I was traveling with a group of 6, and Andean Wings was the perfect hotel for us in Cusco! Unfortunately a few of us succumbed to a stomach bug (not related to food or altitude), and Jorge and Maria took such good care of us! Jorge went above and beyond creating concoctions that were sure to cure all of our aliments, and Maria was sure that our rooms were cleaned at our convenience! Wonderful boutique hotel with outstanding service, old world charm, and wonderful breakfasts. Situated in the heart of Cusco, just 2 blocks from Plaza De Armas, I would definitley stay there again!

The hotel was a great value. The room was bright and clean. The linens were clean. The bathroom was spotless. Housekeeping did a great job. The room was a bit small but we were really only ever in the room to shower and sleep. The hotel provided hot tea when we checked in and a delicious breakfast each morning. The room was a bit cold but that is typical in Cusco. The bed was always warm at night though thanks to the blankets and a hot water bottle provided by the hotel. It was a bit of a walk from the main plaza but a cab ride was only about 2-3 dollars. I would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel! We had a little issue with the airport transfer upon arrival (there was some miscommunication and they did not pick us up, so make sure to email your travel information and get a confirmation) but with a bit of explaining, the hotel made up for it and we were happy overall. The courtyard and overall layout of the hotel is just so pretty. Our loft room was interesting and really nice, and the breakfast was excellent as well. Everything was clean and well put together. There is a bar/tapas restaurant located there too that provided some entertainment for us also. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and had a great experience. It is towards the top of town, so if you can't walk uphill to get home from the main areas, then that may be a problem for some (but not for us).

The staff was helpful in obtaining taxi for tours and recommended a great restaurant, Limo on the main square, very good! Room was clean. Absolutely loved the chocolate left on the pillow for evening turn down, but was completely spoiled with the hot water bottle to warm the bed, loved it!

This is a very well cared for, clean hotel that is also reasonably priced. The common area was very nicely kept and (in our case) decorated for Christmas.... It has a comfortable bar area. The desk clerk and staff were very professional and helpful -- generally good English and very accommodating to our limited Spanish. The room was clean and comfortable. It was tight on space because we had a triple, but a standard would likely be more than spacious enough. Bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water, and the toilet flushed properly (not always the case in other hotels as we learned). This hotel also has an excellent location -- just a few minutes' walk to the Plaza de Armes, restaurants and shopping. One word of warning: they do not know how to make American style coffee! I checked in to the hotel and my room looked like a prison cell with a TV. Bathroom was horribly out of date and the street noise was very loud. It looked nothing like the hotel that I saw online. Staff did not speak English well at all and the didn't even have change for a customer to break. Horrible experience.

Lovely hotel, very cosy and comfortable . However I was disappointed the reception staff were quite cold and unfriendly. They didn't welcome me on arrival, didn't explain anything about the hotel itself, ie breakfast, bar, internet etc, I had to ask for a map and prompted them to explain about hotel facilities but they answered very unenthusiastically. El primer dia no hubo agua caliente pero arreglaron el problema despues. Nuestro cuarto tenia una baranda que no se necesita para nada y si hace que sea dificil transitar por la habitacion.

Grundsätzlich war das Hotel sehr gut. Das Einzige was einen Europäer etwas stört, ist dass man das Klopapier nicht ins Klo wirft sondern in einen Mülleimer.

me gusto mucho el hotel pero creo que la atencion podria haber sido un poco mas amigable. al principio hubo un mal entendido y parecian enojados con nosotros todo el tiempo :( pero de ahi todo bien limpio, bonito seguro y muy cerca de la plaza de armas...nos gusto mucho:)

O café da manhã é bom, bem variado, com frutas, sucos, iogurtes etc e começa bem cedo, a partir das 4hs, o que é interessante para quem foi fazer trilha como eu. Tem um desing bem legal, para chegar ao quarto parece um labirinto. Gostei muito. Não tenho nada a reclamar. Fica próximo de tudo, da via principal onde tem bancos casa de cambio farmacias […] etc , da plaza d' armas e restaurantes. tem agua quente que funciona bem e camas de solteiros grandes. Só achei ruim que quando quis ficar mais dias eles não fizeram a nova reserva no hotel, tive de fazer pela internet. Read more
