A nice hotel that has been owned by the same family for three or four generations. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and as a bonus the chef had lots of great hiking recommendations and speaks fluent English. Much better source of information that the three TIs that we visited.

Very old fashioned and the decor looks 70s but everything was in perfect condition and our room was very large with a nice big bath tub and dual sinks. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and had two mattresses side by side rather than 1 large one but we had no other complaints. Location is perfect for exploring the old town and for arriving or departing from the main station.

Nice hotel and staff. Restaurant a bit over priced for the area. You should request a room "on the quiet side of the hotel" as it is on a busy corner. A church is right across the street and the bells ring but not after 10 at night and starting again at 7 in the morning.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. My family of four enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. The restaurant was great as we enjoyed breakfast each day.

"wonderful"
My daughter and I stayed here and were very pleased. The staff were courteous and helpful even with our ability to speak only English. The room was lovely and CLEAN. I recommend this highly to any wanting to see the charm and hospitality of Germany.

Everything was great for us. The Lady at the hotel did say to us that people always want the cheapest room when booking on line and therefore you are always put on the top floor, however we changed our room to the first floor with a balcony, we never book on line for the price we do this because it is much easier.
