It was fine. I had read scary reviews about the place - but they are out of date. Rooms have been completely updated with new carpets, new furniture, new bathroom tile. Very comfortable and clean. Very good value for the price.

This is a nice, clean motel in an out of the way place. Not really in Pittsfield proper. That said, it was clean and the management was pleasant. It is quiet and the bathroom was recenlty remodeled.

This is the last time I go cheap. We stay in cheap places often and have a very high tolerance for not so great motels. But this one really earned its low rating. Used soap in the bathroom. The refrigerator didn't work, the hair dryer didn't work, the bottom five inches of the shower curtain were mildewed. The offfice was completely torn up. When I asked about a soda machine, I was directed to a small gate in the fence about 100 yards away and a gas station JIffy mart to buy the soda. All in all a terrible experience.

Overall a reasonable place to stay, and the rates are reasonable. BUt they ar currently undergoing renovations (May 2012) so the advertised breakfast was not available and I couldn't find the ice and vending machines. Apart from that no complaints.

It was bad--we walked into a war zone! The inn was being remodeled except for the one wing we stayed in. When we checked in it was through a "lobby" with plastic sheets for walls. After we checked in and actually got to our room there was no water. Returning to the office to say it was unacceptable--they told me to call Travelodge--who informed me that […] the hotel was no longer one of their properties. The hotel was under a lot of renovations during our stay. There were many empty rooms left open and furnishings in disarray. There were pallets of construction materials in the parking lot that were open and unorganized. It is no 4 Seasons, but it was clean, staff was helpful and place was convenient. Place looks like it was renovated, nice job. Just comfy, clean, nothing fance but didn't need fancy. Continental breakfast was just fine. Not overflowing, nothing wasteful, but complimentary - simple good choices.

Do not even think of going there! We were promised that all rooms had been renovated, only a minority has been, to date. What we got was an overpriced, dirty dump, the mattresses were stained and torn, the bed sheets were too small and did not fit, the carpets were stained as were the chairs. Yea, this was the least expensive hotel and that is exactly what I got. I had to buy bleach and airfreshner and had to clean the ENTIRE room myself! It was not good and I would NOT suggest ANYONE staying at this place. It was REAL BAD.

While the man at the desk was pleasant enough we almost thought the hotel was closed down by the site of it. He advised that they're in the process of updating the long since its past due stamp hotel. Regardless I couldn't in any good faith recommend this hotel to anyone.

We checked in and went to our room to discover the drain in the sink and the shower didn't work. They moved us to another room with a bathroom so dirty we couldn't use it. The toilet wasn't clean, and the shower was disgusting (the mat in the shower was particularly filthy). To be able to get a rate this low IN SEASON in the Berkshires is nice. Just don't expect the lap of luxury, or even comfort. ADEQUATE describes it fine, presuming you intend to be on the go, not spending much time at the property.

This hotel is Ok for the money. The first time we stayed we didn't get our wake up call. The 2nd time we stayed we noticed that the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet. Other than that, it was OK It was close to several places to eat and shop - very convenient.

We stayed here for one night after a concert at Tanglewood, and it was fine for the price. The night manager was very helpful to us when we wanted to change our room from smoking to a non-smoking room. The check-in area serves coffee and breakfast items in the morning.

Mildew on the ceiliing, filthy floors and walls. Clearly there is no pride taken at all in maintainence of this place. Disgusting fits the condition it is in. We did not actually see any rats, but my guess is that it was beneath their standards. Go elsewhere, this is not even up to developing country standards and they charged a huge fee.

This hotel looked a bit dated and run down from the outside, but the room was clean, with a marble bathroom. great shower. As I spent 2 weeks there I especially appreciated the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. At approximately half the cost of the hotel I had previously stayed at in North Adams, it was a great deal.

The outside of the hotel looks ragged. The room was recently remodeled and was a pleasant surprise. The on-sit manager at the time tried to play off that I had reserved a queen size room and he was upgrading me for free out of the kindness of his heart. This was until I produced my email reservation for a king size room. having to pay for a continental […] breakfast with no tables or chairs in the room the size of a closet should be fixed according to the manager at a later date. If your looking for a cheap room and clean this place is okay. Quick trip to the mall or allendale makes it a good spot. once you get past the exterior of the motel and the rooms are fairly nice. There was a leak in the bathroom, causing a terrible dampness in the room. The hotel was almost empty, yet when we asked to be moved to another room, we were told that the hotel was full and only the manager could make this decision. We spent two rather uncomfortable nights there.

We were in the new wing. Corner room with two windows. Nice. The only issues are the curtains billowed when the fan was on and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up because the counter top was too far over the toilet. Overall construction of the new wing was a bit shoddy but acceptable.

On the way to the room we passed a number of people who were not staying at the hotel but were hanging around. A party which spilled outside one of the rooms finally ended at 2am after a guest complained to the office. She was verbally abused when asked to turn the music down.
