Nice and clean. Caters to the handicap and had the special equipment in the very roomy bathroom. Location was a little difficult to find, but if you call in advance to let the manager know you will be past his office hours, he is willing to work with you. That made it so easy to want to come back. Nice place and he made great coffee!!!!

kind of out of the way. a strange vibe. simple, clean comfortable beds though. very quiet room although just off the road. the desk manager put out mini bagels and cream cheese and other little things for breakfast which was a nice touch. just a little strange. gigantic bathroom, one sink. big room.

It wasn't my first (or second) choice as other places were booked--but I was pleasantly surprised that the place was pretty well kept up, w/ decent sized room and a huge bathroom. The bed was pretty comfortable as well. Drawbacks: somewhat noisy, because of highway traffic and air conditioning units; tacky, institutional furnishings and a kitchen-style linoleum floor in the bathroom that was a bit sticky. Overall--OK motel, good price.

Hotel condition and cleanliness were excellent/better than rating implies. Some street noise in front rooms, but livable.

We were home visiting our kids for Christmas and this was a great place to stay especially for the rates. My wife who was local was impressed with the room we got for the price we paid. It was a little out of the way for Ojai but close enough to everything to still be convenient.

Reviewed by Taylor Jane of San Gabriel on Jul 10, 2007
It was a scheme for hotels.com to get people to stay in this hotel, which was in the middle of no where! Although the distance wasn't too far to Santa Barbara, the price was way too expensive for its accomodations. Don't stay here unless you are desperate.

We were assigned to a room upstairs not facing the main road which I would suggest to anyone. It was very quiet, an A+. The beds were very comfortable, an A+. Large bathroom, very clean, an A+. This would be the perfect stop if you are visiting Ojai or other neighboring cities. Note: route 33 is the same road as N. Ventura Ave. If you are visiting Santa Barbara as we were, keep in mind that the hotel is approximately 30 minutes away.

This was a great place to stop for the night. It had some of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have ever slept in. The microwave and fridge in the room was a real plus. After a long day of driving, it was a great place to stop and get a good nights rest before hitting the road again.
