This hotel made our visit to Fez worthwhile. The roof-top view is worth every Dirham you spend. Ask for your breakfast on the roof, the view is worth a million dollars - 360 views all around and the hotel is right in the Medina. Every evening we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the roof each evening at sunset (take a cab to the New City, grocery store Acima stocks a great selection of alcohol). Mohammed takes care of you well - I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

The hotel it self was gorgeous, and the location can't be beat--right next to the Medina. The room was very clean, but we did have an issue where we returned at about 5:00 from a day of sightseeing, and our room had not been cleaned. They rectified it after we asked about it twice, but it was still a bit of a nuissance. I think some of this might be due to the fact that it was a newer hotel, and believe that the service is likely to get better. The breakfast, also could have been better. Overall though, I would not hesitate to recommendt he property or stay here agin.

The views of the Medina are beautiful, especially at night. The beautiful and traditional Moroccan decor was exceptional. Being a bit out of city was nice after a long day seeing the wonderful city of Fez and a welcoming place to relax and have tea on the balcony or swim in the beautiful pool. Fez is not to be missed during a trip to Morocco and Les Merinides is a great place to stay!

I read about nightime noise from the club on the ground floor in reviews before I left. When I checked in I asked for a quiet room. There was no problem... in accommodating me and in 6 nights including a weeekend I was not disturbed once. The staff were friendly and eager to be of service.
