This hotel is a very nice bed and breakfast. It's just outside Cooperstown, only 15 minutes away, which is perfect if you want to stay near the town and not pay too much. Perfect little spot for couples.

Our family had a great time staying here. The rooms were spacious and it was close enough to downtown Cooperstown but still had the feel of being in the country. My kids loved playing in the beautiful garden.

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a place to stay for the weekend to check out the Baseball Hall of Fame and some of the other sites around Cooperstown. We opted to try out a bed and breakfast for a few extra bucks and are very happy we did. The grounds that the Hayden Creek Inn are on are beautiful and it's great to sit and relax before or after […] a long day of seeing the sites. The owner is very friendly and full of great suggestions for us to check out. They even have some cool baseball memorabilia in the breakfast area. Our room was a nice size and in great condition. The location is about 15-20 minutes from the Hall of Fame but definitely worth the drive. The drive to the Hall of Fame goes down a beautiful lake so there's some beautiful scenery to make the drive nice and peaceful. There is also an opera house down about 5 minutes down the road that many guests seemed to be staying for. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat and enjoyed every second of my stay there. A nice inn; off the beaten path; away from the busyness of Cooperstown, but an easy ride in. Beautiful yard, gardens, etc. Excellent breakfast. Would stay there again.

A sweet little B&B. The room was quaint, clean, and well appointed. The nice glassed in breakfast room overlooks a beautiful secluded back yard with nice landscaping, flowers, and a little stream one can sit by with coffee or a drink. The proprietor is a quiet kind man. Location is in a small village with few amenities near the north end of Otsego Lake […] but the hustle and bustle of Cooperstown at the other end of the lake is just a beautiful ten mile lakeview drive down the road. Room was large and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked. Shower was marginal but workable. It was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was pleasant. Owners and guests were very pleasant.

Great value. Our room was spacious, pleasant. Lovely grounds with outdoor seating for leisure. Nice fresh fruit with breakfast. inn keeper was helpful, polite and his adorable 3 year old son occasionally visiting the dining/living area was an added pleasure.

Nice bed and breakfast convenient to Cooperstown. Beautiful backyard area. Room was nice, but bathroom shower was a bit moldy and toilet was stained. Took a long time for hot water to begin running in shower. Breakfast could have been better, just continental. Never been to a bed and breakfast where breakfast wasn't actually made hot and fresh.

This B&B more than met our expectations for cleanliness and comfort. The only down side for us is that we expected it to be closer to the Cooperstown All-Star Village. For folks who want a nice place near the Fenimore Art Museum, the Farmers' Museum, the Otsego Lake, or Glitterglass, the Hayden Creek Inn's it!

It was exactly the kind of place we were looking for. Close enough to Cooperstown (10 miles) and far enough to make you feel as if you were in the country. I had my 30 year old son and seven year old grandson (Baseball Hall of Fame Fans) and they loved it too. The Hayden Inn is an older bed and breakfast 9 miles from Cooperstown, NY and the Baseball Hall Fame. We found the Inn to be in need of repair in many areas, front porch, hall way, bath room, and other details. The bed room was comfortable but with much older bed coverings and furnishing as well as not quiet as clean as other B & B we have stayed in […] the past. We let,also, felt that there should have been Kleenex provided and a higher grade of toilet paper in the bath room. On the plus, side the breakfast room and the breakfast was excellent. The garden behind the Inn was very attractive with flowers in bloom and a creek running through it. The garden also had plenty of seating for relaxing in this beautify setting. There were also beautify flowers lining the front yard. The Inn Keepers were very gracious and seem to be working to up grade their B & B. Read more

Our room was spacious and well-maintained. The towels were big and fluffy. The best part of our stay was at breakfast. People sit around a large rectangular table. The guests are almost all intelligent and well-spoken, and the conversations over breakfast were invariably interesting. Glimmerglass Opera House is but five minutes away by car.

This was a lovely inn for a family visit to Cooperstown. Not high-luxe, but clean and comfortable, in an absolutely beautiful setting. The garden in back is delightful. Breakfast was a simple buffet of homemade or bakery-quality pastries, juice and cereal, and you could eat in the garden. I took a beautiful run down the country road it sits on.

Nice little bed and breakfast close to Cooperstown. Beautiful garden in the rear, with meandering stream which you look at while eating a very nice breakfast. We went to attend games at Dreams Fields and it was a little ways away but the drive was worth it.

I choose this B&B based on the reviews here, so I was surprised that it was not as the reviewers had described. It is very small, which is fine, but I had to move to a different room because of "reservation problems" on the second night of my stay, without a real explanation. Neither room was particularly clean, and in fact, the second had a good amount […] of cobwebs on the lamps and drapes. Don't expect a sit-down B&B kind of breakfast, either - more like a basic hotel's free buffet. Make your own waffles, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit. This is definitely a no frills place, and there are probably much better deals in the town of Cooperstown itself. Read more

The Hayden Creek Inn is only 10 minutes or so from Cooperstown located in a small village. The village has a few antique stores that are interesting. The Inn itself is comfortable and serves a good breakfast with a variety of food choices. Joe the proprietor is friendly and eager to assist when needed.
