Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Enjoyable breakfast for the most part. Good location for walking and close to subways if needed. I would stay there again if I return to Buenos Aries.

The hotel is lovely, with unique frescoes and paintings in all the rooms and an unusual layout due to its conversion to a hotel from a conventillo. The staff were exceptionally helpful with regard to advice about attractions and organizing taxis/bus trips for us - as well as finding an adaptor so we could use our computer. San Telmo is a good base for exploring, although a little run-down, but the hotel itself made up for the defects of the environment! And it's definitely fun (if somewhat daunting) to take a tango class at the hotel.

"Bel-Air Hotel, fairly well located"
Rooms were fine - hotel staff didn't seem well organized. They gave bad information and weemed harrassed. The hotel cleaning staff forgot to put towels or extra blankets in rooms. The underground was not nearby, though a main street with busses was one block away.

My wife and I spent several nights at the Hotel Bel Air during a November 2011 trip to Buenos Aires and we were very satisfied. The hotel is very well located in a very pleasant neighborhood and the hotel itself is also very nice. I found this to be a very pleasant, well located hotel for the price. The staff was accommodating, the morning breakfast, with the strong coffee, got our day moving in the right direction. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

this Hotel is of similar quality as Holiday Inn ... Extremely Clean, Great Neighborhood, and decent breakfast. Also the service was good. When I ckecked out I forgot my sphygmomanometer in the room and immediately noticed that and returned it to me. I find that an extremely good service.

The Bel Air is delightful...modern, clean, comfortable and convenient to important sights and good restaurants. Super helpful multilingual staff made our stay very enjoyable.

As an American staying in a foreighn country I can say that staying at this hotel is the only choice. The staff was well versed in English and very attentive to my desires. Joseph was our waiter most of the time and was very polite and quick to make me feel comfortable. I have stayed there twice as I dont think I will find anything better.

"Great Value"
for the price of the room, this is a great value. the staff are incredibly helpful and speak english fluently. breakfast is included in the room price. the location is on a quiet side street but conveniently located near the subway, many restaurants and most major attractions.

Great location and conveniently located to many sights, including the cemetery. Room was clean and the shower pressure very good. Staff was friendly and helpful in making arrangements and suggestions for touring. Excellent value.

"Bel Air Hotel in Buenos Aires - it was top notch"
We loved the Bel Air. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The desk staff were knowledgable and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Recoleta location was also excellent...it was a great base for exploring. The only limitation was that the gym was so small.

"Charming Hotel in Nice Neighbourhood"
We stayed at the Bel Air for 4 nights and loved both the hotel and the neighbourhood. The hotel is on a lovely tree lined street one block off a main shopping street. Our room was very comfortable with a king size bed and a balcony. The staff were very helpfull and the staff at reception all spoke excellent english. We stayed at two other hotels in […] Buenos Aires as we travelled to and from other cities and although they were both nice the Bel Air was overall the best and great value. Read more

Hotel bem localizado, otimo servico de elevador, equipe atenciosa, quarto espaçoso com frigobar e cofre. Café da manha mto bom, porém soh havia 2 atendentes para repor o café e a comida e tb limpar as mesas, o que fez com que as mesas ficassem sujas e faltasse a reposicao da comida nos horarios de maior pico. O piso eh do quarto eh mto bom, de laminado […] e nao de carpete velho , comum em Buenos Aires.O quarto possui roupeiro, cabideiro e espelho grande. Ficamos 6 dias e no final a avaliação do Bel Air foi muito positiva. Quarto grande e sempre limpo, cama enorme. Ótima localização, vc caminha tranquilamente pelo bairro tanto de dia como de noite. Em tranqiilos 30 min vc está no centro da Recoleta, Av. Avelar, Rua Quintana, La Biela, cemitério. Mais próximo do hotel está Av. Santa Fé (comércios, Volta, […] Fredo), Av. Callao e Heras (farmácias, bares, sorveterias) e a própria Arenales, reunindo tudo isso mais as pequenas vendinhas de bairro. Negativamente, apenas o pequeno espaço destinado para o café manhã. "Hotel Bel Air - fique nele!"
Escolhi o Bel Air pelas excelentes resenhas do Trip Advisor. O hotel é mesmo muito bom. Fica numa rua super charmosa, praticamente em frente a uma praça linda e toda arborizada. A região é muito segura, dá para ir jantar andando sem problemas. Fica a umas 3 quadras de sorveterias maravilhosas e da livraria El Grand Ateneo e a 4 quadras do cemitério […] da Recoleta. Ir do hotel para as principais atrações é fácil e barato de táxi. Só não é perfeito por ser um pouco distante do metrô. O quarto em que fiquei, o mais barato, era ótimo, apesar de não ter vista (dava para o hall do prédio). Ar condicionado tinindo, cama enorme, banheiro grande com banheira. O café da manhã é ok, com croissants, pães, queijo amarelo, presunto, ovos, suco, iogurte, 1 tipo de cereal, café e salsicha, além de uns doces meio estranhos. Definitivamente voltaria a ficar lá. boa localização, funcionários atenciosos na recepção. Fica devendo qualidade no café da manhã (espaço muito pequeno e desorganizado).
Tudo excelente! Com certeza quando voltar a Buenos Aires vou ficar de novo no Bel Air Hotel. Minha única ressalva é em relação ao café da manhã, poderia ter mais opções de frutas e yogurtes como em outros hotéis que fiquei em Bs As. Mas recomendo sim, o hotel é excelente em todos os quesitos, de limpeza, conforto a localização.

Gostamos bastante do hotel, embora os funcionários da recepção não sejam gentis, com exceção para o rapaz que cuida das bagagens, que prestou um excelente atendimento. Quanto às acomodações, a cama é muito confortável com roupas de cama de ótima qualidade e o quarto era espaçoso e quente (de forma positiva, já que estava muito frio). Poderiam renovas […] as toalhas de banho. Para brasileiros que gostam de sol, os andares mais altos ou as suítes, que ficam de frente para a rua - e são mais barulhentas por isso - podem ser mais indicadas, já que nos andares mais baixos quase não há luz natural pela disposição dos quartos. A localização é ótima, próximo da praça San Martin e, para quem gosta, do cemitério da Recoleta. Não fica longe da Florida. Ótimos bistrôs e cafés nos arredores. Estive neste hotel de 17/08 a 21/08/2011 e posso recomendá-lo tranquilamente a todos que me perguntarem. Tudo foi perfeito, o hotel é bem bonito, os funcionários são atenciosos e o quarto também atendeu muito bem minhas expectativas. A localização do hotel é espetacular. No bairro Recoleta, um local muito bem frequentado, bonito e perto de tudo. Eu considero um hotel bem localizado quando fica próximo das atrações noturnas, pois de dia é mais fácil locomover-se, e nos dá segurança, principalmente à noite. Do Bel Air era possível ir para diversos pontos turísticos à pé ou com uma […] corrida de táxi de mais ou menos 15 pesos. Quando me hospedei no centro da cidade, andar à pé de noite dava medo, mas a vizinhança do Bel Air é muito agradável e segura. Ele fica próximo das atrações do dia e da noite. O quarto (superior) era muito bem limpo, e os colchões, os travesseiros e as roupas de cama eram super confortáveis. O café-da-manhã era simples, (mas parece que melhorou desde maio de 2011, quando eu pesquisei o hotel) e tinha o tradicional de lá: croissants doces e salgados, doce de leite, pães de forma, manteiga, queijo mussarela, presunto, poucas frutas (laranja, maçã, quiwi e grapefruit), ovos mexidos, salsichas, sucos de laranja e grapefruit, leite, café, chocolate, chás diversos de saquinho e alguns cereais. Os funcionários da recepção e da limpeza eram bastante simpáticos e solícitos. As garçonetes do café-da-manhã não eram simpáticas (como parece ser a praxe em Buenos Aires) mas eram eficientes. "Boa Localização"
o hotel se localiza em uma rua tranquila, perto de uma linda praça no bairro Recoleta. bem proximo a avenida santa fe que liga o hotel as principais atrações de Buenos Aires. Os quartos sao confortaveis, mas sem luxo, o cafe da manha é bom, a Internet de uso geral no primeiro andar é gratuita e os funcionarios simpaticos. Recomendo.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mein Gepäck mehr über zwei Tage dalassen können.

"Tiny Bel Air"
The rooms are so tiny and uncomfortable that you´ll feel claustrofobic. The bathroom smells weird. I don´t recommend this hotel. Ibis is a way better option.
