The hotel was very good, room was clean, had everything we needed, service was good, awesome continental breakfast was included, great location, about 10 minutes from the beach and other must-see places. Great price.

We had a couple problems with our room - TV and bathroom, but they were very prompt in fixing both, and gave us two days of free breakfasts for our troubles. The concierge was very helpful and friendly. Very nice breakfast. We were on the newer side of the hotel, so don't know what the other side was like. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Beacon House is close to Carolina Beach. Additional area attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

"Great experience in a true beach town"
The innkeepers are wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent every day! Mike and Heather are the new owners and are out to bring the Beacon House to the top of its game. New inn-keeper Mike, and his wife Heather, are very nice, laid-back people...because they are new, they don't know much of anything about the area, but other than that, very nice. Breakfasts are good, portions pretty large. Well not beach front only see a sliver of the ocean from outside... the beach access was broken.. the room was too small... paid 80 bucks for the pineapple room way too much, the shower had a water temperature problem, could hear thru the walls no romance for us. "A WONDERFUL CHOICE FOR A MINI HOLIDAY"
Our hosts, Charlotte and Noah, were friendly and accomodating. The rooms in the inn are nicely decorated, with a seaside motif. Charlotte's breakfast was OUTSTANDING....Juice, good coffee, fresh flowers on the table. "Beacon House Inn"
They are in transition with inn keepers. Our inn keeper was fantastic. She was very friendly and breakfast was great. Coffee ready at 7:30 every morning and breakfast was at 9.
