"Great Family Stay"
Ideal place for everyone on our family. Comfortable, clean and terrific amenities! Best price for a stay on Napa.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Unique and Lovely"
We were staying in Napa for our first time, and we only had a day and a half to spend there. This lovely resort was right near some great wineries, shopping in Yountville, and it had a nice trail running behind it for a great morning run. We will definitely come back next year and stay an extra night to enjoy more nearby wineries!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was convenient and comfortable with a living area and separate bedroom. A couple of things-the toaster did not work (I forgot to tell the office at check out) and it would have been helpful if the coffee supplies were near the coffee maker. I did not find them on the table until later and did not realize […] there was coffee with filters in them. We had bought coffee and were looking everywhere for some filters. Is not a big deal but frustrating at the time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Needs updating and better housekeeping"
We are a family of 3. The size of the room (trailer house) was perfect for us - BUT - the cabinets and upholstery was very worn. Found other people's items under the bed, guess the maid missed that. This is something of a timeshare so you will make your own bed, wash your own dishes, and call for more towels if you need. For a room close to $200 a night […] I would think your bed made would be included... Also, when you check in they inform you of a $10.75 a day charge that is not paid when you book your room (I booked thru Hotels.com). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fine for a road trip with kids but..."
We booked a one bedroom "cottage". It was on a trailer complete with hitch! This "resort" is a glorified trailer park. Very pretty, but still a trailer park with no maid service, and cold breakfast that the employees seem to enjoy. Saw people bringing their coffee caraf to the club house to fill up in the mornings. The place shakes when you walk down […] the hall. Overpriced for what you get. Nice staff, but that doesn't make up for what the "cottage" lacks. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice kitchen if you like to have simple meals in room. The gym was ok - nothing great but adequate. TONS of paperwork to check in, I felt like I was signing for a mortgage! We only stayed one night, so it was clean, everything worked and it was comfortable / quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Little Well Priced Napa Gem"
Offers individual, new single-wide, high-end trailers set back off the street away from the hustle and noise. Wonderful appliances and appointments. My unit had two televisions! They might want to think about up-dating the beds, but that is my only negative comment.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This resort is really a trailer park where each trailer is the accommodation. So each accommodation well was a trailer so paying the rate we did seemed to0o high for the quality of the room. I would have much preferred to have known this about the accommodation prior to booking it. The trailer was very clean. The location was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice experience. Easy parking. Reasonably quiet and private.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Decent Place To Stay"
The Riverpointe is in a good location and offers a cottage-mobile home type of room. It's nice and cozy, clean, and close to downtown Napa. It does look like a much nicer place when you see it on the website so make sure you don't pay $300 a night like I did as it's surely not worth that. For $100-$150/night it's a nice place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only thing I didn't like we had to pay 10.00 extra per day I was very disappointed we should have been told of this is it's not like we can go to another hotel I felt trappedvGenuine Expedia guest review
"Love Love Love!"
I definitely recommend this place if you visit Napa first time. There is a trial at the back of the resort you can walk or bike to feel great breeze in the morning. The hotel has free wine testing twice in every week you can join. There are free laundry room, bbq area, swimming pool and jacuzzi you can relax as well. You feel you stay in your home! […] It's really cosy and clean. I will come back next time! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
River Pointe was in a good location, close to downtown Napa, and not too far from most wineries. The bed was very uncomfortable, full sized, and the air conditioner was so noisy we couldn't run it without going psycho. But the cabin/trailer was super cool. Each was a different color and I loved having my own parking spot in front of it. Also cool was […] having a private patio with tables and chairs to chill on. Only other downfall was having to clean the room before leaving and no breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"There for the wine"
After looking at pictures and a map to compare distance to wineries, we decided to stay at RiverPoint. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Our room had a private outside patio where you could actually hear the crickets and see the stars at night, it was very relaxing. The "rooms" were a vey descent size and pretty much clean and newer. Close […] enough to wineries for us and nice a quiet. Seems to be animal friendly and has walking trail along the river. Would definitely stay there or recommend it if I go back to Napa. I really didn't piece it together that these units / condos / studios are all trailers. That sounds odd but they are really cute inside. Well decorated and the amenities are fine. They have a nice flat screen TV, 2 burner stove, microwave, nice bathroom and shared deck. Super clean places that just rock a smidge! :-) I would highly recommend them. The […] price was a bit high but still lower than others in the area but I am guessing it is a peak season price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pleasant for longer stays"
We were just there for a night, enjoyed the amenities, but felt overcharged for what was a very brief visit. If you are staying for several days, it is fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Definitely not a 5 star resort, more likely 2 star"
Bad service, extremely unhelpful check-in frontdesk, and definitely not a five star resort. They charge you extra fees for each days of stay for things such as wireless access (which does not work properly), towels, concierge etc - odd practice for a five star resort, which already is pretty pricey. When you book they don't mention anything about the […] extra fee. Check in time is 4 pm which is too late. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
While our stay at River Pointe was nice, I felt it was dramatically overpriced for what it is. It is a trailer after all and spending over $300 a night was a little excessive. And then to charge an additional "resort fee" was too much.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable, even for business travel!"
When traveling on business, I try to keep costs down by "eating-in" at breakfast and some dinners. I also bring food from home because I have food allergies and don't usually have time to purchase items while traveling. Having such a quiet and lovely "trailer" that helped me keep costs down in a pretty setting, with such a nice walking path nearby, […] more than met my expectations. There was a full size (a bit noisy) refrigerator and kitchen. The supplies were more than adequate for me. While I couldn't take advantage of the resort amenities, I am sure they are helpful to the other visitors! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"One of the few hotels not requiring a 2-night stay"
This is a nice family-friendly place in Napa. Cottages are actually trailers but ours was comfortable, quiet, well-equipped and overlooking the river. Nice view and easy access to the river trail were the upside of the location; on the downside were the number of rather sketchy-looking fishermen out at all hours in our "backyard"--we worried a bit about […] security. The only other problem was that once the cleaning scents wore off it became apparent that a urine-stained carpet had not been thoroughly cleaned. All in all, tho', this is a great alternative for a quick Napa visit when you don't want to be locked into a 2-night minimum stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Wake up call!!"
We thought the park was very clean and the cottages were nice. They were actually trailers. I guess our only complaint was a note that said we would have to pay an extra $10. because the cost of electricity and water had gone up. We thought the price of a one night stay was a little on the high side. We put out our Do Not Disturb sign, and at 8 in the […] morning, the cleaning girls were out side of our cottage laughing and talking and cleaning the outside of our cottage for spider webs and dirt! Bang bang and swish and lots of talking. No one was even staying in the cottage next door, so it should have been a quiet morning. We complained and they said, oh sorry. For the price, I don't think we would go back. At the Marriott at least you get a great breakfast for less money! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"better than nothing but ..."
I needed to be in Napa Valley for a business event on a non-profit budget --- I have faced this dilemma before and am always hoping to find a better option. This wasn't it. It is basically a charmed up trailer park. While my trailer was clean and not as tacky as I feared, it was still very tired and low end. Also, the electricity went out in my "bedroom" […] and my old big box Zenith TV / cable didn't work. I get how it could be a reasonable option for casual/leisure travelers to the area -- especially if you need to be there for several days ... there is a kitchen and living area which for longer stays could be useful / budget friendly. But, bottom line is the town of Napa is 30 mins away from St. Helena--the heart of wine tasting, shops and restaurants-- and we were paying quite a bit for a hotel that was pretty lame. I won't return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fun for friends getaway for sure"
I traveled with a group of friends and this was a last minute choice. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was a little ways out, but if you are driving with a group of friends, it is a great place to later hang out - I noticed there were BBQ grills throughout the complex. Cool concept on converted the mobile homes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Terrible night's sleep"
It was extremely hot in our mobile rental and the AC was not working. It was a terrible night and it was very difficult to reach the front desk and tell them about the problem.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A below average experience"

"Charming with great location along the river"
Totally enjoyed it...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The cottages are actually converted mobile homes! But it works - one bedroom units have a kitchenette, sitting area with sofa bed and bedroom and bath. It's a great location, close to the Riverwalk.. Very family friendly. We didn't try out the pool/spa/laundry so cannot comment on that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We were so surprised with the comfort of our little house.there were bar b QA available. Kitchens had everything you would ever need. We will stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good relaxed family spot"
I'm sure it's not for everyone --those interested in luxury would not like the River Pointe Napa Valley Resort. It is very cute, the cabins (trailers) are clean and comfortable and well equipped. This would be a great spot for a family reunion. there is a mile long walking trail right next door (along the Napa River), which is great for early morning […] exercise. the work out room is lacking, only 3 machines, but i did get some recumbent bike time in. Please be aware that housekeeping does not come every day, so if you don't want to make your bed, go somewhere else. We had no problem driving up to Yountville for some very nice dinners -- only about a 15 minute drive. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Enjoyed our stay, comfortable bed and lovely surroundings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room is amazing, with a fully functional kitchen and a towel-made dog on the bed. The only "surprise" was an additional daily rate of US$9,00 to "keep" some services, such as wine lessons, not available on the days that we're in the hotel and other things that could be charged separately. The hotel location is great, near Oxbow Market and some […] wineries. I would stay there again for sure. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great price for a downtown Napa place to stay."
Great place to stay in downtown Napa. Great price. Very quite and the beds are very comfortable!Genuine Expedia guest review
liked the stay but we were told the pool was heated and it was freezing - but worse it had big stretchy black dirty things floating around on the bottom - and I wouldn't swim in that if you paid me. Also, not sure I should be signing for incidentals before I check out, it could lead to fraud - and I was a little sketched out that I had to pay an additional […] 8 dollars on top of what I paid, which apparently wasn't included in what I had already paid in hotel taxes - or what I had given hotel.com. "The Upscale Trailer Camp Rocked!"
Nice cozy cottage with a deck for hanging out and drinking wine. Great location for wine tasting junkets and only 5-minute drive to downtown Napa and all the restaurants. Shower was nice and powerful. Pool and hot tub were clean. Nice and quiet in the evening.Genuine Expedia guest review
Had a great stay. Very nice cottages along the Napa River. Very clean and comfortable, was actually even nicer than I thought it would be. A private outdoor deck attached to each cottage was great for dinner and breakfast outside both days. Used the pool one day and went to a free wine tasting in the clubhouse one day. More of an older crowd, so not […] really a place for loud parties. Stayed in a cottage with my girlfriend. Plenty of space with bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and small living room. Could have easily fit a couple of kids on the pull out couch, or perhaps one more adult, or a couple, but that would be a little tight. Exceeded my expectations. "Pleasant, but could be better for the price."
The "cottage" was cozy like a home away from home. However, a bit pricey for what we received overall. The room had fleas and the wireless internet service was slow and kept dropping while trying to surf the web on things to do in the area. Tried to contact the front desk and it kept going to voicemail for more than an hour. For the most part it was […] a nice place, but could be better. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I was disappointed. The front desk woman was really unpleasant. When we arrived, late in the afternoon, our room was not ready, the pool table was unavailable for my kids due to some sales meeting and her delivery of every bit of news was such taht you felt like you were burdening her. She really made it unpleasant -- she clearly hates her job and the […] clientele with whom she works. When a gentleman (her boss?) was nearby, her attitude changed. Rooms are upscale (?) trailers far away from the action of Napa. pool is a bit chilly - I would not return under any circumstances. Worst place I have stayed in Napa County. "Like staying in a small apartment"
Nice property and unique hotel concept. We loved the attached private patio... great for a quiet dinner and viewing the stars.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved our little room and wished we could have stayed longer. Next visit I will bring more food, coffee etc as the room had everything we would need to make little breakfasts and or lunches. Probably dinners too but when in Napa it would be a shame to not get out and enjoy the eateries and wine bars etc. Loved the place and hope to return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Really a timeshare"
Liked the little "trailer" units. Ours was very nice, cozy, and inviting, and provided us everything we could have needed. We were disappointed with the extra "$8 plus tax" surcharge, assessed at checkout. The explanation gave a list of 6 or 8 extra services (extra pool toweles, concierge service, etc) none of which we needed, wanted, or used. Flat-out […] annoying. Why don't places like this simply build into their basic fares what they intend to charge? Seems like a standard procedure these days, nicking the customer with all kinds of extra charges, many of which we neither need nor want. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great find for Napa getaway weekend!!"
This hotel actually exceeded my expectations. I was in Napa for a girls' weekend, and we needed a place to stay just one night to attend a concert. We were in the one-bedroom cottage that has a queen bed but also the sofabed, so you could put up to 3 people if need be. THere was a full size fridge, eating area, TV, flatscreen, and kitchen with stove, […] microwave, coffee setup, etc. Many other hotels in the area required a 2-night minimum, but this hotel was able to accommodate us. About 20 minutes after we'd checked in, the front desk called us to see if we needed anything!! I've not had that at 5 star hotels so that was amazing! It was very clean, bathroom was stocked with nice quality towels which always is the mark of a good hotel. The bed, pillows, and linens were very high quality and comfortable It was quiet; each unit is individual, a little independent cottage and they are just right and full amenities inside. Each unit has its own parking space, so you can easily haul your bags in. My only regret was that we could not stay longer!! But I'll be back again and recommend this place for couples or anyone really. , Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
With the word "Resort" in the name, I had high expectations and was honestly concerned when we first arrived at the property, as each "room" was a portable or mobile-home type unit. Once I opened the door and looked inside, I was relieved to find an updated, cute and very clean unit!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Quite disappointing -- hotel was over-priced. We won't be staying there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
