Definately not an American Hotel, but in a good way. Small room, but perfectly clean and comfortable.

The hotel was very conveniently located to many great attractions and the Central train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hotel was a decent size and clean and comfortable. I would stay here again and will recommend it to others.

The hotel is at excellent location, 5 minutes walking from Centraal Station. Complimentary breakfast is plus. Walking distance to red light district and train. Good for short stay.

Excellent hotel in this price range. Room was clean and service good. I loved the canal view from my window. There was some noise at night from the neighborhood but it didn't really bother me. The location is in the center of things.

Fabulous hotel in a very convenient location about 10 min walk from the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff, reasonable size room although a bit weird crossing the roof to get to it!) with lovely views across the Singel Canal. Not a huge choice for breakfast but sufficient to fuel up for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

It got very warm at night and even with the windows open there was no circulation of air as the curtains were closed due to the risk of mosquitoes. Booked for 2 nights on a work trip as everything else in Amsterdam was full or hugely expensive. Hotels was conveniently located close to Centraal station. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom too was clean. Free WIFI too. Only negative really was that the window faced right into another building so there was no view, but at least there […] was no light pollution meaning I got a decent night's sleep. I have given top marks for everything except for the comfort of the room. My standalone room was in between the stairs of the first and second floor (there is a small lift but it's faster to walk the stairs) and next to the gents toilets. Therefore I had a very sleepless night as I heard people walking up and down the creaky stairs and closing/slamming […] doors. I have to say that it was the worst room I have ever stayed in and unless you are a heavy sleeper then you would be ok with this. I saw an option for other hotels on hotel.com for "best room available" and chose Singel Hotel as they didn't have this option. It's unfortunate as I really liked the staff and couldn't fault anything else. These queer rooms on the landings in between floors definitely should be priced much lower than the other standards rooms. I did not complain at the time as I had luckily only booked for one night. The location and service were good. The basement room given was dark, hot and airless. Next to reception and breakfast room so not much privacy and noisy at times. Hotel was fully booked at the time but I'm sure other rooms must be better.

And that's about it. Basic accommodation, very unhelpful staff, a room the size of a prison cell... pretty much the best that can be said about the place is that it's close to the train station, but not quite inside the red-light district.

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night and really friendly staff. Location is absolutely brilliant, 5 mins walk from the Central station, 5 mins to Dam Sq and 10 mins to the Red Light district. No need to spend money on Local transport. Basic breakfast included in the price of the doluble room and the staff was really friendly. The rooms are on the small side but everything else about this hotel makes up for this. It is quite central which means most tourist attractions can be reached by foot, thus saving money on travel. The staff are extremely kind, helpful and polite and nothing is too much for them. The reception is manned 24/7 which is comforting and convenient. Although […] not exciting, the breakfast is quite adequate; there is always sufficent food to go round and the coffee is excellent. They even give guests a 'leaving' present which was a first for us! Would not dream of staying elsewhere if/when we return to Amsterdam and can definitely recommend. We liked this hotel very much, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy! The farewell gift (a travel pillow) was a welcome added touch. We stayed in a triple room for three nights and the first two days were one of the hottest days on record for Amsterdam and the hotel does have air conditioning. Because we had an early flight into Amsterdam, we were very tired but it was so difficult to sleep the first night as it was very hot. We were contemplating moving hotel because the room was […] so hot. In the morning, after breakfast, I spoke to the receptionist who promised to put a fan in the room so we decided to give the hotel another try. The second night was even hotter than the first but we slept fairly comfortably thanks to the fan. The staff is very friendly, rooms were relatively clean. I also like to say that I have been told it is very rare for Amsterdam to be this hot (over 35 degrees C) and understandably most of Amsterdam buildings do not have air conditioning as it does not get this hot very often but thanks to the kind staff at Singel Hotel, we managed to have a wonderful time in Amsterdam. Hotellet har ett bra läge nära stationen och utanför red light district. Trevliga kvarter. Vårt rum var ganska litet, relativt fräscht men inte särskilt snyggt. Frukosten var helt ok, men inget exeptionellt. Helt ok för en kortare vistelse, relativt prisvärt för att vara Amsterdam tror jag.

Das Hotel liegt umweit des Hauptbahnhofes in einer Einbahnstraße und ist trotzden ruhig (eine Woche vor Ostern). Das Personal ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend und das Frühstücksbüffet reichlich. Zimmer war sauber und ok. Zusammen: Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt :-)

立地は中央駅から徒歩5分と便利で、世界遺産である運河に面しています。ホテルの人も非常に感じの良い人たちでした。部屋とバスルームは狭いですが、清潔感はあり、快適でした。ホテル近辺にレストランやスーパーがあり、食事にも困りません。朝食はバリエーションは多くはありませんが、おいしい食事でした。ホテル価格も手頃で、お得感があります。お勧めします。
