Klaus K Hotel - Helsinki

Stayed a couple of nights - nice rooms and great breakfast. The week before was in town and stayed at the GLO two blocks away and the rooms are twice the size and the bathrooms are big enough to have a party in for the same price.

The hotel was great. And the people were very accommodating. I would like to point out specifically Juan who worked the hotel's great breakfast buffet. I would hire him in a minute. Great hotel if you like a boutique hotel that puts a lot of emphasis on design. I liked that it was themed after the Finnish national epic - the Kalevala. My room was tiny - way too small, but the breakfast included was excellent. Right downtown in the center of Helsinki - convenient to everything.

I have to say the service was extremely helpful. They bent over backwards to ensure I was well taken care of. I normally don't recognize one person in particular but I must say Rosa couldn't have been a better receptionist, really went above and beyond.

The location of the hotel is about as good as you can get--right near the Esplanade and the major sites of interest. Everything was in easy walking distance, except the Sibelius monument. Klaus K was a wonderful place to stay for the week we were in Helsinki.Can't find a better hotel staff who completely went out of their way to make our stay super enjoyable...The bar,night club and Italian restaurant were excellent...Buffet breakfast could have had less fish and more traditional food like omlettes, cereal and maybe some french toast […] or pancakes once in a while...Great Coffee (no sweet&low)...Great pasteries...On the 4th floor and we could hear quite alot of the traffic below....bedroom/bathroom real good..Need to have converter plug! Hotel was just as advertised and rated. For a longer stay (2 weeks) I am glad I upgraded to a larger room, which was fine! Service and location great. On a quieter street (which was nice) but still very close to everything. All in all, I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Klaus K was very close to all the landmarks, transportation, shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful and the breakfast offered great nutritional choices. Rooms were efficient, well lit, and comfortable. The size of the bathroom was average, but they supplied fantastic shampoo and body wash. Would definitely stay there again.

We were thrilled with our night at the Klaus K hotel. The location was within a short walk of the market and sights. The staff was REALLY friendly. The breafkast was fabulous, too! Very cool hotel, walking distance from train station. Great breakfast buffet, good night club right in lobby and there are about 10 night clubs within a 10 block radius, including a decent tex mex place. Decent gym, compact but nicely designed room and bath. Great bath products. Would definitely stay there again.

I was staying in a one bed single room. This was a bit small, but of value in a expensive city like Helsinki. This is truly a boutique hotel with Finnish designed furnitures finely selected. I kinda smirked when I saw a Arabia Factory pot displayed in the nearby Deisgn Museum. That was exactly the same pot used for porridge in the hotel breakfast.

Klaus K. - a true designer hotel smack downtown close to all the City sights and attractions. Excellent service and quality. A must use for anyone hooking up a reasonable price. The rooms are not big, but very elegantly decorated and functionally extremely practical and witty. A great hotel.

There is an awful lot to like about this hotel - great location, very cool interior design, great breakfast buffet, etc. etc. HOWEVER. The rooms are very small - 'queen' = conventional 'double' bed (it is very comfortable though), and there is really nowhere to put your cases/clothes which makes it difficult if you are there for anytime longer than […] overnight (we were there for 4 days). AND. There is an extremely noisy nightclub that rocks hard and loud until 3.30 or 4.00 am on Friday and Saturday nights making it impossible to sleep.
