"KONAK MELSA HOTEL, DALYAN"Reviewed by Gill Sw of "Turkey" on Oct 16, 2010
Good location on arrival, as you can't miss it driving into the area, but too far away from the beach. Lovely Ottoman Hotel with lovely surroundings. TINY balcony and very small bedroom. Lovely pool area but not a great breakfast. OK to stay for a night or two but definately not more or you would get closterfobia!
"One of the nicer 4-star hotels in Marmaris"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 30, 2010
Hotel is right next to the scenic beach of Marmaris and only a few blocks away from many shops and restaurants. All meals were included, and all-you-can-eat, and it was decent considering the room rate I was lucky to get. I'd rank it slightly below the buffets you find on cruise ships and Las Vegas casinos. The deserts are tasty, and the fruits were cool and fresh, which was great considering the hot weather. Water and soft drinks are free, but you do have to pay for alcoholic beverages. The included food might be the reason all the hotels in the area seem to be inflated by one star compared to what you'd see elsewhere. The hotel had some rough edges and signs of age. For example the air conditioning appeared broken at first, but just takes about half an hour to kick in. When it finally works, it does it can get pretty cool in the room. The TV set is small. In other words, no HDTV, but there's plenty to do outside during the summer, so you may never turn it on. There is good wifi access if you bring a laptop or smart phone with you. But you have to ask the front desk for the code, and hope they understand what you are asking for. Otherwise, for a small fee you can use the PCs there for Internet access or to play video games. Again one can probably live without the Internet if you decide to spend most of your stay by the pool, on the beach, or taking excursions around the area.

"Oh No"
The good news: all inclusive meals and drinks. The bad news: Needs maintenance bad - run down. Noisey and crowded with mainly Russian tourists. When people asked where are you staying and we told them; they said "oh no".
