The hotel scene was very nice and can't complain about the rooms, but be prepared for NOT so great service from the restaurants. The workers who are locals def need a class or two on manners. There is def more country natives that visit the resort then tourist so they tend to be all over the place. This is an excellent value: 2 persons, 3 meals a day, open drinks, and an air conditioned, clean room with a Pacific Ocean view, in the Tropics! The Maya sculpture reproductions and well tended gardens made the place very inviting, and the buildings are well kept and pools inviting.We do recommend staying farther from block 1/Lobby 1 and the low numbered […] rooms of block 2, as the disco and bar and pool music are quite loud and close to lobby 1 . Blocks 3 and 4 look good for that reason, block 5 is quiet but farther from the ocean. Make your room choice wishes known when you make reservations, as check in is en masse in the convention center in a huge room, your name will be called and to a table number in Spanish to check in for your keys; you will probably need to wait for another room to open up in a day or so to make changes.Think of it as run like a cruise ship on the beach, and you will navigate the system! All rooms have an oceanside view however. Not all rooms have a refrigerator, even though the Hotels.com summary says so. The pools are clean, the drinks plentiful (but not strong), lots of activities for kids and adults, there is a decent gym for free, free wireless internet, nice spa services; the best of the reservation only restaurants we tried was the Maya Steakhouse, the Bambu was a very poor imitation of Thai food, and Fusion was okay if you can eat seafood. Be sure to make dinner reservations in the morning as space is limited and there is competition for reservations, there are 2 seatings a night en masse (like a cruise ship). As an alternative, the main dining halls are on a drop in basis and have decent food selections for breakfast and dinner, and there is a snack/lunch available as well. The security was impressive, and there is an on site tour planning office, with great tours to archaeology sites like Ceren and Copan. The sceniary was marvelous and the beach was beautiful. The service was great and the people were extremely nice. The entertainment was great. Check in and check-out needs a little improvement and certain restaurants needs improvement on the food but the steak house was great. Trust me I will be back soon.

Check in was really bad . It felt like waiting at the DMV or a hospital. They have you at the conference room for almost an hour. Food in not that great for the money you pay. In order to have drinks , you have to wait in line for 5 to 10 minutes, at least it was my experience. I love to stay there because it is a peaceful place. I have been 4 times down there and find it a place to rest, to enjoy nature. Every morning i get up at 5:30 on the morning and walk around the place, it is really beatiful. Even there is a lot of people it is peaceful. I will get back again. César.

La estancia en ese hotel fue buena, es un hotel bonito, conciertos inconvenientes taels como la comida no es tan buena, ylas bebidas son las mismas yno suon muy variadas, por lo demas bien.

Y si por desgracia te roban o se te pierde algo "Royal Decameron Salinitas No se Hace responsable por objetos perdidos dentro ni fuera de la habitacion". Det är ett helt ok all inklusive hotell. Området är rent och välskött. Fri dricka och ett par restauranger som erhåller "snacks" mellan måltiderna. Snacks är plockmat, typ hamburgare, kyckling och annat. Frukosten är buffé, den är helt ok. Lunchen är också buffé, nackdelen med lunchen är att många med dagskort också har tillgång till den. Middagen kan […] vara antingen buffé eller bordsbeställning. Bordsbeställningen kan endast göras från kl.07:00 samma dag. Var uppe tidigt, annars blir det buffé även till middag. Vi beställde bord de dagar vi var där, maten och servicen var bra. Det är ett härligt pool område med möjlighet att bada i normal pool och havspool. Bada i havet är härligt, men tänk på tidvattnet. Es necesario que las directivas del hotel entrenen a la mayoría de los empleados para que atiendan amablemente. No tuvimos apoyo para la maleta. LLegamos a las 12 del dia y nos cobraron 30 dolares para estar dentro de las instalaciones, hasta la entrega de la habitacion. Sin embargo no hacen lo contrario cuando la salida es muy en la mañana. Pareciera […] que como el pago es anticipado, la atención a los huéspedes pasa a un tercer plano. La comida es poco variada y las reservaciones para los restaurantes están diseñadas para que la gente no pueda asistir. El lugar es lindo, el paisaje y la vista espectaculares, aunque totalmente aislado. Realmente todo se salvaria si la atencion fuera buena. Como ejemplo, en la piscina estabamos bajo un parasol y no lo quitaron sin ninguna explicación, manifestando el empleado que solo cumplía ordenes, cuando alrededor había otros parasoles totalmente desocupados. Este tipo de atropellos no es lo que se espera cuando las personas planeamos un descanso o unas vacaciones. Requerimos un medico, servicio que fue oportuno aunque un poco costoso. No hubo claridad acerca del horario de atención en enfermería por parte de ninguno de los empleados del hotel. Cada uno daba una información diferente al respecto. execelente condicion del hotel

Las instalaciones fisicas del hotel son funcionales para disfrutar de una estadia y disfrutar de ese lugar, asimismo el personal que atienden son muy atentos, dispuestos a resolverle cualquier problema a los huespedes. Me dio mucho gusto que el personal del hotel se encargaran de tener todo preparado (alimentos, piscinas limpias, etc.)
