The location is perfect, right across the street from the Valporetto (the water bus). Eugenio, the concierge is the best I have experienced in any hotel in any country. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Coffee and tea any time of day, letting me use the hotel computer (several times), arranging a free motorboat ride to the glass works in Murano,marking a map with the number of the valporetto to take (including the times for when we had to leave early to get to the airport, and just being one of the nicest people I have ever met! The room was spacious and immaculate with three windows, one overlooking the Grand Canal. The bathroom was spotless and well lit, even had a towel warmer for the towels, the heating control was well appreciated since it snowed the day we arrived! With the Valporetto station just across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Venice. About 20 minutes from the bus station at Pont Roma on the 5.1 to the hotel. Or take the line 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal on the way to the hotel. I love Lido since one doesn't have to cross bridges or walk a long way to the hotel and there are many restaurant choices within a 2 block area.

Very clean and comfortable room and for the Venezia area it was pretty big. Not far from the stazione......and a great little Osteria, Hosteria Vite Rossa, is about 150m away............delicious. Super Price at the hotel!

Franco, family and staff are some of the most gracious and helpful. Free airport pickup from Treviso and next morning transport to the train station was... the greatest service they could provide for us. Other hotels indicated they would do the same, but upon calling, they would either charge a large fee, or else hotel pick up would only be from Marco Polo and not Treviso. Airport pickup and next morning transport to the train station puts this hotel at the top of my Venice area hotel list. Plus, on the way to the station, they even stopped at the shop to help us buy our train ticket. Such superb service is rare and certainly appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to eat and drink. By American standards, I would have preferred a cooler room, but temperatures were fine and this would not deter me from staying there again. In fact, when I return to this area, this will be the first hotel where I will want to book a room. Hotels.com says that this hotel is 12 miles, when really is 22ml; there is not train station since the town of roncade is farmland and the hotel offers no shuttle. Taxi is E30 and the bus is limited and almost the same price for two people. The ownwer of the hotel took pity of us and the next day took us to the station. On the other hand, the garden […] in this hotel is amazing and is a nice place to relax before you keep traveling trough Italy. But if time is short, find something closer to the train station. The hotel was very comfortable and had a large car park area. Our rooms were large and had all that we needed. Breakfast was very good and the staff, especially Franco, the owner was very helpful. We found it a superb location for the Treviso/Venice/Mestre area and will return to it whenever we revisit our friends and family there. It was a great recommendation. One […] thing to advise though....I am not sure if it has a lift, so you might like to check if anyone particularly needs one, although the rooms seem to be only on the first floor level. Отель очень понравился - в тихом уютном месте, с отличным садом, рядом парк с оленями, удобные номера - мы брали номер на 4 человек, это оказалось два двухместных номера, соединенных дверью. Вполне приличные ужины и завтраки. Мы остановились на одну ночь при поездке с Лигурийского побережья в Венецию. Нам очень понравился отель.

Hotel sieht aus wie Gasthaus, Zimmer schwer in Ordnung, nette Parkumgebung, hätten um 22h Ankunftszeit fast auf unser Abendessen verzichten müssen. Dette hotellet er et hyggelig familiedrevet hotell. Det ligger midt på landsbygda, så belag deg på å bruke buss for å komme deg til evt.butikker eller til Treviso. Det er ca 3 km til nærmeste tettsted med butikk. Taxi er omtrent umulig å oppdrive. Det er ikke lang vei for å komme seg til Venezia. Du må da inn til Treviso, og ta buss derfra (evt.tog). […] Maten på hotellet var ikke noe å skryte av. Dyrt og veldig lite smakfult. Servicen var helt grei, og hotellet rent og pent.
