Registration too confusing and the receptionist too fast to explain the vicinity. AC also too loud. Check in time too late at 4 pm. Extra fees not mentioned during check-in. Not close to the beach.

we were VERY dissatisfied with the room, amenities, and staff of the resort. We recommend paying more and staying at the Grand Sandestin like our friends did. NOTE: The two beds were FULL SIZE beds, so they were small and the room was crowded with two adults and two children.

Completely disappointed. Reservation center, which serves as the front desk, was 1 1/2 miles away from our room. If we got locked out of our room or needed some assistance, we were out of luck. The overall appearance was depressing. Plus they hit me with a reservation fee without my knowledge.

Booked 1 night. Checked in at 3, but couldn't get into the room until after 7:30, because it hadn't been cleaned yet, and had to check out by 11 the next morning. Not worth it considering the price. 400 for the room, 50 taxes and fees, 48 for the resort fee, and 60 for the cleaning fee. Would not stay here again. Ever.

Great Place ... but beware of hidden charges. I was hit with "Resort Charges" and "Cleaning Fees" ... I assumed that when I booked with Hotels.com that the Cleaning Fees were included. So BEWARE.

No room service in the condos. In fact, you pay more in your resort fee to have it cleaned when you leave. Too far from the beach. No one asked to help with our bags. Unheated pool after we called and they told us otherwise. No carts to help you move your luggage to the rooms. No sign of "resort" service or luxury anywhere. Hotel was in need of an update. Paid for a bay view and when we checked in at 8 pm they said our room wasn't ready yet and would it be OK if they put us in another room. After dinner we went to the room and found we were now on the ground floor with a parking lot view. Front desk closed and we were stuck. Will call the resort direct next time.

just stayed for one night and was charged $160 for housekeeping fee. Wish they readjusted this rate because this is the same charge as the room. Too pricey

My family stayed in village studio, but this room was smaller than I expected. even more no view, no internet service, and too long distance from building gate. Village studio is just A SMALL ROOM with TWO BEDS, don't be expected anymore. We stayed Pilot House, 1st floor but we can meet no staff in the building.

overall it was very good. We were told by hotels.com that our room had a pool and garden view. We arrived a little early so they put us in a room with not much of a view so we were a bit dissappointed but the lacation was great and the room was nice enough. The whole area is beautiful and a short walk away to Baytown village restaurants and shops.

I am somewhat surprised we were not given ANY information about the resort or any of its details at check in. We got a boring room at 9 PM when we checked it. Small. The electric wall socket was loose and dangling in the bathroom. Clean though. We wanted to be able to use an indoor pool or hot tub (it was cool). There were none they said. It was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. Easy walk down to beautiful white sandy beaches with very happy people around. Both mornings were cool, but the walks on the beach were well worth it. When booking through hotels.com, don't forget to budget for the resort fees. My husband and I booked a room on Expedia at the La Ciel hotel. The room was clean and modern. However, we happened to have a door in between our room and the neighbors. The neighbors were playing loud music and speaking loudly so we requested a new room.
