Modern, spotlessly clean hotel in excellent location. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the absence of free internet.

For the price this hotel was fantastic value for money. The location was perfect for the beach and just a short walk from Magaluf's bars and clubs. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the beach. The surrounding area has plenty of bars and restaurants. A big positive is it's a pretty chilled out and quiet area at night. July 2011 Just back from holidays and already we are looking at going back next year. Staff initially appeared cold but warmed through the week, they were very helpful. Accommodation was compact but had everything required, rooms were cleaned regularly. We spent a week at Sol Lunamar in May 2011. It's just what we expected from a 3 star self catering holiday. The room was fairly basically furnished, but clean. Air con worked well (€15 deposit for the remote). Kitchen facilities were very basic, but we never intended doing much cooking, just used the crockery and cutlery for cold meals. Location is pretty good - the gate behind the pool leads directly to shops and restauarants, with the beach just a few yards further. No noise from outside at night time, although you might have to get used to the fridge and air con if you're a light sleeper. But it's only a short walk from the main strip of late night bars and clubs if that's what you're after. Palmanova/Magaluf is your typical "Blackpool with sun" type of resort, but there are plenty of opportunities to see more traditional Majorca. The capital Palma is definitely worth a visit, very reminiscent of Barcelona. And the train journey to Soller is lovely. Read more

We recently had a 4 night break at these apartments. The accommodation was clean and well maintained and the staff were very efficient. Kitchen only had two hobs, which were slow because of the ampage difference from the UK so difficult to cook anything too elaborate. We cooked porridge on the hob each morning and made use of the toaster and kettle […] to make toast and tea. Our other meals were cold meats and salads or sandwich based. This is adequate when on holiday in a climate which is hotter than England. The sleeping arangement took us by surprise, as they were bed settees, set out against two walls. We moved the furniture around to allow us to put the two settees together to form a double bed and then replaced them before we vacated. Perfectly adequate and comfortable. A further surprise for us was English television without having to pay. It was brilliant. I would return here, no questions asked, if the price was right. Read more

L'ideale per chi vuole divertirsi la sera con discoteche, pub, alcool a volontà a prezzi più che accettabili, tutti a poco più di 5 minuti dall'hotel. Il personale è molto disponibile, la piscina sempre pulita e la birra media del bar a 2€, unica pecca: letti un po' scomodi.

Huone ei ollut mitenkään erityisen äänieristetty, vaan käytäviltä kuului ääntä sekä aamulla jos nukkui pitkään, saattoi allasalueella soitettavaan musiikkiin herätä. Ellers en veldig hyggelig opplevelse med hyggelig personale med forståelse for at ungdommer vil feste. Fantastisk personale! Efter at være blevet efterladt af sin såkaldte kammerat, uden pas eller penge, sørgede hotellets personale for aftensmad, fodboldkamp og højt humør. Hotellet ligger også væk fra larm og støj men stadig tæt på hvor det hele sker. Kan varmt anbefales.

Sol Lunamar är inte det flottaste hotellet i Palma Nova/Magaluf. Men..det är oklanderligt rent och snyggt. Lunamar har ett otroligt bra läge bara 50 meter från stranden. Hotellet är så lugnt att man absolut inte tror att det har ett läge mitt i nöjescentrum. Hotellets entre ligger på "baksidan" av nöjesstråket, en kodad port på andra sidan och vips, […] så är du i nölesvimmlet. Personalen är glad, trevlig och tillmötesgående. Fin pool med barnbassäng, solstolar som tyvärr bokas snabbt på morgonen. Rummen är helt ok utifrån den låga kostnaden. PlattTV och luftkonditionering (Tack för det !) Lite hårda madrasser.. We spent the last week of July in Sol Lunamar. We chose it because it was an inexpensive apartment hotel and had a pool. The room was a bit disappointing, being quite bare and small. We had a tiny TV with 1-10 visible channels. On the upside, the air conditioning worked as expected and the bathroom was okay. The kitchen corner contained quite the bare […] minimum but did ok as such. Hands down the best things in the hotel were the pool area and the location. The arc-shaped pool consisted of a kids pool (40cm deep) and of the main pool (1,3-1,6m or so). During the warmest days the sunloungers were often all reserved but that was maybe resolved by waiting for a while. The hotel is located somewhat in between of Palma Nova and Magaluf, with a short walking distance to both. Magaluf was crazily crowded during the nights so I think it's probably better to stay in the Palma Nova side. Beaches of Palma Nova are also just a short walk away. The hotel was obviously a preferred spot for groups of 20 year old party people, most likely because of the same reasons as we chose it for. As a result of this, there was quite a lot of noise in the evenings and during the night - they quietened down at some point but not necessarily before midnight or so. It wasn't that big of an issue for us as we're only 26 too but I would assume that older people would've been more disturbed. In conclusion, Sol Magaluf was an inexpensive no-frills apartment hotel with good location and nice pool but noisy during the evenings. Read more

Vi var en ungdomsgjeng som bodde på Sol Luamar. Hotellet passet veldig godt for oss, Siden vi var ute etter et rolig hotell der det gikk an å slappe av. Gang avstand til det meste, og ligger ikke så langt fra stranda heller, ca 3 min å gå. Resepsjonistene var veldig hjelpsomme og veldig greie! Det eneste som var et lite minus, var sengene. Dei var veldig […] harde og putene veldig tynne. Det endte med at vi brettet putene. Hotellet passer for dei fleste, men ikke for dei som er ute etter fest og fyll. tres bien situé, hotel correcte, bien pour un mois de juin mais je pense qu'en plein été les nuits doivent-être agitées. Seul point faible l'hôtel et la ville n'est remplie que d'anglais, qui ne font même pas l'effort de parler espagnol.... quel dommage...

Hotellet var veldig bra, men vi var litt uheldig med plasseringen, ut mot en veldig bråkete og trafikert gate. Fine små leiligheter og flott bassengområde. Kunne gjerne bodd der igjen, men ville helst ha rom mot bassengområdet.

Its a very simple but well function hotell. As long as you expect to get a hotell what you pay for this is a really good hotell. Very nice staff and clean. Book it if you want a cheap and good hotell. Its like 15 min walk to pubs in Magaluf. We also left our luggade for 4 days when we took a flight to Barcelona and that was no problem at all.

Nice hotel just 2 min. walk to Palmanova beach. The hotel has a nice swimming pool area. The room is OK, has a small kitchen and three separate beds. It is not luxury, but very good for a hotel at this price. Very good value for money. Public free parking in the street outside the hotel.

jeg synes at hotellet er helt ok. Der er kun et par små minuser, i restuangen spiller de for høj musik så man ikke har lyst til at sidde der. I min mit rejse bevis står der at der er 3 tvilling senge , det ord findes ikke på dansk, og der var kun 2 senge vi skulle da heller ikke bruge flere. Ellers var alt iorden.
