have survived two nights at this hotel simply because of the beds and for no other reason - everything else was fine.
"Very nice hotel and room but housekeeper did minimal"

Our room was spacious (we had the added kitchette/sitting area) and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great and so was the pool. The only negative comment I have is regarding the housekeeper who took care of our room. When we arrived I went to put things into the refrigerator and found it was full of crumbs and had not been cleaned. Same with the microwave. Also the hotels we stayed in note that if you want towels changed to leave them on the floor. We did. We stayed for a few nights and the towels piled up on the floor but were never picked up. Also, I booked for four people in the room and it was only prepared for two (amenities and towels). By the time we got to the hotel each night it was late and we didn't want to be bothered but if I called the man who brought more towels and soap did so with a pleasant smile.

This is a spacious hotel (motel) on the Main Street on the southern end of Moab. There is plenty of free parking and free coffee from a room with free internet access on a computer with a printer connected. There is a very nice pool that is part indoors and part outdoors, plus a jacuzzi. The rooms are clean and spacious with a large fridge and a large TV with lots of good channels. Unfortunately the walls are very thin, so you hear lots of noise from the neighbouring rooms and the room above. Breakfast is provided free, but it isn't very good and there isn't enough room for all the guests, so we ended up paying for a breakfast nearby. Overall the stay depends on how busy the hotel is and whether the people rooms nearby are quiet or noisy, so only average overall.
"Room was fine but nothing more"

Service wasn't that good, breakfast was horrible, but the room is good and the location is accessible to town and opposite the Moab Brewery. I would recommend looking at other options in Moab with better value.

This is a great place to stay. Very biker friendly. The Moab Brewery is across the street and downtown is just blocks away.staff is excellent, rooms clean, beds comfy and all sorts of activities in the area.
