The hotel was in a great location and within walking distance of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The rooms were decent. A little older overall, but pretty clean. The shower had great pressure, but wasn't designed very well so it got water all over the floor. Would definitely stay there again, especially for the price.

Good hotel, you get what you paid. I mean it's clean and has some nice features. The main problem is due to its location (it is close to the Prime Minister house) so there is no taxi, bus or metro near, because it's forbidden, so you've got to walk at least 15 mins to the closest metro station,

This hotel is a historic hotel located very close to Tienamin square and the Forbidden City. For this, the hotel scores points. But the front desk staff was untrained at their jobs and did not speak English. Also the hotel room had no heat! We stayed there in the end of October, so it already gets very cold there at night. There were some molds in the bathroom. Everything in the room had rates written on it, and it was all over priced. Overall nice place but I had hard time explaining things to the staff in English. I have a beard so all the staff people kept starring at it and mumbling in Chinese and chuckling aswell but that's all right, I don't really care haha.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my mother and I didn't find the location particularly good...its a couple of blocs away from the metro station and tiananmen square but around the hotel there were no coffee shop or restaurant and since for us breakfast was not included we found it pretty inconvenient (even because if then u want to have a breakfast […] in the hotel they will charge u 70kuai per person!). the hotel was in a nice part of Beijing, altho it was a older hotel it was clean and comfortable and it was 10mins walk to the underground where you could then go anywhere relitively cheap. It was only 10mins walk to Tiamannen Square and 20min to Wanfurling street which was a good shopping and eating streets.

Hotel is well located and is in a very safe area just a short walk to main attractions the underground train is about a ten minute walk away and is very cheep and easy to get arround.The only let down is the rooms need a good clean it has tea making facilitiesbut you only get 2 tea bags per day and no coffee but the staff were helpfull.

平成24年8月末に利用しました。８階です。 　まずトイレの上蓋に髪の毛がおちていました。シャワーの際、バスタブの側面から水漏れがあり、バスフロアーがびしょ濡れでした。 　また、友人の部屋（同じ８階）では、部屋に戻ると、ベッドが横倒しになって中国語で書かれた手書きのメッセージが置かれていました。中国語のため、何を書いているのかわかりません。雨が降り、天井からの雨漏りが発生し、ベッドが使えないので…と書いているようです。夜中に発覚したため、旅行社を通じフロントに連絡し、部屋を交換したのですが、フロントからやってきた２名が嫌そうな顔で荷物を運ぶ姿が印象的でした。 　中国で多くのホテルに宿泊してきましたが、部屋・サービス供に最低でした。

Da vi tjekkede ud næste morgen, var det nogle fortravlede medarbejder, der havde et meget, meget ringe engelsk.

This hotel was extremely drirty! It smelled urin in the bathroom and the carpet was full of shit. The bathroom was strangely filled with condoms and antiseptic serviets. The staff were not friendly, and it was hard to get a taxi from the reception. The hotel reception didnteven have maps in the reception. I would not recommend this hotel.
