"Nice place, good deal for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.
"nice comfotable room with updated decor"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
I enjoyed my stay but did not get to eat breakfast because they ran out of a lot of items an hour before they stopped serving it.
"Close to Universal/priced OK"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.
"Very flexable and aim to please"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

"Not bad for what you get."
Read reviews before booking and don't agree with some comments. Booked a 3 room suite with fireworks view. Plenty of room for two couples an 8yr old and grandma. Rooms were clean and stocked well with towels and toiletries. If we needed anything we just asked the cleaning lady when we would see her cart on our floor.Pool area was very nice for swimming. […] Food and drinks at pool area definitly over priced for quality. Irish restuarant was'nt bad, but they did get me with tip incuded in the bill. Do not recommend going to the onsite convience store. Ridicuosly over priced! If you rented a car, theirs a walmart less than quarter mile away. Read more

"Great pool for kids"
Very private and quiet on the 8 th floor overlooking the undeveloped lots-the 3 bedroom suite worked well for our 3 generation family and the kitchen had everything we needed
"Great place for a family stay"
We had a great stay at this hotel. We had a two bedroom suite which was perfect for our family of four. It is very close to Disney and other Orlando attractions. There is a Walmart across the street which is very convenient for stocking the kitchen. The kids loved the two pools. It is a very family friendly place. Some people complained that you have […] to pay for housekeeping services. We personally loved that people were not going in and out of our room. There is a washer dryer combo that worked great. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The suite was clean but it could have used a more thorough vacuuming. Our only other issue is we would have liked room darkening drapes in the bedrooms. For the price is was an outstanding stay and we would definitely stay here again in the future. Read more
"Great for families"
Staff helpful and friendly. Concierge service was outstanding. Good place to stay for families. Having a kitchen was great to save money on meals. Pools were great.
"Loved this place!"
We has an amazing time here. Our room was on the 14th floor and had a fantastic view of the pool. We were also very impressed with how fast the elevators were. We never had to wait more than 30 seconds. The Irish Pub has friendly service and they cook a great NY Strip. We will stay here again. Very close to everything.

"vacation place"
Lake Buena Vista Resort is my favorite place to stay in Orlando. The convenience to all the parks, Outlets, restaurants, etc., is outstanding. I will recommend it to all of my friends.
"great stay"
This place is nice ! Rooms are large and well kept. Irish pub , pizza hut express and small store on property. The pool is awesome with the pirate ship slide and Lani s luau for a drink or snack. Best of all the front gate to Disney is on average( if you get the stoplight) 5 minutes away .

"Lake Bunea Vista Resort Village & Spa"
Great value for the money. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit and it was perfect. Excellent staff who are very nice and conceirge is great. No daily maid service unless you pay extra per service. This is what provides most of the cost savings. We did not really need it so we took out our own garbage and rehung our towels. Great pool for the kids. "Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa"
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is within 15 minutes of all the makor parks and is easy to find. The pool was fund and includes a pirate ship with a slide which the kids enjoyed. The restaurant on the premises Frankie Farelli's was enjoyable and had reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here again.

"General Review"
Loved the pool area by the pirate ship... the pool area offered three jacuzzis and has a great tiki bar. Hammocks were a nice thought but you have to be a small person in order to not touch the ground when laying in them. The pool is a zero entry pool that was great for young kids and adults alike (could put chairs in the water)... our older kids enjoyed […] the water slide.... there was also a sun deck above the bar... wear shoes if you go up there, the decks chairs are on shingle and I burned the bottom of my foot from the hot shingles. We did not go to the other pool, which looked to be very laid back. Our room was nice and very clean... quality of beds was decent but not great; the sheets/linens were thin which was dissapointing. We were surprised to see granite counter tops but skimpy bedding... but the overall room was great! Read more
"Great Family Hotel"
Our family had a great stay. The hotel pool was like a mini water park which was a bonus treat for the kids. The bonus for me was the outlet stores that were walking distance. We plan to stay here on our next trip to Disney. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
"If all you need is a lot of space..."
Arrived at the hotel and our AC was broken called the service desk and 30 minutes later they fixed it. This was disappointing because we arrived to a 80 degree room. Wifi service was available but not accessible enough for browsing. TVs were very old fashioned not that we planned on watching a lot of TV. Quality of the beds and sheets were another […] story. Sheets felt dirty looking and old. It was best not to think about it. Beds were not comfortable at all. This hotel was great if you are traveling with a lot of people because there was a lot of space but as for quality bed and sheets i wished i brought an inflatable bed and my own sheets. Read more

"Great for getaway with the kids"
Staff was great, every single one had a smile and greeting whenever you passed them. Rooms are nicely furnished, clean and spacious, appliances were great. Bed was new but rock hard. Great pool and tiki bar. Nice restaruant and store on property, outlet mall within walking distance. Decent gym for light workouts and cardio. Our kids, 8 and 10, loved […] it. Close enough to attractions if you have a car and you avoid the crowds and prices of staying in the parks. Read more
"Horrible Check-in process!"
We had a reservation a got there around 5pm. Had to wait in a huge line for 45 minutes and once we finally got to the front of the line our rooms were not ready. They spent another 15 minutes walkey-talkey ing to the cleaning people and we were told they would be ready shortly. One was and the other they hadn't even started cleaning, had to wait another […] hour just to get in my room. Terrible. Read more
"Very Comfortable and Spacious"
We were very surprised when we stayed at this hotel last week. The first person who greeted us at the check-in counter was very nice and very helpful. Once we entered our room (we had the three bedroom/three bath model), we were delighted at all of the room. Seven us fit perfectly without feeling cramped. My only complaints were that the bed sheets […] were too small for the bed, but this was resolved with a call to the front desk. The only other thing lacking was the shuttle service to the theme parks (they only pick up from the hotel twice a day and they drop you off and pick you up at EPCOT). Fortunately, the hotel is right around the corner from the Disney parks, so we just drove to the parks each day and paid $14 a day to park. Also, if you plan on staying for more than a few days, bring extra toilet paper with you as they do not replenish it unless you pay (there are three different levels of cleaning ranging from $5 to $40). There is a washer and dryer in the unit so you are able to wash the towels and reuse them. The kids loved the pirate ship pool and we loved the bar at the pool. The drinks were stiff and the bartenders were friendly. Just be cautious to check your receipt because all but one of the bartenders included 15% gratuity and didn't mention it to us. There is also a smaller pool between buildings 1 and 2 that is nice to go to if you don't want to deal with the big pool and it has a decent sized hot tub. Overall, we had a nice stay and we plan on staying there the next time we go to Orlando. Read more
"Great for Families"
The pool was fantastic--very big, and lots of different depths. The three whirlpool tubs ensured I could find a place to relax and still see the pool. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed cooking our meals and relaxing in our suite. We would definitely stay here again.
"PERFECT for large group travelling on a budget!"
I was here this past week for spring break with 8 other friends. The suites are very spacious and it fit us 9 perfectly. We were able to get breakfast from the convenient store right on the premise. Goods there are more expensive than your average grocery store, but it covers all your daily needs - there's even a Pizza Hut Express in the small convenient […] store! The bed and pillows are a little outdated, but it didn't seem dirty or unsanitary at all. There's a TV in every room, and a huge one for the living room. We were in a corner room, so it was nice and quiet. We were able to make good use of the shuttle service to both Disney and Universal parks. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful and friendly. Right next to the hotel, walkable distance, is the Lake Buena Vista Outlet Mall. If you're part of a large group who's travelling on a budget, this hotel is definitely the #1 pick! Read more

"Good, but a few tips"
The hotel outer appearence and lobby were great. The pirate ship pool was amazing, great for young kids, lots of splash area, and 1 to 3 feet deep in many areas. We booked a 2 bedroom, but were upgraded to a 3. However, it was the wheelchair accessable room. Which provided us with a few discomforts such as no shower door allowing water to escape and […] a large draft. The windows only had faux white wood blinds, no curtians, so all the street lights and sunlight were unavoidable. Also, the carpets had staining and damage. I do not recc. the fireworks view at extra charge, they were distant. also hotel charges extra for new towels, sheets. Read more
"Close to Downtown Disney"
e did say "sorry about that". Unacceptable. We never had enough towels, but I thought there would be a charge for them, so we didn't call for more. There is NO place to hang a wet towel in the bath, so they were slung over doors and doorknobs etc. never able to dry. We also ran out of toilet tissue for 8 people, there should have been plenty under sink […] without asking for more. We actually liked the place in spite of all of these issues. We will do it different next time. Read more
"Great Stay"
Really did our research and all of the write ups were dead on. This is a condo rented out as a hotel. We loved it. Had a 2 bedroom; king master with whirlpool tub and huge shower. Kids had two full beds in one room and a bath to themselves. Room was very clean. True the bed matress isn't pillow soft but it was great for my back. Kids loved the pirate […] ship pool. Was only five minutes to Disney. Plenty of food around if you don't want to cook. Will stay here again! Read more

"Very nice and convenient"
Reasonable price and convenient location. Nice facility overall. Kitchen and laundry a definite plus.
"Hotel with pirate pool!"
This was a great hotel for our family of four. The rooms were clean and the furnishings were fairly new and well maintained. The cleaning staff was great about making sure we had enough towels and supplies for the fully functional kitchen. The balcony was nice and so was the master bedroom / bathroom. The pirate pool and bar were great fun. The location […] was great for the parks and Downtown Disney. We would suggest this hotel to our friends and family. Read more

"Great budget option"
We stayed in a three bedroom suite which worked out great for my large family. In the past we always stayed on Disney property but it wasn't in the budget this year. This hotel was similar to a Holiday Inn in terms of basic acceptability, everything was fine, but nothing awesome. The highlight was certainly the pool area. Very well done. The kids loved […] it! I would recommend this hotel as an affordable option great for large families! Read more
"Great location---Close to Restaurants and parks."
highly recommend staying at this hotel. Pool is fantastic! Water is always clear and warm. The Suite was very nice. Room was clean and everything was in good working order, with the exception of the Air conditioning. If this was the Summer time, I would have called and had it fixed, but it wasn't that warm outside(75-82) and the balcony door was left […] open for air circulation. The only negative is the WIFI access is horrible. It constantly goes down...I was located in Building 3 and had a good/excellent connection and it was down whenever I tried to use it at night. The only time that you could get on with any consistency was in the morning when people were sleeping..Ha Ha.. I would stay here again and plan to do so on my next trip to Orlando. Read more
The location was very nice as it was somewhat secluded. Was disappointed to find out that the price did not include housekeeping and that there was an extra charge for that. Also the room was not maintained properly. The carpet had toenails littered about and it obviously hadn't been vacuumed very well before our check-in. The bulbs had burned out in […] numerous light fixtures and the drains in the bathrooms were very rusty. It is doubtful that we would stay there again given the numerous other hotels available in that area for the same price. Read more
