Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was free and very good. We weren't expecting the world, but were disappointed at the look of many spots in the building. Our room carpeting was very stained, the building stairway smelled dank, and the pool rail was wrapped in duct tape.

Location was excellent, hotel was comfortable, room was spacious, no lingering smells. Was extremely satisfied with the hotel. There were stains on carpet, and they should be replaced, but they were not dirty. The pool was a bit small, but it was just me and 2 other people, so it was fine for us. The breakfast was very good. There were a lot of options and the staff was attentive to our needs as well as the cleanliness of the breakfast area. Would definitely stay again if returning to this area.

Only here for one night and it was what I hoped it would be. Clean quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the employees where helpful and polite. I would stay here again when traveling through that area.

Had enough space for the kids and was small enough to easily get in/out of with little kids. Everything was clean and quiet and had easy parking. We stayed at a fancier one in St. Louis before, but we had to get a parking pass and park in a parking deck and the hotel was big so there was lots more walking. This Comfort Suites was a breeze with the kids. Much better memories have stuck with me here.

The staff was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. We were in the St Louis area to see a Cardinals game and were able to park our car and take the Metro right to the stadium. Good Breakfast. Overall a great find. I'll be back.

We had some safety and health concerns and the manager passed the blame to her staff. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful. For a pleasant hotel chain she totally disrespected the brand name. Honestly, she needs help in performing her duties if she stays in that position.

Where do I start? We wanted to stay at this place in Fairview Hts because it was a little closer to St. Louis. My sister and I were doing the 1000 stair climb for American Lung Assoc. Comfort Suites looked like a great place. We booked in plenty of time and were told our room would be held. Check in was at 4 we got there a little after the time you are allowed to check in. Our rooms were given to someone else because the Comfort Suites was over booked. They sent us to Sleep Inn in O'Fallon, further away from St. Louis. The girl put us in the wrong room. At 5:30 am a train went through and the whistle was being blown all the way through town. Come to find out the track was right next to Sleep Inn. We had to climb 1000 stairs which started in a few hours. We needed to sleep til at least 6:30 am. But no.......awakened by the whistle on the train and people slamming doors and up and down the hall til very late. We told the front desk and they asked us what room number....how in the world were we to know what room number these loud obnoxious people were from. So I called Comfort Suites the guy at the desk said some other guy would call me at 8 am Sunday morning. We really wanted a different hotel then the Sleep Inn. No one ever called back. When I called Sleep Inn Saturday morning that desk person kept saying " I'm sorry you had a bad experience." and chucked saying there were a group of "sports" people in town and were probably excited. So that means they can keep us awake?

Staff and Management was very rude because they say other guests had destroyed a room and everyone was frustrated. Which has nothing to do with me. Fold up bed was broken, refrigerator wasn't getting cold,phone was broken and computer desk chair was broken. I only asked for trash to be pulled and extra towels and got the third degree. Spend to much for poor and rude services. Felt very uncomfortable and dissatisfied.

The room was a good value, very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable which we are finding is a rare thing anymore. Staff was courteous and genuine. The breakfast was everything that we needed and the location is convenient to just about everything in the St. Louis metro area.

We ended up staying 2 nights because of snow. This was an awesome experience in spite of having 7 kids and no restaurants that were open. The manager on duty opened up the dining room area and allowed guests to make waffles, etc. parking area was shoveled off really well by the time we left. We rented 3 rooms and the discounted price made it affordable.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel for a birthday sleepover for my 9 year old sister. It was a great experience. The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff at check-in where quick and explained amenities. The pool was wonderful, warm and large enough for the girls to play in. I had a room with two double beds and it was huge, with an extra sitting area. The breakfast was hot and plentiful and the checkout staff was great. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Rugs had some visible stains and appeared dirty. We were put in a handicapped room and the bathroom was just OK. There were visible cracks, etc in floor and around shower (probably due to age). It was clean but did smell like disinfectant. Beds were comforable and clean - no problems there. Service was fine -staff attentive and friendly.

We can overlook the dated decor and furnishings but cleanliness is another matter. The carpet in our room was badly stained, there were chunks of grout missing around the shower area and there were clumps of hair on the bathroom floor. We tried accessing the fitness room in the morning when it was supposed to be open, we waited at the front desk for over ten minutes but could not get anyone to come to the desk. We finally found someone in a back room off the dining area to open it. Overall a disappointing experience.

Room was average. Stay was ok until we went to breakfast. Staff lady in the dining room brought my child to tears over not knowing how to dispense the waffle batter! Yelled at us several times and then instead of helping us she proceded to dish up her own plate of food and yelled again on her way into the kitchen. Very uncomfortable having a person like that watching us. Did not spend money on a hotel stay to have my children treated like that. Dissatisfied, left in a hurry.

Friendly staff (even for a 11:30 p.m. check-in), clean room, comfortable bed, and pleasantly surprising breakfast (for the room rate) with even two kinds of waffle batter and waffle irons with timers that worked. The lady in charge of the breakfast room is very friendly and works her butt off. People coming to St.Louis from the east and looking for a decent rate and safe, pleasant place to stay won't go wrong with this place!

We found a bug in our room, mold on the ceiling above the tub, breakfast choices were not what we have experienced in other hotels, carpet in room had stains and overall appearance of hotel was mildly shabby. It needs renovation and a good cleaning crew. I was talked into booking a room with a jaquzzi; it was not senior citizen friendly. Bathroom faucet had no water pressure.

Some friends and I came up for shopping and a Cards game. Could not have asked for a nicer economy hotel experience. The hotel was clean and well decorated and in a safe, convenient location for dining, shopping, and The Cards game. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were cordial and helpful.
