Die Betten waren ok und den Parkplatz gab es auch. Allerdings verwandelte er sich bei Rgen in einen Pool. Keine Microwelle auf dem Zimmer, der Fruehstuecksraum bestand aus 4 Sesseln und 2 Glastischchen. Das Fruehstueck selbst war eine sehr ueberschaubares Continental Breakfast. Die Betten wurden schlampig gemacht. Es gab fuer 2 Tage fuer 2 Personen […] ein Shampooflaeschchen, aufgefuellt wurde nichts. Das ganze Haus wirkte heruntergekommen und ungepflegt. "Hotel in Huntsville CD"
das Hotel ist nix besonderes; es liegt direkt an der Hauptstrasse des Ortes und ist demzufolge nicht das ruhigste. es gibt sehr schöne Resorts oder B&B an einem der wunderschönen Seen; das wär sehr viel besser gewesen !!!! Zimmer sind ok und sauber ! kein Frühstück!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location on Main Street"

The motel-like Inn is very central in Huntsville on the main Street. The rooms are nicely furnished with new flat screen TVs, new bedding and comfortable chairs. A small fridge and long counter with a sink are separate from the tub and toilet. The heating and AC are new and controlled by a wall touch screen. There is slight traffic noise but in the lower rooms where you can drive up to the door for easy access there are noises from the old plumbing. You hear the shower and toilet from upstairs when they are used and there is a pinging noise at times from pipes expanding and contracting. This does not happen at night when everyone is asleep, thank goodness but can be annoying during the evening and morning. Ask for an upper room if you want quiet all the time.

I was at this hotel for a 2 day business meeting in the town of Huntsville, I was asking the lady at front desk about the restaurants and shopping, she acted like I was taking up to much of here time and when the phone rang she answered it leaving me standing there and did not pay attention to me at all. I finally walked away on my own while she was laughing and talking not so nicely about a other employee. no people skills what so ever, extremely rude to quests, she is a tall lady with short hair and glasses, I heard someone call her joy.

Stayed for the Muskoka River X. As we had a canoe and gear to prep we had asked for a ground floor room. The hotel was very accommodating and we were able to park right in front. The room was clean and had everything we required. The beds were exceptionally comfortable ! The breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly. Easy walk to great restaurants and the river. Thanks and I look forward to returning.
"Great 2 Night Stay..."
Originally booked for one night. Was so impressed we ended up staying for 2 nights in 2 separate rooms and both were fantastic ~ more like the quality af a really nice hotel as opposed to a motel. Up to date spotless renovated rooms with great beds. The staff was all super nice and accomodating. The free continental breakfast was very lacking though. This Inn is located in the PERFECT spot for exploring. It's not even a 5 minute walk to get to many restaurants, stores, gift shops, patio bars, movies, the water, antique shops, the theatre etc etc. so we didn't have to drive anywhere. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel appears recently renovated, with new beds and TVs. It's a simple room but clean and centrally located. Walking distance to several restaurants and downtown. Reasonably priced especially by Muskoka standards, and it's also a Choice Hotel, akin to a high end Econo lodge. All in all, it's a clean room in a good spot.

Rooms have been recently refurbished, with new paint, bathroom fixtures. Room was clean and front desk staff was pleasant. Wifi worked fine. However, beds seem a bit worn, and overly soft. Not the best if you require a firm mattress to get a good night's sleep. Complementary breakfast was quite basic, just bagels, bread and instant oatmeal packets. Don't use the toaster and the juice machine at the same time, as a fuse will blow!

We stayed here from August 4-6 the location is good but the housekeeping and management not. I waited to post this review because I was told I would be getting a credit for my stay but 11 days later still nothing. On the first night when our 3yr old grandson climbed on the desk chair to play he was scratched on his knee from a beer cap that was left on the chair from the previous guest. I immediately took it with a pic of my grandson's knee to be told "oh I'm sorry". The next day after being out all day we came back to a filthy room and a bathtub that was not cleaned again I went to the front desk with pics and was told "oh I'm sorry". On check out I asked to speak to the manager who was aware of my complaints and told me she would give me 20 percent off my next stay here, I replied no to which she stated well I would give you 35 percent off but it doesn't matter because you won't be back here again and you will just go home and write your nasty review in tripadvisor. When I tried to go over the points with her I was told as for my grandson it was my fault for letting a 3 yr old go up on a chair that swivels, magazines couldn't be straightened because cleaning staff are told not to touch stuff on the desk, empty wrapper couldn't be thrown out might have something in it and as for the dirty bathtub "I'm not saying you did this but how do I not know you dirty it first then took that picture". When I tried to explain how I had many years in customer service and how I trained my girls that poor customers service unfortunately goes further than good I was told "don't threaten me" which was not at all what I was doing. Finally when asked what I wanted I stated something done about this stay I was told I would receive a 35 percent off this stay but nothing to date.

My wife and I just spent this past weekend (2 nights) in room 34, a corner unit upstairs. Unfortunately, our review isn't very positive. When booking the room our credit card was charged twice the same day. When my wife inquired about this she was told they ran the card once. The credit card company told us they did twice, once for the cost of the room, and once for security in case of damages etc... Our card had the "pending transaction" of $327.70 (two nights) charged twice for a total of $655.40. We were never told about this hold that would be placed on our card. Luckily we have a high credit limit and didn't need this additional $327 that was held. To anyone with a lower credit limit planning on renting a room here and renting a car etc... also, watch out!! Upon arriving at the motel Friday night and checking into the room we noticed the housekeeping was lacking. Although fairly clean and tidy it looks as though they stopped cleaning anything over 6' high. I'm 6' and anything above my head was not clean. Top of the armoire was clearly layered with dust and cob webs littered the corner of walls and ceilings. A vacuum with a detachable wand to reach these areas are desperately needed. The room was vacuumed well except for about an inch around the perimeter of the room where the vacuum could not reach. Again, a vacuum wand is needed in this case to clean the corners and edges which were clearly dusty. Wifi in the room simply did not exist. I noticed other guests outside with their phones and tablets waving them around, obviously trying to get a signal. On our four devices we had (iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab3 and Samsung Galaxy phone) none of our devices could get a signal. We used our data plan on our phones to connect to the Internet; both our tablets were rendered useless to us while there, despite being provided the wifi password at check in. Our "hot breakfast" consisted of a small room with no tables and contained bagels and packaged muffins. I suppose the "hot" part of the breakfast was the coffee. In conclusion, $327 for two nights stay with a dirty room upon arrival, credit card dinged twice and the additional $327 held on our credit card until today (Tuesday) long after we arrived home, NO wifi, no "hot" breakfast... simply not worth it. If you are paying this much move along and look elsewhere. Funny, I type in dates just today for November and this motel drops their price at one point in November to $50 per night. 1/3 of what they had the nerve to charge us this past weekend. One more thing to consider. True, we did decline housekeeping our first morning there. They came around knocking about 10:00am while we were showering and getting dressed for a wedding so of course we had to decline, one being in the shower and the other half dressed. I figured it didn't matter anyway after seeing the horrible state of the room when we first arrived with dust and cob webs. What was another cleaning going to do, empty the garbage? Big deal. The only reason I rated this two stars instead of one is the fact the motel is centrally located and a short walk both mornings from there to get our own breakfast at McDonald's and Tim Horton's. Money we didn't plan on spending because we thought the "hot breakfast" including for our overpriced room was included.

We stayed here for only 1 night, and found the hotel very nice. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was a little dark (not much natural light and dark furniture) but we didn't spend long in there tbh. It's located very close to the shops and restaurants in Huntsville, and a short drive to Arrowhead park. We ate at On the docks pub in the evening, and had really good food and excellent service. The only small criticisms I had was on booking it said about free continental breakfast ( I expected a breakfast room and cooked food) in fact it's just a small room where you can help yourself to hot drinks, and make toast/bagels. No fruit, cereal etc. And on booking the price didn't include tax, which admittedly it said that in the small print so I should hVe looked closer, but usually when I book places the price is inclusive of extras, so didn't really like the extra $20 tax I had to pay.
"Downhill After The Sixth Night!"

We stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years and sadly this will be our last. We originally chose this hotel because we spend time with family on Harp Lake. All went relatively well until the last night (Friday). When we returned to the room in the evening, the room was not made up and the front desk could care less. Offered to change the towels for us, but I insisted that the room be made up properly. We had our grandson with us and had to wait outside for the room to be made up,making it rather late to go to bed. It was not so much about the room not ready when we arrived, but the management and staff could care less. At the start of the week we tipped the maid and we were about to do the same when we checked out - needless to say that didn't happen. The only reply from management - sorry, but can't do anything for you. "Poor Customer Service/Hospitality" to say the least. ElaineM
