The Sousse Palace is in a great location, not only a few minutes' walk to the medina, but also in very close proximity to the Sousse train station. I arrived from Tunis with two large bags and was still able to make it on foot to the hotel in about five minutes. While there are several good restaurants and bars around the hotel and on the nearby Boujaffar Beach, the Sousse Palace also offers their own complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet, and the bar in the lobby is a great place to kick back and have a relaxing beer or shisha. They do not have a nightclub but there is a cabaret on the ground floor that is open late; otherwise there are plenty of nightclubs on the aforementioned Boujaffar Beach. The tourist hot spot of Port el-Kantaoui is also a short train ride away. My room was not the most posh I've ever seen but was clean and comfortable, and since I spent most of my time out of the room, this was perfectly acceptable. I would definitely go back to the Sousse Palace, as the rates were very reasonable (though I did go during January) and the location and amenities were great in creating an enjoyable vacation experience.

Definitely not a five star hotel, the garden could be in better shape, the building too. The all-inclusive-system works quite well, food surprisingly tasty. lots of elderly guests, service generally ok.

The hotel was great, i really enjoyed my stay, the New Years Eve Gala was the best New Year ive had in ages and i didnt even realise anything would be happening, the only critism i have is some of the bar staff could learn how to smile a bit more, most looked miserable all the time!

The hotel food was excellent as was the animation team however the bar staff were not very good. The tumblers used for lager were small half pint size and by the time it arrived you were ready to order another. the bars also frequently ran out of glasses. They were interested if booked with thompsons and hadn't really heard of Expedia.All in all it […] was fine however they need to sort out the drinks side of the all inclusive. Read more

Dopo essere stato in numerosi alberghi 4 stelle di Sousse e dintorni, consiglio il Marhaba Beach a chiunque cerchi un discreto hotel, senza andare in un 5 stelle. Ricordo che gli standard tunisini sono notevolmente inferiori a quelli europei. La cucina è accettabile, benché la prevalenza di ospiti tedeschi e russi, o del nord Europa, ne condizionino […] le scelte. Ma questo vale anche per gli altri alberghi. L'animazione è scadente, ma almeno è presente. La struttura offre quanto necessario e anche di più. L'offerta del "all inclusive" penalizza la qualità delle bevande disponibili, decisamente sotto standard. Personalmente vi consiglio l'hotel Mouradi Skanes, vicino a Monastir, ma se volete restare a Sousse questo è il miglior compromesso prezzo/qualità. Però se volete davvero un 4 stelle, allora andate in un 5 stelle. Read more

cette hotel d'après mes renseignement doit etre le plus ancien de sousse ce qui explique un état lamentable des sanitaires. Durant mon séjour je n'ai pas pu prendre 1 seul fois une douche convenable ou agréable l'eau était soit brulande soit glacé, impossible de régler la bonne température. de plus l'état de la salle de bain est lamentable on avait […] l'imprétion d'etre dans des toilettes public.
