      The room was clean and well presented. The view of the lake was nice. We were in Coopertown to see the baseball hall of fame and the hotel was well priced for the closeness.We would definately stay there again.

      My husband and I stayed at the Lake View Motel for two nights. A short scenic drive from downtown Cooperstown, the motel has beautiful views of Lake Otsego.

    Budget Inn Motel is open 24 hours a day. Lots of attraction nearby. Cooperstown Hall of Fame half hour drive, Herkimer Diamond Mine 8 miles, 50 feet from New York State Thruway toll booth, Erie Canal Marina 50 feet away. Property is a very secure brick building with indoor lobby and convenient parking area.

    terrible motel.... service sucked, no internet ,no breakfast ,ohhh a free pot of mud they called coffee in the lobby and advertised as 30 mins from baseball hall of fame and it was more like an hour at best it was a place to lay your head overnight

    The place had no service at all. We went to check in at 2pm and there was no one available. We went back several hours later. The mattress and boxspring were wrapped in plastic and the pillows hard as rocks. There was very little internet signal, after many tries, it allowed us access but we could not even google anything.The lights didn't work and […] to make them come on we had to continue to fiddle with the bulbs. There was no bath just a stand up shower which was filthy . When we left the manager said, "How was your stay", I replied, "terrible". He just smiled and said bye. Read more

    Motel - looked pretty iffy on the outside. Wasn't sure whether or not to go in. Right next to Denny's and off the thruway very convenient. Desk attendant was polite. No problems.     But otherwise not a bad motel. A little shabby around the edges and the parking was horrible... We stayed when the place was booked solid and there was no spot left for us. We had to get manager permission to park at the Denny's that shares the lot ( signs posted will tell you they Tow your car if you're not eating at Denny's )—The hotel itself was […] clean, but had thin walls. You could hear clearly things happening in other rooms and you could smell cigarette smoke from the smoking rooms in the non-smoking room. Despite this I do feel comfortable recommending this to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay. Oh but do be sure to bring your own Shampoo they don't have any complimentary bottles! :) Read more
