"Clean, Comfortable and Quiet"

Me and My husband stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend and we loved it. This place is nice and clean. And the local beaches were great, we had Forresters Beach just behind then The Entrance and Terrigal. Upon reaching the resort the staff were very cheerful and welcoming which just what you need to make your stay pleasant. Room Service was great. We found it very affordable. I would deffinitely come back here again.
"Renovation and service flexibility would improve this motel/"resort""

Rooms were clean, but a upgrade wouldn't go astray. Stayed here on a university field trip 15years ago and nothing has changed. Mattresses need upgrading...so soft when lying in bed I felt the blood rushing to my head. Friends in other rooms had the same experience (and we had not been drinking!). Front desk service was friendly enough, until we asked for late check out by 1 hour due to competing in a sporting event the next morning. After some consideration we were told we could have one room with a extra 1 hour to check out. We were grateful until we found out the day we checked out rooms aren't cleaned, hence no turnover. A little flexibility, especially when it doesn't affect business, can't hurt!
"Clean and comfy"

Stayed one night for business trip. Got a good deal on wotif. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. A criteria for all motels that unfortunately is lacking in many. So a big plus there. Yes, the motel definitely has an eighties feel but looked well maintained. Updating would be great but with the size of motel I could see how this would be a major investment for the owners. Nice view out the glass sliders to garden and pool area. Couldn't find any info on how to get breakfast in room book so I had it elsewhere as reception was not open when I left to enquire. I think if they want to get midweek bookings from business people they need to open at 7-7.30 for checkouts especially if they are taking a key deposit ( which a waived for myself) maybe a credit card swipe on book in is more appropriate nowadays. Checking in was pleasant and easy. No noise from highway and there are many rooms way from the road. I would suggest a name change to stop the expectation of a beach and a resort. (Which I wasn't but I knew the area) I would definitely use again.
"VERY ORDINARY motel"

Your can read all the other reviews of this "resort" and get the general picture. It is: 1. tired and needs renovation (still living in the 1980's motel genre); 2. expensive for what it provides; 3. remote - a drive to The Entrance and Terrigal; 4. noisy - it is on the Central Coast Highway; etc. etc. My wife & I stayed for 2 nightsand seemed to be the only people NOT at the wedding function. Great ! The noise went on until late in the evening and that didn't include the loud and boorish drunks outside our room (yelling obscentities at each other and vomiting on the grass). No point in complaining, no once at reception anyway. This is a savagely overproces motel which seems to cater for functions, adding the accommodation as an afterthought. If you want a 'resort' go elsewhere !

A group of meeting and event planners visited the property for a fully hosted tour and lunch and was greatly surprised by the amazing Conference Centre and meeting Facilities. The location on the Scenic Hwy at Forresters Beach is a little remote but perfect for a conference group, parking for hundreds plus coaches in a secure car park. THe Conference Centre and restaurants are the best on the coast in this class of property You would have to pay double these rates to get anything better on the coast for a conference Absolutely gobsmacked that its empty mid week
"Three day holiday break"

We booked for a four night stay, the room down stairs over looked grassed area near the pool, very pleasant, the room was very clean, the owner and staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough for you, also very quiet, even on a main road. A very central spot, as we had stayed in Terrigal, last year ,and there was more for us to see in the area. We would highly recommend the resort.Popsie

We stayed here for the weekend while we were doing a diving course, so we just needed somewhere to sleep. Our room was very clean right next to the pool which is lovely. It is a beautiful area. We were very happy (the boys were stoked) for what we paid for, no I wouldnt book it for a holiday weekend away (where I like to live like a Queen in 5star hotels) but I would stay here again, the staff are very friendly. Cute little dog at reception. I would suggest getting new bed covers as they are a little dated but still wonderfully comfortable, & maybe Foxtel. Thank you for a good weekend.

Lovely, large clean rooms! Yes slightly out dates but everything was clean and lovely and for the price and location who expects super modern? Lovely pool area. Staff were very accommodating and i love the gorgeous gold lab at reception! Not close to much in walking distance but a short drive to most areas of interest!

My daughter, baby grandson and I had a few days recently visiting family in Bateau Bay. We initially booked a motel in Bateau Bay and when checking in were horrified at the condition of the room. We advised the owner we could not stay in such poor conditions with a baby and received a refund. After a few desperate calls we found Forresters Beach Resort as a last minute option. On checking in we were informed that the room they had left was not one of their nicest and did not have a patio overlooking the gardens. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room was very nice, extremely large, king size bed, large flat screen TV, had a very modern bathroom with spa bath and was fully air conditioned. Most importantly it was spotlesslessly clean. The manager and staff were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. The gardens are lovely, fantastic pool area and nice BBQ's with plenty of seating for guest. It was extremely quiet and central to everything. I would strongly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat to return to at night. We visit the Central Coast 6 times a year to visit family and I will always stay here in the future.
"Excellent stay, will stay again and would recommend"

We recently stayed two nights at the Forresters Beach Resort and had an excellent stay. The staff at check in were very helpful and extremely polite and friendly. The room smelled fresh and clean and was huge with a big bathroom (big shower and bath) and king bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities, toaster and a microwave which is handy! There were two wine glasses chilling in the fridge which was a nice touch. The only problem we encountered was the AC would not turn on, so I phoned down to reception and in less than 5 minutes housekeeping were at our door ready to help. As it turned out I had not pushed the key in the power switch further enough, so totally my fault, but housekeeping was very friendly and more than happy to help. The grounds were lovely and the pool and spa very nice, a very relaxing area and although the resort is on a main road there was no road noise at all. We asked for a late check out and they were more than happy to help with this. Could not fault the service which I found to be better than many 5* hotels I have stayed in! Overall an excellent stay and would highly recommend.
