Gianluca and Valerio at the front desk give five star service and attention at this three star hotel a convenient 10 minute walk to Termini Central Train/Metro station and a 7minute walk to the Metro station at Piazza della Repubblica. I relied on TripAdvisor in making my reservation for a week-long stay and a return visit at the end of my extended vacation in Italy. The rooms were clean and very suitable for my stay. One thing needed attention: Carpet in the main building on the stairways and hallways needed attention. It is a distraction from the otherwise well-maintained and attended-to condition of the guest rooms. Complimentary WiFi was helpful in staying in touch with folks back home via applications on my WiFi enabled iPhone and checking on various details of my travel around Italy. Read more

The hotel was nice, nicer when compared to other 3 star hotels in the area. The room was bigger. The location is about 15 mins walk to the station, which is acceptable. The hotel is close to the Republic Square. Free wifi was very fast. You can also browse for free from the computer located in the lobby. The breakfast was ok. The staff was nice and helpful. The only down side could be that they still use the actual keys instead of the key cards, but you can leave your key at the reception and won't have to carry along. In conclusion, this is a nice little hotel if you are looking at the Termini area. Some people prefer to take a subway ride from termini and book hotels in other parts of Rome, say near the Spanish Steps (Spagna) or Trevi Fountain, which is good, but if you want to be at the walking distance from Termini, I guess this hotel is pretty good. The hotel is ideally located near the main station as well as a metro and a bus line. Although it is not a big hotel and thus it is rather difficult to find at first, it's got a good list of amenity (complimentary wireless in rooms, breakfast, ...) and was nice for a family of two adults and two kids. Of course don't expect a luxury of 4 or 5 star hotel […] or that of a big chain hotel; nevertheless, it indeed provides what all 3-star hotels should provide. The staff were excellent! The breakfast was very good. The beds were fine but the room was small and had only one desk chair(no other chairs). We would have enjoyed luggage holders. This was one of the most disgusting hotels I've stayed in. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the Rome Central Train Station. Firstly, we were in a separate part of the hotel across the street from the main hotel. The elevator to get to the rooms was so small that barely two people can fit in it. It was an ancient elevator where […] you have to close two sets of doors for it to work. We were so afraid it would break in the middle and we will be stranded in it with no one to call for help. Second, the towels were so dirty and smelly, also the bed spreads were disgusting with spots and marks on them. I removed the pillow cases before sleeping and put them on the floor, the next day the same pillow cases were on the our pillows. They never vacuumed the floors. It was so dusty our socks were dark brown. I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels close by to the termini station. Read more

We choose this hotel due to its distance to Metro and Termini bus station. Is about 10 mins walk from Termini all on main streets. We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in late March 2011. While the room was not very large, it was adequate for a 3 star hotel; the bathroom was reasonably sized and both the bathroom and bedroom / living area were very clean and cared for. The daily maid service was thorough, all bath towels were replenished each day, and any complaints or issues we […] had were attended to almost immediately. The bed was very comfortable, although our double bed consisted of two twins that had been put together to comprise a double; this wasn't a problem since after spending 10 hours a day sight seeing around Rome, it was easy to fall asleep. The elevator worked, although it was small. The breakfast was pleantiful: salami, ham, cheese, fresh rolls and croisants, toast, jams and spreads, boiled eggs, yogurt, puddings, cereal, different juices, milk and coffee. The front desk was courteous. The one difficulty we encountered with the room were the outlets: most of them were worn out and so we were only able to use one of the three outlets to recharge our camera battery and cell phones. The hotel is located a short 5 min. walk to Termini and Piazza Republicca metro stops, with plenty of local pizzerias / restaurants / trattorias in the immediate neighborhood. Also, there is an outdoor market on the side street about 20 yards from the hotel where you can get fresh fruit, and a local water sprout that we used to fill up our water bottles each day. Stained coverlette, used soap and shampoo in tub and sink, used plastic drinking cups in bath, and towels that didn't look as though they had been laundered. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and reliable - when they said they would do something for us, they did. And reception was manned 24 hours - useful for late arrivals and early morning calls.
