Canmore Crossing essentially offers condominium units on a basis of single nights or more. This property does not have a front desk for check-in so be prepared for the hassle of having a 6 page document faxed or e-mailed to you for signature. This includes supplying a credit card for $500 security deposit, agreeing to indemnify Bellstar Hotels & Resorts, […] and more. This must be faxed back before they supply you with the access codes for the parking garage, elevator and room. Our situation was complicated by the fact that we were not contacted until the Friday evening prior to the Monday we left on our trip. For whatever reason, e-mails never came through. The paperwork ultimately had to be faxed to another hotel we planned to check into so we could sign it and fax it back. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium was nice, spacious and included a kitchen with range & full size refrigerator. It was also furnished with a large screen TV and gas grill on the patio. This unit does not have air conditioning and it was quite hot when we arrived. By opening all the windows it finally cooled down to a tolerable level by the time we turned in for the evening. It is very secure, requiring a security code to enter the parking garage, go up the elevator, go down the elevator, enter the room. This was a good value, just understand the logistics of completing the process of acquiring the codes and getting into the room. Read more

The condo setting was perfect for our family of 5 adults. (We rented two units) We had room for privacy, room for group time, meals could be made and the rooftop hot tub was icing on the cake.

This hotel/condo was in a great location (next to grocery stores/liquer stores/pubs, short walk to town center). It was convenient getting in and out of the hotel. Check in and out was very convenient having codes to deal with only. The only complaint would be the access back from the hot tubs - we had to go from the roof all the way back down the […] stairwell to the main floor and then back up to the 3rd floor for our room. This hotel is in a great location and the suite (3-bedroom, 2-bathroom) was spacious. The housekeeping, however, was awful and included such lovely surprises as blood on the bedsheets (which did not appear to be washed) and mold in the coffee maker. The suite furnishing, etc. also appears to be totally dependent on owner preference. Of the three (tiny) […] TVs in the suite, two had integrated VHS machines (for those of you who are too young to know what those are, they were the precursors of DVD players). The one DVD player did not work. Pot lids were mismatched, dishes were chipped, etc. Hotel staff were off-site and took just under 24 hours to respond to our request for more supplies. Wonderful apartment, just a few minutes walk into the village. We are a couple and my mum - all of whom were very pleased with the accommodation. Lots of space, excellent temperature control, great kitchen facilities and brilliant views set in a quiet but safe feeling area I strongly recommend you contact them in Canmore directly before departing for […] your trip. This is because you need a code to use the lift or stairs to the apartment and a further code for the apartment itself. They also want forms signing before they will provide the codes. We don't have a scanner, and so could not print the forms, sign them, scan them in and then email back to the company, this meant us having to first go to Canmore lodges to sort this out (about 10 -15 mins walk from Canmore crossing apartments) In all this was the best accommodation I have ever used and this is saying a lot because we are seasoned travelers - book it now but just be aware of the need to contact them prier to arrival (the phone number was provided on our confirmation when we booked with Expedia) Read more

Nice place and very spacious. It was a little strange not to have a front desk to check in or check out. There were also a few things broken in the room like the window in the master bedroom did not work so we could not close it properly. But overall we had a wonderful time and would book this place agin.

This 2 bedroom loft condo was very nice. Beautiful view of the Rockies right from the front window while you drink your morning coffee. There was lots of room for our family of 5. The pictures online lead us to believe that the hotel would accommodate 6 adults-not 3 couples. Also, the loft was just one room with a bed, bath tub, sink, and toilet (no walls for the bathroom) - we could see the t.p. roll standing in the living/dining room below. there is no front desk which makes getting into the room a lot of work, you had tofax numerious papers to get the codes you need to get into th room. there is also a seperate code for the elevator that u need to punch in everytime u use it. plus the door on the second stairway doesnt open so if there is a fire you cant actually leave that way (guess […] your useing the window!) we never found the parking spot in the parkade and had to park in the store parking lot. the train came by every hour and shook the whole room. there was a window that had no way of closing in the room and the other bedroom had no way to turn off the heat. the bed was sooooooo old it smelled and was extreamly bumpy, the best part tho.....there is a toilet at the topof the stairs..u can take a poop and still see all your guests!!!(no door) Read more

The location of this condo/hotel was very good. Secure underground parking was a plus. On arrival, my friend was doing a bed bug check and we were very disappointed to find the linen on the downstairs bed had not been changed. Within 15 minutes of a call to maintenance, someone arrived with fresh bed linen and made up the bed. This experience left us […] wondering what else had been overlooked. Apart from the wall clock battery needing changing and the patio door lock needing attention, the rest of the condo was in good condition. we could not get wireless internet in our unit and this was quite inconvenient. If this is a necessity, make sure you ask about that when booking as some units do have wireless connection. I would recommend this condo to others wanting something within walking distance of town centre. Read more

We stayed two nights, and found the condo very comfortable and suited to our needs. Close to two grocery stores and Starbucks, the highway and also an easy walk into town. Our BBQ was out of propane but a quick phone call and the tank was replaced within the hour. Overall very satisfied; good location, clean and comfortable, and reasonable price. One inconvenient thing - we were not informed that check-in should be done at a different location until we arrived at Canmorre; we had to drive more than 5 minutes to find the check-in office.

Our Unit had one of the best views of the mountains in Canmore. The two bedroom suite was very spacious, well equipped and very clean. Lots of kitchen gear, appliances, towels, linens and games, movies, etc. to keep all busy. Handy location, close to shopping and to main street canmore. Canmore Crossings is very nice if you are looking for a rental property, it is not in any way a hotel though. It was nice to have a kitchen, but to have to clean everything and do all the dishes before we left was not what I was looking for on my vacation

Hot tub was out of order entire visit. No blinds on main window which gave extreme lack of privacy. Ceiling light did not work in smaller bedroom.
