Bedrooms were fantastic. Unfortunately thats where ut starts and ends... Vibration of disco through the hotel ino early hours. Often no one on reception and passers by can go straight through to the bedroom area, which is a security concern.

Very pleased with the hotel. The small attention to detail made the stay very enjoyable and would recommend it to people wanting to stay in Edinburgh. A stones throw from Princes street and other attractions. Staff warm and friendly.

Had a couple of issues in the first room and asked to move, staff were very helpful and was moved to next room in a couple of minutes. Fantastic location, small but comfortable rooms. Would stay again.

Great hotel. Very convient location just off Princess St & within waking distance of everywhere in the city. Only complaint is that the lighting was very low both in the rooms and around the hotel in general but not bad enough to put us off staying there again...

I was very pleasantly surprised by Hudson Hotel. It's at very convenient location so I expected a shabby place for the price I paid, but it was totally worth it. Very nice room, extremely clean, nicely designed and furnished, friendly stuff, internet access...I highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel... and staff. The reception ladies could not have been nicer... only negative was parking... and it was a bit difficult to unload luggage as it is on a busy street and our driving was not the best.

Really nice boutique hotel furnished well with a bar adjoining in the centre of Edinburgh. Would definately stay again.

The Hudson was a gem of a place, very trendy and very stylish. It was excellent value and I would definitely go back.

Lovely hotel, I would definately stay again. Only complaint is that the bathroom door did not close properly and the heating in the foyer makes it unbearable to stay in. Brilliant location, brilliant staff and brilliant hotel.

We didn't arrive until after 10pm and couldn't get through to the hotel to notify them. When we arrived I advised that the phone wasn't working and the receptionist shrugged his shoulders. The phones in the rooms weren't working either so we couldn't order room service. There is a nightclub in the hotel and we could hear the music very clearly in our rooms until 3am. On the positive side the location was great and the pub was good. Don't stay here is you want a quiet weekend.

When we arrived at the hotel, reception was fine and the booking in great. In the room, the things that should have been present weren't. No bath robes, no shower gel in the shower, and a very carefully opened and empty pack of pringles in the mini bar. I mentioned all of the above to reception, expecting the erors corrected during the day that were were out of the room, but when we arrived back for the second night, no change. Reception was great on the second night even giving us a complementary glass of wine in the bar, but I'm not sure if it compensated for the noise out of the back of the hotel when the nightclub disgorges its clients at 3am or whenever.

Walking distance to everything, all the sites, city transportation and it was delightful having a restaurant right in the hotel. Great wine list! I must say I wish even though the hotel is embracing the whole "going green" thing that our sheets were changed more frequently and the floors cleaned more. All and all its a hip contemport place that I would visit again.

Our room was very small and unfortunately the lift was not working. We were on the 4th floor. I had also read that we would have air condtioning and there was none. The hotel is new and quite fashionable with wood floors and modern furnishings, but we would nrvre go back.

Dejligt hotel, lidt mørke værelser men ellers rigtig fint

La camera era molto piccola e non aveva l'aria condizionata mentre aprendo la finestra si sentivano tutti i rumori della strada a cominicare dalle grida degli ubriachi alle 4 del mattino, altrimeni bisognava rassegnarsi a soffocare. In generale l'albergo può appartenere al massimo alla categoria 3 stelle. L'unica cosa positiva è la poszione centrale. Last but not least, abbiamo chiesto di svegliarci alle 3 la notte della partenza e nessuna ci ha svegliato...

Hotellet ligger ypperlig plassert i sentrum. Kort vei til Edinburgh Castle og gamlebyen. Delikate nyoppussede rom med stor og god dobbeltseng. Gratis trådløst internetttilgang. Kan absolutt anbefales.

Hotellet ligger godt - der er kun 100 meter til stoppestedet for expresbussen mod lufthavnen. Hyggeligt bar og restaurant, pæne værelser

Rigtig god beliggenhed i New Town med 50 m til Princes St. Fin og venlig betjening. Ret tjekket indretning.

Gangavstand til gamlebyen, Grassmarked, Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, utallige pub'er og restauranter. Litt slapp service på hotellet, men veldig fine rom!

Hotellet er udmærket med en undtagelse. Fredag og lørdag aften har en musikklub tilholdssted på hotellet. Det medfører meget høj musik fra kælderen til de overliggende etager frem til kl. 0300 om morgenen. Meget lidt kundevenligt. Men man modtog min klage meget høfligt og lovede at se på sagen. Men jeg har ikke lyst til at satse på det i fremtiden.

Kleines Zimmer "Executive Room", Bett o.k., Couch unter Fenster, Runder Tisch am Zimmereingang (Ohne Stühle-hätten keinen Platz gehabt), Keine Garderobenhaken, Schiebetür in Wandschrank ausgehängt, Fenster kaum zu öffnen - keine Frischluft. Schreibtischlampe defekt - war nach einem Tag noch nicht repariert. Treppenhaus fleckig und schmutzig. Bar, Service und Essen einwandfrei.

Kamer ziet er prima uit. Prima bed, hoewel het voor mij wel iets langer had gemogen. Verder prima service.
