A good hotel in a very convenient location in Berlin Mitte; via the Metro station (150 yards) 2 stations to Alexanderplatz, 3 stations to Gendarmenmarkt (frequent and fast). The hotel is in good state, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, service is good.

This hotel is awesome. The wifi was free (unlimited number of devices) and the signal strength was really good. We followed a recommendation to ask for a courtyard facing room, and our room was extremely quiet. Super high ceilings make the room feel spacious. The breakfast is fantastic. I'm a fan of breakfasts that have hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, […] etc.) and different types of jam/bread. The service was excellent as well; they even printed out our boarding passes for us upon check out. Location was great, a lot of what we wanted to see was on the red line (U2) and this hotel is within a stone's throw to 2 stops. Bottom line: don't get put off by the Wall Street theme - it's really muted compared to my original expectations, and the value for money is hard to beat! Read more

To save some money, you can use the TXL Berlin Bus from Tegel Airport to Alexanderplatz Station and then take the U Bahn to Markishes Museum. Hotel was a little ways from everything except for Museum Island. Since this was the purpose of our trip and we really don't mind walking to Checkpoint Charlie, etc ;it was no big deal. We were staying in park plaza hotel for 4 nights - it was great! The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet... We will definitely go back on our next visit to Berlin. The location is very convenient - in a quiet neighborhood, next to an underground station (2 min from alexanderplatz and kudam...).

Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin is one of those places that has on the face of it a lot going for it. A great location right next to a U Bahn station, good rates and big modern fun rooms. The lobby is nothing special and the bar area kind of ugly in that cold Ikea modern way. The elevator is decidedly slow. The hotel is a converted old courtyard building […] and should somehow be very charming and cozy: but isn't. Or at least I didn't find it to be. My three grievances are, in no particular order: they offer: "free Internet" as a marketing ploy, when you book the room. OK free Internet is a good thing and something essential to me as I am always uploading pictures and online or streaming videos that I might want to post, etc. I won't stay in a hotel if internet isn't included. Well what you quickly discover when you log onto the the free Internet is that it is basic Internet. So you really can't stream videos and to upload 4 pictures it took 15 minutes and if you uploaded too many you got a warning message saying you have reached your data quota (or some such thing). And to get proper actual working Internet it was 15 Euro a day ($20.36). Which the first several times I tried to buy it I was not able to as I kept getting error messages. And when I asked the front desk they said: sorry we don't control that it is done by an outside company so you have to call them. I did. They didn't understand the error message either, but in the end when I paid for it on my credit card instead of to my room it worked fine. And was very quick and allowed me to do everything I needed. So, not a hotel for business. Here is another example of why this isn't a hotel to stay in if you need to get anything done: A friend bought me a "pay as you go phone" so I would save some money while in Germany and as a birthday present. She brought it by on the afternoon of the 11th. The front desk of the hotel made no effort what so ever to contact me to say: hey you have something at the front desk. Read more

Hotel was nothing like Wallstreet. Room is relatively small. But high ceiling was a plus. TV Screen was only 20 inch wide. Carpet was never cleaned. Dust and Hair. Found pubic hair on the bed sheet first day checked in. Bed seemed like an old spring bed--extremely uncomfortable.

Close to most everything by walking. Building is a modern hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. Parking is poor on the street and requires paying extra for the garage. Bakeries and grocery just out the back door. Free wireless worked great.

Overall, this was a very good hotel, but a little out of the mainstream with very few close by restaurants. The Hotel was quite nice but the room was small and wifi was spotty. There was a charge for using the hotel computer. Service was excellent and the entire staff pleasant and friendly.

The Park Plaza Berlin is very well located near a subway station and around a very good neighbourhood. The Wi-Fi is free (kinda slow...) and my room was pretty big. Problems? Some employees. They're kinda rude (when I find out that I had no Breakfast included in my reservation, a front desk gave me 1 - and only 1 - discount coupon for breakfast, forgetting […] that were 2 people on the room). And they're not so good on local information: when I asked about a supermarket (for my breakfast needs), one said it was too far, at Alexanderplatz. It's very conveniently situated for all the attractions of central Berlin, either on foot or using the U2 underground line which passes right next to the hotel. Overall very good experience. My room was very clean and light with a modern decor and a surprisingly spacious bathroom for European standards. Markisches Museum U-Bahn station is at the hotel door. That's on the U2 line that crosses Berlin east-west and it's very convenient to visit the main tourist sites. Hotel is very nice and contemporary with a Wall Street theme. Bar downstairs and other amenities throughout the hotel has a trendy feel. The only drawback is it seemed a bit isolated from the main action and you will always need to catch a cab, train or bus to get there.

Park Plaza Wallstreet came out highly recommended on a couple of searches so thought I'd give it a go for a 3 night break with my girlfriend. Being situated directly inbetween the Spittelmarkt and Markische Museum Underground stops merely 100m either side, it could not be easier to find. On arrival the staff were more than accommodating, speaking perfect […] English and describing the booking in every detail. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff had a smile whatever time of day or night. There is a little building work going on next door but in no way did we notice it once inside. In the room, the layout was simple but effective, however, make sure you are comfortable with your travel partner as the bathroom walls are frosted glass and not brilliantly sound proof. Be aware of the shower doors which don't meet in the middle as they have a 3-4" gap meaning the floor may become soaked if care isn't taken. The bed appeared to have been 2 singles pushed together with large single duvets instead of a double/king duvet in the space of a double/king bed set up. Do not let any of these points put you off though, it is a very clean, tidy, modern, impressive 4* and very good value for money. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus, the quality and quantity of food were outstanding and later check-outs aren't a problem if required. On the whole the Wallstreet is a fantastic hotel worthy of it's 4*. We stayed here for 2 nights and wanted to pack as much sightseeing in as possible. The hotel is ideally situated for accessing all parts of Berlin. It is close to all the central attractions and has easy access to the U-Bahn and lines to the airport.
