Great location, beautiful setting. Best aspect are the lovely terraces down to the water (and swimming pool) and the beautiful views of the walled Old Town of Dubrovnik. Beautiful hotel! It was a perfect place to stay for our visit in Dubrovnik. The room had a full ocean view. Perfect location, just a short walk to the city gates. Our visit was in mid-March, prior to the start of the tourist saeson. It felt as though we had the hotel to ourselves. The hotel added to our great stay in a facinating town.

This is a beautiful hotel with a great view of the Adriatic ( depending on your room). Breakfast was included and tasty. We were there in winter which was colder than normal. It would be fantastic in season. Nicholas, the man at the front desk was very helpful, informative and friendly. He helped us make reservation in Split; directed us to the right […] bus for our day trip to Cavtat; gave us details about taking the bus to Split and called to find the time etc. ( no flights availalbe). The restauant staff was pleasant and quick. Overalll we loved this hotel. It was a short walk to the Old town were we spent most of our time. Would love to stay there in season. Read more

The hotel was very nice and the location was amazing. The service staff were great (tip the pool boys for the best sun lounges or go down early and reserve a spot). The food on the other hand was pretty rough. The breakfast was decent and then it went downhill from their on. There were a couple of restaurants in town that were supposed to be nice however […] the food was sub par and very expensive. Granted, I stayed here during the high tourist season, but considering that I stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace (which is beautiful, modern and also has a private beach) for less than half of what I paid here, I was greatly disappointed and only stayed one night in this hotel. The private beach is stunning and the staff is polite but the room left much […] to be desired. The mattress was so old you could feel the springs, the room smelled like mushrooms and the shower was so tiny you couldn't turn around in it. I'm by no means a large person, but if you tried to move in this shower your hip would hit the water faucet and turn the shower off. The bathroom was so small the door didn't open all the way. It hit the toilet after opening half way and then you had to slid into the bathroom and close the door. In summary, do not pay a lot for this hotel, don't be fooled, it is a 2 star at best. However, if you get a great deal on the rooms here, the beach is beautiful, you get a nice, comfortable pad for your lounge chair by the beach/pool and you can walk to the Old Town. I promise you, you won't want to spend time in the room you get so be sure you are staying here for the beach and Old Town. Read more

I had booked sea view room, but when I checked in they said a non sea view room was allocated to me. I showed them the hotels.com voucher and eventually they fixed it. Room was clean. A beautiful hotel with access to the sea. The location suited us perfectly as we could relax by the sea/pool through the day, with views of the Adriatic and Dubrovnik old town and city walls. In the evening a 10-15 minute walk took us into Dubrovnik old town, which was perfect as we were close to the city but with a sea view and location. My friend and I stayed at the hotel at the end of March, just in the lead up to the peak season and the hotel was fairly empty. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and nice and helpful. No one helped me take my luggage to my room though but it may have been because I arrived fairly late in the evening. You're allowed to smoke on the balconies […] but no ask tray was given despite us leaving our butts in an empty water bottle. The hotel is within a 10 min walk to old town and has beautiful views from the balcony, the restaurant (we sat outside for all our meals). The hotel itself is breathtakingly beautiful. We never got sick of taking the same photos day in and out. We also went for a swim in the indoor pool which we felt was a tad too cold... could have been 1-2 degrees warmer but we still enjoyed our swim. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would def return to stay there again. Food wise - maybe we were picky, but we didnt feel like the food was up to notch but was still edible and enjoyable. just perhaps not worth the amount of money we paid for it. The hotel is built into the cliff so as you enter from the street most of the hotel accomodation is on the floors below. Our sea view room provided us with lots to observe. The choice at breakfast was excellent and was a relaxing start to the day. I would stay here again.

Loved this hotel. The views from the terrace and pool are amazing. The location is perfect, an easy 10 minute walk into the old town. Staff are friendly. Room is very comfortable (we asked for the main hotel and it was great even though we didn't have a view). Breakfast buffet is first class.

We stayed the first week in October and were lucky to have super hot weather. We paid for a room in the main hotel without a view but got a free upgrade to a room with a sea view and opening doors (no balcony as such). We ended up on the second floor with a view of the old town and Lokrum island. I imagine some of our neighbours got a view of the trees, […] which would somewhat defeat paying for a 'sea view'. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were great, we didn't try the outdoor pool as it was too hot for us but it looked nice and clean and you got handed free towels. The grounds were lovely but had lots of steps so not so good if you struggle with them. The sun terrace, which also offered outdoor breakfasting area was a good place to read or have a drink. It also had brilliant views across the bay to the old town and harbour. We ate at the beach bar a couple of times and but it was very expensive. We weren't sure if the air con was working properly as it didn't really cool the room down much. The bathroom had L'occitane verbena products in which were nice. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk down to the old town and a long 10 minute walk on the way back up when it's hot! There's a couple of bakers 5 mins down the hill and a place to buy water or pop if you want it. Overall the hotel setting was what made it for us and the fact that it didn't seem overcrowded. This hotel has kept his standards since I first stayed there 8 years ago. My preferred spots at the hotel were the ample terrace from where I could have a fantastic view of Dubrovnik's old town while having my breakfast and the sunbathing area, not only around the swimming pool but over the rocks, again overlooking the old town. Priceless!

Is a prestige hotel set on the cliff side 10 minutes walk from the Old Town. It is made up of four 'Villas', three connected and on the 'right side' of the road. Villa Glavic is an annex on the other side off the road, therefore trips to the pool and other hotel facilities mean crossing what can be an unsafe road for children. I would not stay here […] again, but if tempted ensure you are NOT in Glavic. The booking websites are not clear on this and the hotel were unresponsive. Read more

The location of this hotel and the view from it are absolutely fantastic. It is worth staying here. However, there were a few rough edges that I wouldn't expect at this price point. Our double room was actually two singles pushed together, with separate bed sheets and duvets. Decor in the bathroom was below par with some flaking paint, tiles overpainted […] and loose light fittings. Restaurant staff we nice and friendly, but made a few slip ups with our orders. This is a lovely hotel situated just a 10 minute walk from the old city of Dubrovnik but with the added bonus of a seafront location. This enabled us to combine some cultural activities with some sun and sea as well - an excellent mix for our first holiday together for 20 years without children. The room was large, clean and comfortable with an excellent […] sea view. We had a small problem with the showerhead in the bathroom but this was fixed quickly after reported. All of the staff were polite, friendly, spoke very good English and were always helpful when approached. The breakfast was excellent, an amazing array to suit all tastes. We only ate at the Beach Bar, which, sadly, was only open til 5pm. This had a limited menu but the food was freshly cooked and very good. The only slight niggle was the battle for the sunbeds on the sea front. We went to the beach at different times of day and never failed to get a bed, with the help of the hotel staff, but others were not so successful. Space was limited so 'cosy.' A walk around the city wall is a must. The view from the newly restored cable-car (a casualty of the war) is amazing. We did 2 guided walks around the old city, with the guy with the red umbrella, 1 historical and the other about Dubrovnik during the 1991 seige, both were informative. Eating out was quite expensive, local wines were good, particularly Posip Cara. Overall, an excellent hotel, beautiful city and fantastic holiday. Read more

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. There is a terrace restaurant for lunches and drinks which has lovely views of Dubrovnik and the island of Locrum. We got to know the boys at the poolside who were helpful and provided us with towels and sunloungers and were only too happy to bring a nice cold beer over to us from time to time. […] My girlfriend celebrated her bithday whilst we were there and the hotel staff obviously noticed her cards and suprised us with flowers and wine when we returned to our room. If you feel inclined and want a truly memorable evening, the hotel has the Victoria Restaurant which offers fine dining, wine, cigars and live music with, I belive, the very best views of Dubrovnik. Det här är ett riktigt trevligt hotell. Det tar bara några minuter ner till murarna, dock kan det bli svettigt på väg tillbaka om solen ligger på. Dubrovnik är riktigt kulligt, men eftersom det här hotellet ligger vid havet så är backen hit inte lika jobbig som till andra hotell. Dock så är ingången på 6:e våningen. Om man dessutom vill slippa trängas […] på bussen från badhotellen så är det här perfekt. Plus för vyn över gamla stan och att internet ingår. Hotellet er lite og hyggelig. Fint, nyoppusset og enkelt rom med god plass og flott utsikt. Også badet er stort. God og stor seng. Alt pent og rent. Hyggelig spiseområde, grei frokost. Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet. Kort vei til gamlebyen og flotte bademuligheter på hotellområdet. Nydelig frokostterrasse med vid utsikt mot byen og øyene, samt god mat. Bra renhold og orden i badeområdet som ble ganske fullt utover dagen. Dyrt, men det er verdt pengene. Anbefales.
