"Perfect Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The Westin was perfect! Stayed in a suite with friends for a weekend away. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The location is perfect for walking and dining in the old port and totally accessible if you want to spend time downtown or further North. No complaints!

Price at the restaurant was high ei $16.00 for glass of house wine. Gym under reno and card for other facility didn't work

"Perfection in Old Montreal"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
We only stayed the one night at Place d'Armes hotel, on our way back to Vancouver and then home, but we wished we had more time, and will return. The hotel staff were both welcoming and efficient (not a combination one often finds), and the hotel itself was immaculate in every respect. The room was flawless in its design, the bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to feel like one is clambering from a bean-bag, upon rising, (as I found in so many hotels in the States!) I particularly appreciated that the designers had eschewed a bath/shower combination in the large bathroom, and installed a large, stone-clad, walk-in shower with a beautiful glass shower screen, instead. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Montreal by foot, which was just what we wanted to do, since we only had the one night. When we checked out, we left our luggage with Place D'Armes, mentioned when we would return for our flight and, when we did, a taxi was already awaiting us. Immaculate service.

"Nice, Clean Hotel, close to Metro"
The hotel was nice and room was clean. Breakfast was a small buffet that was included in the morning. Hotel was conveniently located near the Metro. Hotel is in a sketchy area. It seems to be the only open business on the street, others are all boarded up. (We didn't have any problems though). Hotel parking "inside" is scary. It is an underground parking […] lot and EXTREMELY tight to manuever in and out of (we drive a Nissan Murano). Also, it is only one lane so cars can be trying to come out as you are going in. I would suggest parking and then taking public transportation places. We drove one night to Old Montreal and we spent 45 minutes looking for a parking spot. Streets are also very narrow and mostly one ways. Metro was easy to navigate and get around on. Can get a 3 day pass for $16. Read more

"Hotel Les Suites Labelle"
I found this hotel to be exactly what I needed for my vacation. The location was very convenient to things in general; the place was not fancy but was fine for me and more than adequate. I really enjoyed the breakfast every morning - a nice selection of food items. And being able to use the computers was very helpful for me. I would definitely stay […] here again if I have a chance. "Hotel Les Suite Labelle."
The hotel is new and very clean. Excellent food and the staff are very courteous and professional.
"Newly renovated"
Just completed. Stayed for a few nights. Clean, practical and a luxury for the price.
"Very clean and large room for the price"
The room was much larger than expected, with a full kitchenette, large bathroom, and nice layout. Most importantly, the whole hotel was very clean. The buffet breakfast was a nice bonus as well. The parking garage was difficult to get in and out of, even with a small car, but parking was cheap. Overall, a great deal, and I would stay there again.
"great place"
great hotel for the $$ - clean - newly renovated rooms - breakfast included
"Nice Location and worthy for $$"
overall, it's great. Parking underground is narrow both entrance and spot but not a big deal. hot breakfast was nice too.
"Good deal"
The room and the hotel itself were quite good. There was a small kitchen with pots and dishes plus free internet. The bed was very comfy and I'd stay there again if I travel to Montreal. Very clean and no bed bugs or any issues like that. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but just a few blocks away from nice part of town. I don't recommend it for […] a female traveling alone. All in all it was a good deal for the price and the local ongoing rates. Read more
"Worked well for a quick stay"
We stayed Hotel Les Suites Labelle one night because of it was convenient to the main bus terminal. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast which was included in our rate. Room was clean and quiet. Overall, no complaints.
"Convenient, quite downtown Montreal hotel"
I stayed at Hotel les Suites La Belle during a recent conference that was held in Downtown Montreal. Our cabbie wasn't familiar with this hotel but it was easy to find: one block north of the Berri Avenue & Rue St. Catherine intersection. An easy walk to Vieux Montreal, Chinatown, downtown convention district. Use the metro stop Berri UQAM (practically […] next door) to get anywhere else. Kitchenette was convenient, but we ate the hearty continental breakfast instead. Best of all: this hotel cost USD $40 less than the conference hotel and had free WiFi in the rooms, which the conference hotel lacked. It's about a 30 minute walk up Rue St. Catherine to Rue University, where the bigger chain hotels seem to be located. Read more
"No control of AC"
Overall the okay was a okat place to stay for the price. I major complaint is the fact that they shout off the AC during the fall( even though the temp is above 75 some days) . We woke up many morning very hot and uncomfortable when we call to complain about it we were told that no AC is allow during the Fall season
"Las suittes hotel montreal"

"Hotel Les Suites Labelle"
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the kitchenette available with a microwave, refridgerator, stove, and sink. They even provided a few pots and pans, dishes, glasses, a corkscrew, and hot pads. The hotel was close to the down town area, so it was within walking distance to several attractions. The subway station was about […] a 2 minute walk, so that was helpful as well. My only hesitation was that St. Catherine street was right nearby, which is a fun place to walk around. However, there are several sex shops, seedy places, and porn shops along that street, so if that makes you uncomfortable it's not the greatest location. It did feel safe at most times though. "Great deal!"
We recently stayed here for Jazz Fest and had a wonderful time. Clean room with a kitchenette, great breakfast, and really nice hotel staff. Totally recommend for anyone looking for a good deal with all of the basics taken care of. Located in the Latin Quarter near The Village and a 10 minute walk to Place des Arts (Jazz Fest area).
"Great location and price indeed"
The hotel is located in a great location!! 2 blocks to the metro, give you a good start to travel in Montreal easily and not have to worry about transportation. Garage parking is secure, but do not recommend for cars bigger than a compact. You will have a hard time moving you car in and out of the garage. Room is sort of outdated, but functional with […] kitchenette. Pillows and bed sheets/linens need upgrades! Breakfast is good with selections to get you started your day. Overall, I had good experience staying at this hotel. Just need a little upgrade for the bed and linens. Read more

"Large room, good location"
This hotel is 10 minute walk from old Montreal, near metro and bus lines. Room was large with mini eat-in kitchen, dinnerware, flatware. Breakfast was excellent for a comp breakfast. Parking was underground and there was not an elevator-exit by stairs only. Overall, it was fine for us.

If you looking for hotel in Montrel this one is out of my list I will never try to use this hotel, it may be good for someone who do not care about confort and Location. Labelle should be very good but not quite.
"Best bang for your buck (if you have a car)"
After doing MUCH research i decided to choose this hotel.. and I was definitely happy with my choice. Here is my breakdown of it: Location: The surrounding area isnt the best, but for the few days I was there, I was never haseled or bothered. In terms of location to all the big sites, then def worth it. Its right next to the orange/green lines which […] will get you anywhere you need. And its a 15 minute walk to Old Montreal. Parking: The hotel has parking for 15 bucks a day, which is def cheaper than some other hotels, and this lot is indoors, and password protected. I definitely recommend this place if you have a car that you dont want to worry about for the time that you are up there. Hotel comfort: The staff was very helpful in telling us where to go and how to get there. The breakfest was pretty good (only complaint was the cressents seemed old). The room was really cozy but the beds were a little hard. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The price may be high if you are flying in and looking for a cheap place, but if you have a car and do not want to worry about it, then its definitely the best bang for your buck Read more

"Overall good stay"
Though not fancy by any means, I was very pleased with the Hotel Les Suites Labelle. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great but the street that it is on is not the nicest. Overall the experience was very good considering the price paid. The hotel appeared very clean and well-maintained.
"NOT worth the money"
room was small & outdated as well. $25 is charged if dishes are dirty. really dumpy & dingy & NOT worth the money at all. will NOT recommend to others.

"Hotel les suites labelle"
This hotel is located on a small, one way street that was hard to access. It is a very plain hotel, small elevators, "exercise room" VERY small and awkward. The outdoor terrasse was clean and nice but not much of a view from there. Use a drinking glass in the room, you have to wash it yourself or they will charge you $25.00 fee. If my first experience […] of montreal was staying here, I would be dissapointed. Read more

"good stay for price."
the neighborhood is pretty sketchy but if you can look past that. The surronding area is perfect location to be in..a couple minutes away from everything the metro is not even a block away.. the only thing that me and my friends were not impressed about was the neighborhood. But hey all in all and excellent stay.. super helpful staff.
"Great value - especially for the location"
Very close to St Catherine and the Metro. Free breakfast was much better than expected. Staff was very friendly. TV reception was poor, but the kitchenette was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

"Good Service, clean new rooms, but Rue Labelle is a dump"
The Hotel/Suites were a great bargain but the actual location was a dump. The Bums an Beggars are everywhere. This part of Monteal should be called "Piss Town". Next time I will stay further west on St. Catherine. It costs more but it'll be worth it. I feel sorry for the hotel, if the cops did their job and cleaned up the scum from the area, it really […] could be a great place to stay. Read more

Great room for the money. Making up the room is a little late in the day however, but not a major problem.

"Great room for the money"
Although the room is a little small it is good enough especially there is a kitchen. What I like most is the convenience of being close to the Metro station and the restaurants.
