"Nice hotel in Venice"
Very nice hotel, clean, slick hotel but friendly, awesome rooftop pool with views, quiet, nice lounge, very helpful staff (Sara, Alessia, Liliana), concierges (Yezirah & Carlo) were excellent--Carlo helped us by phoning & getting train tickets, But somewhat isolated on island, need boat to get to main sites, Nice to have free boat shuttle, Recommend: Airport--> bus to Plz Roma-->water taxi's (#2, or N)--much faster... Some problems with online booking & room status--needed many phone calls to resolve with hotel vs Hotels.com--so double check room size with beds & #'s, Hotel managers worked very hard with great customer service,

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Helpful and friendly. I cannot fault the hotel. My only comment would be that I would prefer not to have music in the pool area. In the bar, fine. Not around the pool Staff did turn it off and down when asked, thank you. This was our scond visit to Venice.

"Flawless with excellent service!"
Best hotel I have ever stayed at. I have traveled in the US, Canada, Europe and Central America, this hotel will be in our mind forever. Beatiful place, great service, excellent food and buffete. I can't complain about anything, once you figure out the water transport system this place is flawless!

"Close but not the best"
Stayed three days with four rooms for 8 people. All the rooms were different sizes with mine being rather small in comparison to the others by about four feet in length. Annoying, as we had the most suitcases:) The hotel is off the main island but of course has spectacular views of the main island especially from the pool area on the 8th floor. The hotel has to be reached by hotel water shuttle of about five minutes. Not sure I knew they were going to charge $ 3.50 a day per person but just a little thing. The lobby is immaculate and very grand in scope. The remodel of this old flour factory was well done. The temperature was in the 70's and 80's F and the air conditioning was barely keeping pace, not sure of this room in the summer. Impossible to call down to the front desk for answers, the phone was answered less than 10% of the time which includes repeated attempts. Not sure of why this happened. Overall a nice experience but not a 5 across the board. There are some inexpensive restaurants on the island, Harry's is not one of them, go further down the walk for these local spots. Bakeries and little stores are on the strip also if you want to forego the standard overpriced hotel buffet.

"Our recent stay"
Great location and view from rooftop. Easy access to and from San Marco via complimentary water taxi. Food and drink at hotels good, but very pricey. Also, wifi is not free throughout hotel. Overall great stay.

"American style hotel with Italian flare."
The Hilton Molino Stucky is a beautiful hotel that combines location, amenities, and a historical landmark. As an American traveler I was familiar with the Hilton brand and the Molino Stucky did not disappoint. The hotel is huge and offers every amenity possible. The rooms are clean and tastefully done with big bathrooms. Our room had lots of windows that opened up in the bedroom and bathroom with a great partial view of the canal. The room was quiet and the hotel offers a good breakfast buffet, and ample choices in restaurants. We had an enjoyable stay and would stay again when in Venice.

"Honeymoon stay"
Very nice venue for holiday. A bit far from tourist center (St. Mark's Square), however during the day is hotel providing compliant boat shuttle (7,- EUR per full stay I would consider as compliant compare to the standard boat taxi prices in Venice). Hotel was comfortable enough, stuff helpful and willing to help. I would appoint 2 cons: 1. We arrived a bit late (I informed the hotel in advance) and even I'm a Hilton Honor member we got most probably the worst room they have (1st floor, windows oriented right to the backdoor of local restaurant. Only after my claim we got the upgrade, however next day only. 2. The breakfast in Executive lounge (recommended by receptionist as an advantage for me as a HH member) was really terrible. Poor choice of food, no vegetables, etc... Once we left this "offer" next day and joined standard breakfast, we realised the different universe - breakfast worth the Hilton standards :-)

"These people have "luggage" down!"
We were met at the door by the bell staff who promptly whisked our luggage off. Hours later - after we visited San Marco plaza - our luggage was indeed in our room. Add the view of the Canal and this was our best hotel experience EVER.

"Hotel Great! Hilton Water Bus / Taxi a nightmare!"
Hotel is was one of the best I have ever stayed in however, the Water Taxi is a nightmare, trying to get to and from Hotel to the main city. The bus hilton provides does not run often enough and is full with 39 passengers, which happened a couple of times and we were left for an hour. The water taxi is a 50 Euro minimum! Just to cross the water, that unless you share with another guest is just not worth it. I imagine most people go to Venice to see Venice, not a hotel.. which although is very nice, its location almost ruined our trip. If hilton could run the service every 20 mins, all morning/ afternoon and evening, instead of the 40 min and an hour gaps, it would make this hotel 100% better, They could also try negotiating a flat rate with the water taxis to take you across to the other side say 15 Euro.. that would be helpful to. In summary, don't go to this hotel unless you have plenty of time to wait around to get into the city. On hour short trip of two days we had precious little time, and as such would not stay at this hotel again after spending a good portion of our trip waiting for or running to catch the hilton water bus.

"Jewel of the Giudecca."
The hotel is beautiful, with brand new facilities in an historic building. The location is very convenient due to the frequent shuttle boats. The rooftop pool and bar are spectacular. We enjoyed exploring Giudecca and all the resources of the hotel. We spent the extra money for the Executive rooms since the view, the breakfast, use of the Executive lounge and internet make it worthwhile. Service was excellent. We recommend this hotel enthusiastically.

Nice hotel and good service. Free water shuttle was good, but still wasn't convenient especially one or two hours of breaks around the lunch and dinner times. Also consider the quality of the hotel bath room, I would not rate it as a 5-star hotel.

Loved it. the only thing was the air conditioner. They switch it off during this time of the year. so it got stuffy at night. we opened the windows but it was noisy. We asked for fan and they managed to find a small one. it did the trick.

One problem was the water taxi situation. As it was Easter some boats arrived full and it meant waiting another 45 minutes by a blustery port side. The hotel was very busy Good Friday and you had to wait hours for a restaurant table. There was no free WIFI in the rooms. This should be standard now as every other hotel offers it. You don't want to have to go into the public areas to access free internet. The breakfast was very good. However the room was VERY small considering I paid £1,296 for 6 nights. Top dollar especially when there were half price offers on the counter at reception. Felt that I had overpaid.

"Great Hotel but a couple of notes."
This was a very nice, clean hotel with a great view and good onsite food options. The pool was not open during my stay because of the time of year but I'm sure would have been spectacular in the summer months. The only negative was the free shuttle boat to the main island which I did not feel ran frequently enough (every 40 minutes). In addition there was a 2-hour "pause" in the afternoon and evening which meant when we arrived just after noon, we had to wait for 2 hours before we could head in to Venice if we wanted to do it for free. Finally, if you have to catch a flight very early in the morning, be prepared to pay $130 euro for a water taxi as there are no other options. Again though, this was a very nice hotel and if you don't need to be near the action all the time, it is a great option and probably less crowded during the peak season.

Only challenge was figuring out the shuttle. After that it was a breeze. Take line 2 water bus to s Marco get off and go over 1 bridge to a statue and to the right is a hilton sign listing shuttles departures .

"Best hotel in venice"
Great hotel, great food, service could be better. Toured around the city and had a chance to Look at some of the hotels in mainland venice and i can say that by far the hilton was the best hotel you can find. The only negative is the location. It is far off from everything and although they do have a shuttle service my experience was that it was always packed and service was not frequent enough. They have 2 onsite restaurants that serve amazing food.

"Venice - a beautiful winter retreat!"
The hotel is a majestic castle that provides a welcomed retreat from the bustling activity across the water. The staff were as solicitous as one would expect from a luxury property - standouts were the bellmen, reception and especially the concierge. The restaurant on the ground floor was fantastic - this is coming from someone who travels extensively and I tyr to never eat in hotels. The only negative is the hotel's water taxi - run by surly third party service - during the peak winter tourist season the taxi drivers wet visibly annoyed at having to service hotel guests. Best to by the municipal taxi ticket for 1 - 3 days and rely on those taxis- even to just cruise around and watch the sunrise/ sunset over this beautiful city

"Thin walls, great staff, would stay again"
4 nights in Venice. Location is convenient via shuttle, which is free. Not much did options on site, and walls are thin (crying baby and angry couple next door not the hotel's fault, but thin walls are). Nonetheless, service was good, ambience is nice, hotel lobby and bar were nice, and the staff were helpful with arrangements and suggestions. Would stay again.

"Spectacular Hotel Molino"
Our stay at Hotel Molino Stucky in Venice was wonderful. From our cruise ship, it was very convenient to get to the hotel. Take the blue line of the Alilaguna ( 8Euro and 3 euros for big bags) and it was the first stop. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety. The shuttle was convenient to two stops of San Marco square and Zattere. The views from the bar at the top of the hotel were spectacular. The hotel itself formally a flour mill, is a site to see in itself.

"The horrible room view bad recepcionist"
When we sign in , the recepcionist told us that we got a very good room with a great view, but her sense of nice view is a real deception the view was a trash site and we requested to be change to another room or pay more an have the room upgrade it, the refused saying they where booked but I found out that they did have rooms available, I called for second time and the personal hang up on me several times finally I was able to spoke with the recepcionist and she agree to changed us to another room but she had a very bad attitute and she give us a room not to good either but at least we where not infront of the trash

"Plush and welcoming Venice hotel"
Needed a hotel for just one nite after our cruise ended. Was sorry to have only been in the Molina Stucky one night--very nice hotel. Fabulous idea to restore a gigantic old brick factory as a hotel. Our room had enormous rough-cut timbers painted dark and holding up the ceiling, but with a beautiful bathroom suite of shower/separate tub/bidet/essential plumbing, and two sinks. Bed had fabulous linens and a skyline view of Venice. Hotel staff very attentive and helpful, from storing boxy luggage to finding an ATM to getting us on to a water taxi at 5am to the airport. Only slight downgrade is that the location is on Guideca, across the Grand Canal from the main attractions. But Hilton Molina runs a 3x/hr shuttle for free, so really very little drawback. And boat trips are not just to get to places--they are themselves a sightseeing event. Just a little hard to go out for an evening stroll across St Marco plaza.

"High expectations"
End of the two week adventure honeymoon and we were counting on a really nice place to sleep before flying home. This was not really the case and we paid top dollar for an average experience.

"Great Hotel"
Rooms were very spacious and clean. Hotel location is the only complaint since its on the other side of St Marks Square and where all the restaurants and shops are. They do have complementary vaporetto to take you back and forth but sometimes it was a bit of a wait.

"Definitely worth"
Free shuttle across canal to main area of Venice. Saved a lot of money by staying across channel. This is important since Venice is expensive. Hotel modernized and good deal for the price. Nice pool and sitting area on roof top.

"The Place To Stay!"

"j50th getaway"
Our stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice was at the tail end of a 2 week vacation in Italy. The welcome we received from when we entered the facility was just what we were looking for in our Venice visit. Our check in was pleasant and quick and the valet had our bags delivered to our room and provided us with brief information to utilize during our stay. The shuttle available was wonderful to visit other islands. Our room was clean and had plenty of amenities to utilize. The rooftop pool was clean and perfect for early evening dips and the sunsets can't be beat.

Impeccable accommodations and location. The historic Hilton Stucky is an incredible restoration of the 1800's Stucky flour mill. No detail was missed or compromised in the transformation. The food quality will rival any restaurant in Venice.

"Not the most convenient but nice hotel"
It was the first time in Venice for my wife and I. We learned a lot, like its a tough city to get around logistically. We disembarked a cruise ship and walked about a half mile to the Alilaguna. It was convenient and quick. The Stucky Hilton is the first stop. However, in order to get into San Marco Square (Venice Proper) you need to take a water shuttle, it's not bad at all. However, upon departure to airport give yourself a lot of time to travel to airport because the Alilaguna must hit all stops before dropping you off for ground transportation. The other option, which we did was take a water taxi, about 30 min but 110 euros.

"Quiet hotel away from crowds"
We stayed here 4 nights after our cruise. We were done with crowds and needed some quiet. This hotel was perfect! The room was beautiful with a comfortable king size bed and two large closets. The bathroom was very clean and modern and even had built in converters for my hair dryer. We had two amazing meals at both of the hotel's restaurants. The food and service at the restaurants were better than we experienced anywhere else in Venice. The rooftop bar has stunning views of Veniice and the rooftop pool (with another bar) is fantastic with more views. The hotel offers a free shuttle 24 hours that runs about every 30 minutes or so. Our friends met us one night for dinner and had no trouble jumping on the shuttle to meet us. The only drawback is that besides this hotel and one other at the end of the island, there is nothing else to see or do. You have to take the shuttle across if you want to shop or site see.
