The person who check us in was awful. he was rude. he also tried to tell me that the hotel had not been pre paid for but i knew it had been paid for through expedia.

Everything was great at the hotel. Very clean, good location and great service inside the hotel. The only problem I had was with the valet. They were very unorganized. I had to wait 30 min to over a hour everytime for my car. They couldn't find my car 2 separate occasions. If you need to be in and out of the hotel, this is not the place to stay. This place is too big to possibly merit a 5 star rating. The valet parking is a trainwreck. Each and every ancillary service and item is 4X as expensive as it should be. The assembledge in the lobby bar after 9 at night should be a permenent stake-out for the DEA or Miami Dade bunko. I would tell you that this hotel is average. It looks beautifully amazing - great features like Imac's in the rooms, however the service is lacking! I had an issue with the valet service on 2 occasions to the point that I had the hotel comp the valet fee. You should be able to get your car at anytime rather than the service simply not responding to […] your request expressing that they are busy. I would have understood that issue however the hotel was not busy. It was the Monday after Thanksgiving. Everyone had already headed home for the holidays. Very highly priced for what you get. No coffee in am without cash. Everybody has their hand out for tip. Valet service was too slow. Pools are beautiful but too much shade. Waiter at Le Cote was suberb. He really went out of his way. I believe his name was Edgy. Spa was very snooty and way overpriced. We won't be back

It was a beautiful resort. Not what you would think of a south beach hotel. Most friendly and helpful staff I have ever experience. I booked a delux room with Hotel.com but when I check in I was given a free upgade to a super sized delux suite. It had two bathrooms, full kitchen and livingroom.

The walls most have been made of paper as you could hear everything from the neighbors. There was long black hair in the shower, both I and my spouse are blond. Wallpaper, doors etc were scuffed and dirty. I am very disapointed as to the state of this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are amazing. The view is breathtaking and the pool and beach are both great. The staff are all models and the the club is hopping with all the beautiful people but that part of the hotel is far enough from the rest that you can avoid the noise if you want to. I have only three downsides to the hotel: First, if […] you want to participate in life on South Beach or town proper, the hotel isn't in easy walking distance. It's totally doable, but it's a hike. Second, the facilities at the resort are highly overpriced for what you get. My 12oz frozen concoction came in at $25 and dinner was easily 20-30% overpriced for what you get. Third, they charged me a $20 a night fee to use the facilities at the hotel. If you're going to charge a fee to use the facilities it's part of the rate. Charging a "fee" after you charged me for the room is just a way to make your nightly rate look better on these sites. Read more

TV would not hold channels. Bathroom tv was in poor condition, turned the power off everytime you changed chanels. Shower handle nearly fell off in my hand. Normally these are issues to not be concerned with, but you pay top dollar, shouldn't have to experience these normal maintenance issues.

We loved everything, gorgeous hotel, great restaurants, amazing pool. Rooms were not being cleaned as fast as we would have liked them too, and htat was the only thing wrong. Otherwise, would definitely recommend and stay again!!! Also, could have used a fridge and coffeemaker in the room, but not a dealbreaker.

Hotel is very nice but we had the car scratched one night the other night an ipod stolen from the locked glove compartment by the Valet people hotel management did not seem concerned at all and did nothing but apology.
