Residenza D'Aragona - Palermo

There was a time change during our stay, but the hotel did not mention a thing about it. We almost missed our flight. The bed is very uncomfortable, and the front desk was not helpful for getting local information. This is a small hotel, clean, but service is poor.

This is a "Residenza" not a hotel. So, think it as a Bed & Breakfast. When we arrived the front door was locked. We knock, and knocked, and finally someone walked out, but it was another guest. They told me that we had to call the management to arrange a time to arrive. They gave us the managers phone number and we called and she came to let us in. […] After that hiccup, we were good. The hotel was clean, the room was nice, the location was ok, with a 10 minute walk to the popular Piazzas. The only gripe I have is: no parking. You must drive around the area and serach for parking. We finally found parking after 30 minutes and then had to figure out where to buy a parking pass (Tobacco store). Luckly it was three blocks away from the hotel, with a short walk dodging dog poop on the side walks. All in all, it was a nice hotel, if you can figure everything out. The hotel is conviently located for sightseeing and is on a main thoroughfare.Several good restaurants nearby. Room was very spacious. But the bed had to be the hardest bed I have ever slept on in my life. The bathroom was big and the street noise was non-existant.

The room has a tiny kitchenette, stovetop and refrigerator -great for storing water, wine, etc, hidden behid folding doors.. But why cook while in Italy? There is a great family run trattoria right across the street, very convenient especially when you arrive late at night. One block away is a nice little shopping area - bakery, butcher shop, fruit/vegetable stand, wine store, charcuterie, and a small grocery store. Lovely people. La Residenza is well-located; we were able to walk to all areas of interest. I highly recommend it for the traveler who is not looking for luxury. Read more

Well furnished suite of rooms - very comfortable sofas etc. King size bed exceptionally comfortable with quality bedlinen and extra blankets and pillows available. Very clean and well kept. Huge wardrobes and hanging space. T.V in bedroom - could only access BBC world news or CNN. T.V would have been better in the lounge. The lounge only has windows […] onto a wall and this makes it rather dark with regard to natural light but plenty of lamps etc. The bedroom had french doors and a balcony overlooking the side street. We only had a hand held shower in the bath. Don't know if full showers are available but we would have prefered a full shower. Breakfast served between 7.30 and 9.30 - if you are getting an early flight you wouldn't be able to get breakfast. Excellent breakfast however. Room is very spacious. The staffs are very helpfull and the arrival time can be arranged earlier, so I have no problem with check in after 1pm. Location is very easy to find and just next to the shopping street.

Though the hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of many of the important attractions of the city, it is on a very narrow street, need to pay Euro 15 for overnight parking in a garage adjacent to the hotel.

This turned out to be a bargain. Rather than a room, this is a one-bedroom apartment with separate living room and bedroom. Really comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast superb. Excellent.

夜の9時15分パレルモ空港着の飛行機だったのと荷物が多かったので、ホテルにメールしたら50ユーロでタクシーを手配してくれ、助かりました。ホテルには便利なエレベーターが有り、浴槽がありました。近くに旨いハムを切り売りしている安くて便利なスーパーが有ります。ホテルは、ローマ道りからダラゴダ道りという路地を入ってすぐ左に有り、市内観光バス停まで歩いて5分という便利なところでした。お勧めです。

Sulla prenotazione era scritto che bisognava telefonare in quanto la reception apre solamente per il check in e la mattina, abbiamo telefonato indicando l'orario di arrivo all'aeroporto ore 19 e abbiamo chiesto quale mezzo prendere per arrivare all'albergo e ci hanno consigliato il bus a 6,10 euro a persona (eravamo in 4) noi chiediamo il taxi e ci […] dicono 50 euro. Quindi la signorina della reception ci dice va be arriverete alle 20.15. Arrivati all'aeroporto scopriamo che il taxi costa 30 euro e quindi preferiamo prendere il taxi arrivando alle 20.00 in albergo e non troviamo nessuno, chiamiamo la signorina e in modo poco educato ci dice ma dovevate arrivare alle 20,15 perché non siete venuti in bus alterandosi anche e facendoci comunque aspettare fuori la porta fino al suo arrivo alle 20,15. Il personale dell'hotel è presente nella struttura fino alle ore 13. Peraltro, appena arrivi, ti danno la chiave del portoncino esterno, per cui non ci sono problemi per accedere in qualunque ora. L'opinione che ho del residence è sicuramente positiva. Brava e professionale alla reception Lucia nel cercare di venire incontro alle richieste fatte. La sensazione che ho avuto è che se la Stessa avesse maggiore autonomia decisionale il residence stesso ne guadagnerebbe maggiormente in stile. Dico questo perchè l'ultimo giorno di permanenza sono letteralmente […] saltate le pulizie della camera e per quanto l'intervento di Lucia sia stato, come al solito, immediato e risolutivo la cosa ha creato non pochi disagi nella organizzazione del sabato pomeriggio. Per questo motivo ho ritenuto personalmente una mancanza di "stile" e di "delicatezza" il fatto che la mattina dopo non mi sia stato concesso, fosse anche in termini "compensativi", qualche minuto di tolleranza in più per lasciare il residence rispetto al rigido orario stabilito dal residence per il check out.... Molto soddisfacente, per la vicinanza dell'hotel alle principali attrazioni di Palermo, raggiungibili a piedi e dalla vicina fermata dei mezzi pubblici. Inoltre il quartiere dove si trova l'hotel, anche se un poco degradato, e comunque molto tranquillo, e consente un ottimo riposo notturno.

Großer Minuspunkt: Rezeption tägl. nur bis 13h besetzt. Spätere Anreise ist vorher telef. abzustimmen. Haben wir versucht, daber die von Expedia genannte Telno war falsch. Erst die Expedia-Hotline hat uns dann weitergeholfen und die richtige Telno auf die Mailbox gesprochen. Danke für die schnelle Hilfe! Parkplatzsituation ist in Palermo ein echtes […] Erlebnis. Die vom Hotel angebotene Parkgarage (15EUR die Nacht) war voll, so haben wir den Wagen auf einem blauen Parkplatzfeld abgestellt und für 2 Tage 9 EUR bezahlt. Alleine der Einkauf des Parkzettels ist ein Erlebnis: Im Tabacchi für jede Std einen Rubbel-Zettel kaufen und auf das Armaturenbrett legen. Das Zimmer war groß aber dunkel, weil in den Hinterhof gelegen. 2m von der Hauswand kam das nächste Haus. Bett und Bad waren in Ordnung, das Hotel insgesamt und OK. Read more

Mas que un hotel es una residencia, el trato es correcto, la habitación estaba limpia y totalmente equipada. Merece la pena para visitar la ciudad a pie ya que esta céntrico.Además brinda la posibilidad de parking, cosa que es de agradecer en una ciudad como Palermo,ya que es complicado aparcar.

子連れなのでキッチン／バスタブ付きの場所を探してたところ、ここぐらいしか出てこなかったので泊まったけれど、今回の旅行では一番良かった（予想以上という意味でも）。フロントが午後はあまり機能していない（特に日曜）という難はあるけれど、皆親切で、朝食のパンもおいしかった！（ジュースがいまいちなのはパレルモ全般的な文化っぽい）お風呂のお湯もふんだんに使える。イタリアのホテルのレベルを少し見直したくらい、快適でした。
