This hotel was strange in design and the neighborhood was a little noisy. It's a pretty basic hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Free Internet and free breakfast was a nice plus, considering a lot of the pricier hotels charge extra for them. It wasn't a bargain for what I paid, but you're not going to do a whole lot better in NY. Good location for a Mets game or the US Open. Two blocks from subway stop.

Overall this hotel is small and that includes lobby, corridors, AND room which was barely big enough to move around without knocking the furniture. The mattress was sagging and gave me a terrible backache in the morning. Carpet in the room was stained. Breakfast consisted of stale bagels/white bread, butter and Jam, cold/hot cereal (no microwave to prepare hot cereal) while the coffee tasted like it was made from saw dust (perhaps they recycled previous day coffee powder!). Staff can barely communicate in English. The computer in the lobby did not work and the staff including manager did not seem to care about it. Area around the hotel was typical China Town. Only thing positive was proximity to subway and overall cleanliness of the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and met my needs but it offered few creature comforts. Breakfast was a toaster and some prepackaged cereal. The room was very well kept with free wireless access but also quite small. I recommend for a business travellor but not for a family vacationing.

If you want to be right in the heart of the Flushing Asian experience this is the place to stay. The price was right. The service was courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed and nice shower head--what more could you want? It is only five minutes from LaGuardia and fifteen from Kennedy.

Very easy to find. The directory of hotels at LaGuardia gave exact directions and was very easy to find. Parking was a bit of a hassle if you did not want to pay at the the garage but there was municipal parking across the street just have you quarters handy. The room was quite small but very well maintained. I was very impressed by their service, continental breakfast every morning was great, lots of restaurants to choose from, easy access to the subway station. I can't wait to plan my next trip and stay here again!

The single room I booked was small but very neatly kept. All the service people I met were very friendly and helpful. Their English wasn't perfect, but it was completely understandable. The breakfast offerings were sadly very bare bones. The area around the hotel was a bit mixed in how nice it was- I was a little uncomfortable walking around alone at night when I arrived, but not horribly so. During the day there's no problem at all.

The Hotel Staff was very friendly however they need to learn to respect the "Do Not Disturb Sign" door hanger they give you to put on the door. I was on vacation and like to sleep in so I made sure the do not disturb sign was posted and on two seperate occassions was awaken by the maid knocking on my door to clean the room. It wasn't enough to yell from bed I had to get up and go to the door and tell them I didn't need service. A service I have grown used to in hotels today is the availibility of a computer to print out my boarding passes for my upcoming flight. For they price we paid for this hotel I guess I expected too much. After asking the gentlemen behind the counter he did allow me to go behind the desk and print out the boarding passes but charged me $2 for each paper I printed out. Also on two seperate occassions the elevator wasn't working and we had to take the stairs to the third floor the first time when we checked in with all of our luggage. The neighborhood was a little noisy however in New York City its to be expected. The remote for the TV never worked even though I asked for it to be fixed. So if I had to head back to Flushing NY this I would be looking for a different hotel to stay in.
