"Everything you need except a micro-waive"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
It was a very quiet place to stay! No noise from other rooms and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. No micro-waive in the rooms!! We were there several days and would not stay there again without a mico-waive in the room!!!
"Better than Vegas off strip casino hotels!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Pleasantly surprised that THIS property FAR exceded Vegas off strip loding on recent trip. Great breakfast and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
"Friendly and quiet"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Great place, very friendly staff, peaceful surroundings even though it is close to major freeways. My only complaint is that they are a bit stingy with towels. Our room slept four, yet they only gave us three towels...repeatedly!
"very good for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
The room was clean and comfortable. The price was right and we would stay there again.

"Nice view of golf course. Nice service."
This hotel has a very small town kind-of feel. Friendly service at guest services and at the Lodge restaurant. Good food and wine at the resaurant too. The only bad thing is that the walls and floors are thin. We kept hearing the people upstairs moving back and forth. And we could hear our next door neighbor talking on his phone. I'm a light sleeper […] so I always bring ear plugs where ever I go, and I'm glad I did. Overall this is a good comfortable place to stay. If I ever find myself in Ramono again, I would stay here. "Awesome..."
This hotel was very nice for the price. We liked where it was located since it was very close to where we had to go the next day. Our only comment about the cleanliness of the room was that in the sky windows there was a ton of cobwebs. While I understand that cobwebs can form overnight, these should be attended to daily. Some people freak out about […] spiders (my daughter being one). Other then that the place was very clean and nice to stay. It rained while we were there so the steps were very slippery and my daughter fell on the stairs wearing tennis shoes. Read more
"Relaxing Stay"
All 30 rooms have a patio that looks out over the golf course and across to the hills and mountains. The weather was perfect. The convenient dining room also looks out over the golf course and serves a very good breakfast. Rooms have a game table inside and another on the patio. The TV will accept your own DVD player. Separate wash basins in the bath […] and the dressing area, a large closet and a small refrigerator are a plus. We also enjoyed the Classic Rotors (Helicopter) Museum at the Ramona Airport! Read more

"Great stay"
St. Patty's day party was fun, hotel is lovely, our room overlooked the golf course which was very green, beautiful scene. Our room was clean as a whistle, and the breakfast was tasty, the restaurants and bar are recently redone and very warm and inviting. We will be back again..and we aren't golfers!
WE loved the place & want to come back.....can we stay for free? LOL We loved Courtney the best! Great food & great service!! <3
"San Vicente golf resort"
Close to barona oaks mx and a great place to stay.
"Quiet setting, nice accomodations"
This resort was a pleasant stay. Spacious, clean room, and great service.
"San Diego Country Estates Golf Club Units"
The units are basic (frig, coffee maker, hairdryer, TV; No microwave) and comfortable. Nice walking trail across the street. There is a small shopping area within walking distance with a restaurant, mini market, hardware store, etc. The club house near the units holds the restaurant, which has an excellent inexpensive breakfast, especially when the […] hotel gives you a $4 breakfast voucher per person for each day of your stay. The biggest problem is PARKING: the units have no designated parking, so the golfers and tennis players use the spaces which should be reserved for people who rent the units -- VERY FRUSTRATING!!! -- and management doesn't care Read more
Room was right on golf course with outstanding view. Very nice accomidations. Will stay here again.

"Ramona's Nicest Inn"
San Vicente is not as up to date as some places we've stayed & the TV reception isn't the best but it is very clean and the staff is wonderful.
Thank you for taking your time to submit a review. All of us at San Vicente Resort pride ourselves on providing the best of everything to make your stay a pleasureable experience. Our AAA 3-Diamond guestrooms were recently remodeled and the Par Lounge & Deck are new. We hope you choose to stay with us in the future.

"very nice place to stay and play golf"
5 miles from Ramona, very quiet, nice and clean room, king size bed very comfortable, balcony with golf course view, breakfast rather expensive , 4 Dollar/ person coupon didn't go very fare. We would stay there again

"Rainy Day"
It rained and there was a puddle at the front door and on my balcony. That was inconvenient, but then the bar and kitchen were closed do to some "emergency" So overall it was not a great stay, but the rooms are fine for the price and you sit right on the golf course with killer views.

"If you are going to Ramona, this is the place"
Clean (slightly musty) but EXCEPTIONAL service, great food and close to everything you need to get to in Ramona. The restaurant and lounge are exceptional. Even had free champagne with your breakfast.
"San Vicente Golf Resort"
Set among pristine hills, the resort boasts golf and tennis and is about six miles from the Barona Casino. The food is good and inexpensive. Tthose who don't mind twisty mountain roads and an isolated location, will find the hotel an ideal refuge.
"San Vicente in SDCE, Ramona, CA"
This is a nice hotel though it is older but I can't say enough good things about the cleanliness of the room, the hotel staff and the excellent value.
"Second Time"
A Great Value for a nice quite room on a golf course.
"Great! Even for the non-golfer!"
Went for an overnight stay because it's close enough to Julian. Really enjoyed the drive, absolutely beautiful in the fall! Not a golfer but really enjoyed the view of the greens from the balcony of the room. Great kitchenette in the room, with a refrigerator and a cute little breakfast bar. Also REALLY liked that there is a sink inside the restroom […] as well as outside of it. The rooms were clean and comfy, and they even have extra pillows and blankets in the full sized closet! Had breakfast in the hotel restaurant with our $4 off voucher, don't really recommend the oatmeal... but the breakfast croissant looked good! Highly recommend this place for just an overnight stay or for a week long retreat! Recommend Molly Malone's Bar in Ramona, Good, cheap drinks and a fun environment with pool tables and an outside bar area :) Read more
"San Vincente Golf Resort-beautiful"
This resort was very nice, clean with beautiful scenery. We were not there for golfing but for a family wedding, it was the perfect place to stay. It has a huge balcony with breath taking views. The maid service was very honest as I left my purse on the bed and off to the wedding we went, no one touched it. Very comforting to know that this is a first […] class resort at a very resonable price. We will be back!! Read more
"You Don't Have to be a Golfer"
I am not a golfer but wanted a nice place to stay on our way from Tucson to Beaverton. The place was way above my expectations. The rooms overlook the golf course with a comfortable sized deck and a great view. The highlight for us were the half price appetizers in the bar for Monday Happy Hour. This will be my 'goto' place when I am in the area.
"Golf Shop"
The Manager and workers in the golf shop are all just great. The practice area of chipping sand and pitching work in back of the range are in very bad shape need lots of work and new sand which is now mostly mud.
"One Night Stay"
Everything was fine and much cleaner than other area motels that cost more. Every room has a balcony on the public golf course so there is some action out there, but nice views, very relaxing countryside location.

The room was nice. Each room has a balcony and overlooks the golf course and the mountains. Don't play golf but there is nothing wrong with a nice view. The rooms have been obviously updated. I lived in Ramona about 30 years ago. Not sure if the property was built then or later but is was in great condition and modernized.

beautiful, traditional furniture. extremely friendly staff. beautiful scenery. the only concern was the room was musty on arrival and could have used a good dusting.
"Great place for a few days off."
a very nice place to visit food was great golf course was very nice and lot's full size trees for shade temp was 102 the pool is huge! I will be staying at this place from now on. 10 min from Barona Raceway.
"Great in almost every way"
We received a friendly greeting and upon check-in, the front desk was happy to move us to the "quietest room available." The room was spotless and nicely decorated with a fabulous view of the golf course. And the jacuzzi was comfortably heated, clean, and extra-large - almost like a mini-pool. Lifeguards were present in the pool area and the pool was […] also comfortably heated. They even had a 1-foot mini-pool for the kids The only drawback to our stay was live band music in the clubhouse until midnight, which could be heard in all rooms due to the hotel layout (all balconies face toward the golf course.) Then six hours later the loudspeaker started announcing tee-times. Read more

"Beautiful but AC in room a tad on the noisy side"
The surroundings are stunning and because we had a car, we were able to explore San Diego but still come back the the peace and quiet of this lovely resort. The facilities are great- swimming pool and tennis courts- and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The only down side is the air conditioning unit in the room which was very loud- it sounded […] like a boeing 747 was taking off every time it kicked off. If you're a heavy sleeper you won't be affected but if you're a light sleeper you may want to take some ear plugs if you want to stay cool. Either that or keep it off at night if you can take the heat! Read more

"Remote San Vicente Golf Resort"
It's a beautiful resort but a little outdated. Beautiful location and golf course up in the mountains. It's a good place to stay if you want to get away from the city because going to the city is a long haul up and down the mountain. The staff are very nice and hospitable. There are spider webs by the door to the room and there is a smell (antique kinda) […] when you walk in the room. All in all, good place. Read more
"Oasis"
Great place to spend time even if you are not a golpher!

"San Vicente Golf Resort - perfect for golfer"
We arrived at 11:30 am and we couldn't checked in until 3pm but the lady said try to come back around 1pm and maybe our room will be ready. I booked this resort because my husband likes golf and it's very convenient right on our doorstep. The room balcony was great as you can see the golf course. The location was perfect for couples who likes to spend […] a quite time away from the city. Aside from golf and multiple hiking trails, nothing else to see there but just no end of hills rocks. And if you like the casino, Barona casino is only 9 miles away from the hotel. The two old ladies receptionist when we checked out are not very friendly either. I felt that there's a racism going on. We don't feel welcome so we won't come back to that hotel again. Read more
enjoyed the one night we were there. wish we had reserved our whole week there
"Nice and Remote"
This is part of a Golf Course property. The rooms are nice although a bit dated. At least this hotel is not 100 yds from a busy freeway. On the other hand most tourist attactions are 20-30 miles away. Rancho Bernardo is a more central location, but also more pricey. This was my 2nd stay and I will come back, to be away from the tourist crowds in San […] Diego. Read more

"San Vicente Golf Resort-Very Helpful Staff"
The faciltiy is very comfortable with a lovely view from the room balcony and from the restaurant where the food is consistently very good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Two examples stand out. When the waitress learned that I have a gluten allergy, she recommended a grocery store and gave me a printed set of mapquest directions. When we learned […] that a sold out buffet was being served on Mother's Day, the manager arranged a special breakfast for us. Read more
"Awesome service by friendly staff"
There was an issue with our room that was solved immediately. Friendly staff, great food, tennis courts spic and span. Will return and bring our children next time.
"Good stay"
Beautiful location.... nice relaxing stay... the staff was very friendly... The only negative is sound. A person can hear about everything that is happening in front of the units, but I still sleep well.
