Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.see all hotels in New York

"Difficult to Find But So Worth the Trouble"
There was no sign or indication that there was a hotel at 25 W. 51st Street in New York, just a private club. Our taxi driver circled the block twice. He then went inside of 25 W. and the concierge assured him that it was, in fact, the Manhattan Centre Hotel. Once checked in and settled, the rooms were very clean, accomodating and comfortable. We had […] three children under the age of 10 so the kitchenette and coffee maker were a blessing. The view from the 7th floor cafe was excellent. We could walk everywhere and saw everything - Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Bill's Bar & Burger, Deli's and Bakeries, the windows on 5th Avenue and The Today Show filming. "Large 1 BR Suite - Great location"
We had a 1 BR suite (not with a separate bedroom, but a long room, divided into sleeping, working and eating areas) with a small kitchenette (fridge and microwave, a few dishes, small sink). The room was huge by NYC standards for the price! The location is excellent - walk to theater, shopping, Central Park, Rockefeller Center. Not fancy, but clean. […] Great, firm mattress. All in all, an incredible value for a large room in the city! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was friendly & efficient. We were early, so they stored our luggage while we went shopping. Upon our return, it was a matter of minutes to receive our keys & our luggage arrived soon after we got to our room. The location was fantastic! We had tickets to see Wicked & Gershwin Theatre was just a few blocks away, along with plenty of shopping, […] Times Square, & several restaurants to choose from. The room was clean. We didn't have any issues with waiting too long for an elevator. Unfortunately, the bed was rock hard & extremely uncomfortable. We barely slept. New mattresses & I'd definitely stay here again, but until then, I will look elsewhere. There are so many choices... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
You could not find a better location...directly across from Rockefeller Plaza and within a block of 5th Avenue. What I did not like about the hotel was the smallness of the reception area. It did not efficiently accommodate all of the travelers registering and leaving the hotel. Also, our room was on the second floor and next to the employee lounge; […] so not only did we hear the street noises, we heard the employees coming in early in the morning talking and laughing loudly. I do not begrudge the employees their right to spend their off-duty time as they wish, it's just not conducive to a quiet stay when you are in the room immediately next to the lounge. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, but will request a room on an upper floor and on a side away from 51st Avenue. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Good business hotel and convenient to mid town withoutnall thebcrowds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is close to many attractions.Could not ask for better proximity to Times Square,Broad Way Central Park and more. All forms of transportation readily available. Fun to see the changes each day at Radio City. Will stay here again!Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was rather small for the three of us; towels and amenities were a minimum amount. Very friendly and helpful front desk and concierge service. Room was very clean. Very efficient with our bags and any questions we had. We felt welcome and well taken care of.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay near Rockefeller Center"
The hotel was perfectly located for us right across from Radio City Music Hall, and although the lobby was tiny, the room was quite adequate for a mid town hotel. And the shower was the terrific! The staff was helpful, bringing us extra towels when ours were missing upon arrival. Too bad the balcony dining was closed due to a wedding....Genuine Expedia guest review
"Manhattan Centre Hotel"
the hotel is quite nice, clean and the staff was very efficient and helpful. The room is a decent size for NYC. The only issue was the temperature control.. It was a tad chilly and I had a hard time adjusting it. To be fair, it was always so late that I did not call for help so it's possibly quite workable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Walking distance to must-see sights and trains"
The rooms are indeed small but well appointed, comfy bed and a desk, with free Wi-fi. Breakfast at restaurant is pretty awful, don't do it. Went to show at Radio City, across the street, walked to event in Times Square, most trains a half a block away. While NYC has the best water in the world, I liked the free re-fillable water bottles provided (7th […] floor) with cold water, great for walking around time! Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Elevators slow and dreadful, fortunately I was on the 2nd floor and frequently just used the stairs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

You will not be disappointed. Super location, great deli's next door. Clean room with everything you need.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very small room, kitchen sized TV, parking was 3blocks away....if you have to spend $100 more to book a Marriot then maybe this works for you, but besides location this place doesn't offer much else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The superior room that we stayed in was tastefully decorated, bright, and clean. The quality of service from the staff was excellent. Location was great. However on the other hand we were not impressed with the cramped lobby. It was woefully inadequate in size as more than two families (party of 4 or more) with luggages will fill the entire lobby. A […] simple amenity that we all take for granted is an in room safe which was not offered by this hotel. To store anything of value, a safety deposit box (not large enough to fit a laptop) is available in a locked room in the lobby area. Access is inconvenient. It is understandable for safety reasons that one of the two front desk personnel be the other key holder. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect understated hotel in a great location."
Our stay at the hotel was great. The only complaint would be that in room 611 you can hear the water running down the pipes all night, especially being right under the restaurant. Made it kind of hard to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here"
Tiny, cramped room. Unhelpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a nice hotel with a great location. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and nicely appointed. The staff was helpful. I would stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
We had a wonderful experience.Hotel staff was very friendly. Our a/c didn't work at first but the front desk sent someone to fix it immediately. We walked to Time Square,Broadway shows and were right across the street from the Today show and Radio City. We were not crazy about the elevator system but since we were on the 3rd floor we used the stairs. […] Resturant was also wonderful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, comfortable"
Great location - walk to Times Square, Central Park, Broadway; centrally located for subway to get everywhere else. A few rough points, like slow / overloaded elevators at peak times, and having to check 5 different floors looking for promised water bottles. But the room was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, comfortable, convenient"
Would stay here again, great location, small but well appointed room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had no cell signal and wireless was spotty at best. Room was small but nice. TV was small but good quality.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable stay in heart of Manhattan"
I am a business traveler and the hotel is perfect for me.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Times Square"
The hotel was very nice, but our bathroom door was broke so we had to close it partway, and then open the closet door to overlap the bathroom sliding door just to get alittle privacy. And, our bathroom sink was badly clogged ,so you could only use alittle water at a time so it could drain out each time you used it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable, clean, well-located"
It's a very comfortable hotel with reasonably sized rooms. My only complaint is the elevator is very slow. I stayed for 4 nights with no issues.Genuine Expedia guest review
I didn't have space to keep my luggage in the room -- I had to leave those at the floow...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff could have been friendlier -- I asked several questions during my stay, and while some of the employees were pleasant, others seemed a little put off that I was bothering them. I don't find this appropriate in the hospitality industry. While I appreciated the hotel's desire to go "green," I did not appreciate that they turned off the A/C […] in our room while we were out. I came to my room after a long, hot day expecting to feel cooled off, and I was left with a little note card that said the air had been turned OFF completely in my absence. "convenient but uncomfortable"
Great customer service. Staff went above and beyond to help but we had to move 3 times. First room had no view and I was staying for 5 days. We were moved to a room with a view the next day. However the room's air conditioner did not work which made for a very unpleasant night. They "fixed" it the next day. That night was fine. However the following […] night it went out again and they had to move us into yet another room. That typhoon was smaller and had an view. Overall, couldn't beat the convenience of the location and the nice staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Great Location"
Across the street from Rockefeller Center, between 5th & 6th. Nice clean room with a small fridge & microwave. I plan on staying there again. Nice free wi-fi and computers with printer so you can print out those boarding passes for the return trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had no complaints except there was no mini frIdge in the room. Overall a great place to stay. Consistent with other club quarters, small rooms that are quiet and clean. Great location for times square. The outside terrace club dining looks down on radio city and st Patrick's cathedral!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great week in NYC. In town for work and fun."
Easy walking to Times Square and to all the broadway shows. Wifi worked just fine and we could print out work related docs on printer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This place was great!"
I loved this hotel!! It was close to so many things in the city. Im definitely staying here the next time I am in town. Not a single complaint.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location good, staff not so much"
Only two elevators in a twenty some story building one of which was out of order during 4 out of 6 days of the stay. Toilet seat would not stay up and had to be held during use. Lobby staff was somewhat rude in their dealings with guests. When they were asked if anything could be done about a problem, they responded as if it were a big problem or not […] possible. The location is good and makes up for some of the shortfalls. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place at a good price"
Great hotel at a good price for the area. The only negative thing was that only one of the two elevators were working so each elevator trip took approximately 5 min. They had a repairman fix it but within half a day it was out of order again. Other than that it was great. I'd stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It really is a jewel!"
Location was great! We were there for a concert at the Today show. It was quiet and comfortable. The living room was well equipped and comfy. The free water cooler with bottles was a very nice perk. There was someone working and treating you in the lobby 24 hours a day.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for me"
The location and type of room I had was perfect for me. I requested a smaller room, to save money, and it was completely adequate for me, since I was traveling alone. The location was right in the middle of several locations I intended to visit. The restaurant was very good, and I especially enjoyed eating out on the deck.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the room was a little small but nice, but we would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Location Location Location!! :)"
This was our first trip to NY. We had no idea the best area to stay in, so we asked questions and did research. You could not pick a better area than this one. So convenient to everything we wanted. Within walking distance to Times Square, Broadway, 5th Ave. shopping, Rockafeller Center, Central Park, more places to eat than you can imagine, Hop on […] Hop off tour bus, which will take you all over the city to anywhere you can't walk to. The Hotel itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable although our room was very small. We weren't in the room enough for that to be an issue. There were always people around in the evenings so we never felt unsafe walking back at night. Mostly other tourists and business professionals are the only people we saw in the area. Always felt very safe. We loved NY and will always choose this hotel! Also people seemed to enjoy The Terrace Club but we did not bring proper clothes to wear. We will next time.
