Boutique Eco Lodge Casa Maravilla - Cabarete

This was a beautiful place with comfortable rooms and lots to do. Great time for a great price! Some reviewers complain about the food. However, if you stick with Dominican style food (pork, chicken, rice and beans) you'll love it.

Beautiful, tranquil hotel on the outskirts of Cabarete. The owner is super-nice, the pool is beautiful. there's a great view. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in this place. For the price, the place was wonderful!! Suggested to others and would return in the future. Only real downfall, the insistance on getting a VIP membership which is super expensive and we do not consider at all worthwhile.

I think it is a great hotel for this price. If you are planning to stay most of the time outside the hotel, I don't see a reason to complain. It was great to have a small kitchen to prepare meals!! Also, even though the staff told me that the wifi would not work in my room, I had no problems make it working (except that the staff gave me the wrong password all three times I asked for it - but after trying a few modifications it worked). One funny thing seems to be that room keys work at several, or maybe all, different rooms. So, a night at about 2.00 AM a stranger unlocked the door and walked in to my room, but left immediately when he saw he was in the wrong place.

2nd time staying at this hotel, service was great. employee were friendly rooms were clean shows at night were great. the only thing we didn't like it was d pool didn't have a bar, we had to go to d other hotel next door that has a bar on d pool and also you have to pay for drinks at the night club. is suppost to be a all inclusive resort, and they need to play more English music so the night club could stay crowded
